Capture the Saturns Written by Heavily Armored Hamster I find it very strange That try as I might I can never combine The right string of words To describe the alien Known as Mr. Saturn It should be simple. He's so eccentric, So warm and friendly, He has a strange accent, And a colorful vocabulary I like the Saturns I really do I wonder why it's so hard To describe them in words Maybe they're complex Too complex for words Or Maybe I'm just not using The right combination Or maybe my understanding Is not fully realized Maybe my thinking is off Maybe I missed a clue The word from the creator The father of the land Sees gentle Mr. Saturn As a sign of innocence With understanding achieved I wrote another poem About the Saturn Innocence Still I was not satisfied Something was still missing I had written a poem about Saturns But it was not my view reflected Instead, the creator’s I have to find a way To say just how I feel About the Saturns In my own unique style I guess this will become a goal A goal to be completed someday A goal to accomplish in time Someday I'll find the words Someday I'll fully realize Someday I'll use my own style Someday I'll capture the Saturns (Note: This poem in one of the "Lost Poems" of Heavily Armored Hamster, meaning that the poem was written in 2003, but never submitted to Starmen.net until 2005.)
