Zenith, Book 1: Mani Mani; Chapter 6: Low Standards

"Okay. I've been in this police station many times. There's a back door that is hardly ever locked. The door connects to a hallway that has many side passages. One connects to the evidence room. Another connects to the information room."
"Information room, eh?"
"Yes. That's where the cops keep all the information that they steal or drag out of people. I suggest we go now. The cops just ate a few donuts and are probably sleeping like babies."
"Fine. Let's do this. But be careful, I don't want to be caught. I don't want to be in trouble with the law. AND NO SHOOTING. We don't want to be cop killers." Mike ran off to the rear of the building. RG followed.
Mike started to pick the lock to the door when he realized that it was unlocked. He opened the door and snuck in. They both wandered around the maze of halls until he came to a locked door marked "evidence". Using his superior door breaching skills and lock defeating techniques, Mike opened the door. He then crept in. RG stood his ground outside of the door, watching for anybody who was still awake.
The evidence room was very dark. It took a minute for Mike's eyes to adjust to the dark. Once adjusted, he could see that his bag was on a shelf. He got the bag, opened it up, and to his surprise found money. He grinned, and noticed that there was a folder in the bag as well. Next mission. Hmm... seems as if I get to go break into the mayor's tower and find information. I? Oh right, we. RG and I are going, I suppose. That oughta keep him quiet. Satisfied with his discovery, Mike left the room. He motioned to RG to follow.
They started to sneak out, when something of interest caught Mike's eye. In the police chief's office, there was a large red envelope addressed to the chief from Pirkle. Hmm... Noting that the door was open, Mike walked into the chief's office and pocketed the envelope. Then, both intruders exited the building quickly.
"That was awesome. We should do that again sometime soon." RG was grinning.
"Right. Sometime soon. If you hold on and wait while I read all this stuff, we can go start on, and finish, our next mission." Mike sat down in the park, laid his papers out, and started to read using the little light that the signs in the city put out.

Geez...their sure taking their sweet time...
Matt and Kyle were still waiting by the exit for the group they had seen at the cafe to come. It seemed as if they had been standing there for an eternity.
"Are you sure they're in here?" asked Kyle. He was getting pretty tired of waiting. "Maybe they're not here..."
Bzzzzz...Security alert! All personal report to second floor; sporting goods facility.
The sound came from the 2-way radio of a nearby security guard. He dropped the coffee he was sipping nad raced towards the scene of the crime.
"Hey, maybe we should help?" said Kyle, watching the guard dash up the escalator.
"Why not?" replied Matt. "It beats waitin-"
Matt's words were cut off by the shoplifter pushing him aside (along with several security guards) and knocking him on his face. He quickly recovered and righted himself.
"Lets get him!" cried Kyle racing out the door. Matt immediately followed.

They followed him through the streets of Fourside. He was unaware of anyone chasing him, and he eventually flopped down on a bench at the bus stop. Matt and Kyle approached.
"Okay, you're coming with us," said Matt, grabbing Rockwells arm.
He quickly broke out of Matt's grip.
"I have more important things to do than to squabble with you too. Leave now and no harm will come to you."
"I doubt that will be happening..." said Kyle, bringing his stick into a battle-ready pose. Matt did the same with his sword.
"Look; we don't want to fight you, so just come peacefully!" ordered Matt.
Rockwell readied his new 'sword'.
"You two are really asking for it," he muttered.
Yes... said the mysterious voice once again. Kill them both!
Rockwell could not resist the command. He swung his bat and began his assault on the two.

"What do you think is in there? I hope the next mission involves shooting. I like to shoot things!" grimaced RG.
"Well, let's open it up and take a look." suggested Mike.
RG just rolled his eyes and watched as Mike, ever so slowly, opened the envelope.
"So are you going to open it or what? It can't take all day to open an envolope!"
"Quiet you! I'm getting to it!"
It was finally open. RG wondered what it was. He leaned over Mike's shoulder to read. It read...

