Halloween Night: Giygas Returns

I'm going to tell you a story,
I'm going to tell you a tale,
About the return of the kids
That is going to make you pale

It was a dark stormy night,
Only three years after,
In the wide-awake town
You could hear only laughter
Fun was in the air,
Halloween was tonight,
But Onett would soon see
The biggest fright

Ness was with his friends,
Paula, Jeff, and Poo
Going from house to house
Like all good children do
Little did they know,
In a faraway land
That Pokey was planning
The mightiest of plans

It was a quarter after midnight,
Just fifteen past twelve,
Kids were wrapping it up
Eating the candy they held
When Ness heard a "kaboom"!
Then saw a great big crash!
Up on top of the hill
All of the land was smashed

He was really tired,
Just wanted the night to end
But he got out his weapon
And so did his three friends
They started up the hill
Ready for all
Then from behind them
A familiar voice called

"Hey Ness!", they turned
And it was Pokey for sure
Jeff then cried out,
"Did you come for some more?"
Pokey just stared
He didn't say anything
Then from behind him rose up
The mighty demon king

Giygas was mad,
But now he was back
Ness didn't move at all
Just reached into his sack
Paula was grinning
From ear to ear
Time stood still
Seconds seemed like years

"So you're finally back"
Ness said with a smile
Took one step forward
And looked at him for a while
Took out his mighty bat,
And Paula got her pan,
Then all four of them
Ran toward the little man

Pokey jumped into the air
Caught by Giygas' hand
Then blasted them all
Headfirst into the sand
Poo got up first,
The he ran forwards,
Convinced to destroy the evil
With his awesome sword

By now the town was watching
The incredible fight
You could see it from miles
Because of the bright moonlight
Then Poo got hit,
And you could hear him yell
But Ness ran over to him
And made him well

Sparks flew through the air
You could see them in the sky
Rockin, Fire, Thunder, and Freeze
All of them flew high
And these psychic jolts
Flew around like rain
But Ness, Paula and Poo
Started to get drained

Jeff saw this problem
And aimed his taser
And hit Giygas head-on
With his powerful laser
I guess he had enough
Giygas started to flinch
And then suddenly dropped
The fat Mr. Minch

Paula could see Giygas
He was almost dead
So she got on her knees,
And then bowed her head
All of Onett held hands
And gathered around
To pray together
In very joyful sound

Giygas could stand no more
And his spirit was devoured
The town was super-happy
And with thanks the teens were showered
Ness looked out
The corner of his eye
Pokey was leaving,
And Ness just sighed

"I don't know if he'll change"
Ness thought to himself
"But at least I know
That I'm still in good health"
Pokey was panting
As he boarded his plane
He looked into Ness' eyes
And knew he wasn't the same

Ness was stronger,
Mostly in heart
Once again he had defended
Pokey's fiery darts
He got to eat his candy,
And played with his dog, King
But then he heard the phone
It had started to ring

He picked up the receiver
And it wasn't his choice,
But he once again
Recognized the voice
It said, "I'm gone now,
But I have one message to send:
Next year I will get you!"
So is it the end?
