There has been much confusion, it seems, about how to get a "surprise opening" attack against the Starmen in the Stonehenge base. I've seen several erroneous ideas on the subject (most people realize that it's easy to get a green swirl against Starmen but don't understand how.) It's like this: Starmen work in reverse of other enemies. To get a green swirl, you have to approach them from the front, not the back. It doesn't matter whether they're about to teleport or just came out of their teleport or are about to go into their teleport. You just have to approach them from the front and you'll get the green swirl. It's best to stand a safe distance away (so they can't teleport into your party, which usually causes a red swirl unless you're lucky in which direction you push on the control pad), wait for them to come out of the teleport, and then approach them from the front. They stand still for roughly three seconds before they teleport again. This makes it a little bit easier/quicker to beat Starmen while you're looking for the Sword of kings. Starmen and Starman supers are fairly harmless enemies; it's not vital to get a green swirl against them all the time. But it does make it so you can beat them faster. --- Zeth@starmen.net
