Dance Before the Sphinx Written by Heavily Armored Hamster Built to appease The honored Gods above Built to defends us Against the threat from beyond The Sphinx, the Sphinx The Mighty Sphinx! The Sphinx, it has a power A power to blind the dark And with this we can see The eyes of our enemy The Sphinx, the Sphinx! To show our appreciation Let us dance before the Sphinx Every 1000 years it's fated That the Evil shall respawn And maybe, in the future, The waiting Sphinx will yawn, And help four warriors Battle an evil from beyond. The Sphinx will guard the pyramid And he won’t let anyone in Unless they can convince him With a round of glorious dancing- If they trace a star, They will romance him, And he will help them And the world will be saved, then. (Note: This poem in one of the "Lost Poems" of Heavily Armored Hamster, meaning that the poem was written in 2003, but never submitted to Starmen.net until 2005.)