Hearing the resounding ring of a nearby alarm, Skulryk quickly propped open his camera case. He grabbed out the camera, but left the tripod and attachments inside. He would need to be moving for this.
Scrambling towards the sounds of panic, he quickly activated his camera and slid to a stop, bringing it up and managing to lock it in place, keeping it steady. He caught a man fly past with a baseball bat in his hand, bowling over several guards and bystanders. Skulryk kept his camera following the man until he was out of view.
After the scene was over and people mumbled, slowly going back to their shopping, Skulryk deactivated his camera and returned to where he put his case. Locking everything in, he smiled. "That's some good footage. I'll be able to sell that to the press for quite a bit. Not a top story, but it'll keep my career afloat."
He hefted his camera back in and hefted it up on his back, continuing to search around the mall. This time, he managed to find pretty much what he was looking for.
"Hey! Guys! Uh... I think it was Cyan!" Skulryk shouted over the crowd of people.
Cyan, Siris and Luna turned to where Skulryk was. Making his way through the crowd, he came over. Siris spoke up. "Hey, Skul. I remember our meeting earlier. Any particular reason you came here to meet with us again?"
Skulryk put his case on the ground; it was rather heavy, and he was tired from carrying it around. Sitting down on a nearby bench, he looked up and said "I wanted to continue our conversation from the cafe. I was sort of dragged out of there, but I have a lot of things I want to know... First of all, how did you know my name? You seem to know a lot about me, and I've never even met you before... I'm pretty sure I'd remember that. I also felt something around you... I'm not sure about it, but I know something big is going to happen concerning you. It's just a feeling I get from time to time. Anyways, would you mind if I followed you along? I know I might be a hassle, but I won't do anything to hold you back."
"Sure..." Cyan said. He thought back to his previous adventure, but decided not to mention it. "Right now, we're following a signal we have, using a tracking device. It detects Sugemo and Stellar energy."
Skulryk stared blankly at Cyan. He pulled his notepad from his coat pocket. While writing, he said to Cyan "Uh... What are you talking about? Could you elaborate a bit? Um... lets see... How do you spell 'Sugemo'?"
Ignoring Skulryk, Cyan went on. "We have detected one signal nearby. Sirus has also said he can sense the auras of people, and he senses several powerful ones."
Skulryk took a moment to write this on his pad. Slipping it back into his coat deftly, he looked back at the group. "Ok, I'll come with you." He picked up his camera case, hefting it on his back once more with a groan. "Ok, let's go!"

TsuramiSea continued to run through the streets of Fourside, desperate to find Ness. Oh, where could he have gone? sighed Tsurami in his thoughts. Why did he run off like that? It's almost as if he were out of his wits. What could possibly cause that?
Then he turned to his behavior in front of the others. Why can't I seem to get along with people?
Sometimes, when he was depressed, TsuramiSea used his hands as puppets to mock him. He partook in just this activity now. "Why can't you get along with others?" said Tsurami's left hand in a squeaky voice. "Maybe it's because you're an annoying, embarrasing, selfish little brat?"
And TsuramiSea, as usual, could think of no better reply on the spot than "Shut up."
"That's all you ever say when I point out your faults! SHUT UP! You're just too stupid to defend yourself!"
"Listen!!" growled Tsurami. "I try my best. I knew Cyan and so I thought that he'd help me, but apparently he's too busy right now."
"Exactly! He's BUSY, and you're just getting in his way. Do you EVER think of anyone but yourself?"
"What?! I'm thinking of Ness! I want to help him!"
"Just so you can earn his appreciation!"
TsuramiSea slapped his hand lightly, and made it fall limp. He projected no more onto it. Some people in the streets had stared for a couple of seconds, but they dismissed him as a harmless lunatic, and went back to worrying about the punks and serial killers that REALLY demanded their attention.
A piece of newspaper blew throughout the streets towards him. He picked it up, thinking to throw it in the nearest trashcan. Giving it a quick look-over, he noticed that it was from the day before. The headline was "Bus driver and 25 passengers killed in crash!" This must be the crash Paula was in...
It hit TsuramiSea. "Of course! Ness probably rushed out here because he was angry over Paula's death. At any rate, it seems reasonable...."
"But you're quite wrong. She was supposed to die that way, but we ended up having to take care of her."
Tsurami spun around to face a UFO. It didn't seem like a basic Lil' UFO, though. It was one of the higher levels, but TsuramiSea didn't know which. I have to study EarthBound more, I guess. "What are you talking about?"
The UFO's eyes glowed red. "Our master is getting angry with you. He had to divert some of the energy from his signal to sense you, and call us. You must no longer follow Ness Lee. And there's only one way to make sure of that." Three more UFOs glided into the area. The humans that were in the area screamed and ran away at the strange presence.
"Master? What are you talking about? What do you want with Ness?" cried Tsurami.

"Altus..." Harsemhin mused. "I know I heard that before, but where?"

Yet More of Harsemhin's Memories
"Are the invaders coming?" I cried.
A friend of mine nodded.
He rushed out of the room we shared.
"Let's make sure we return to Altus together," I added as he departed.
I never saw him again.
"Of course!" Harsemhin exclaimed. "I came from Altus before I came to Autumns."
Cirra hesitated again.
How does he know so much about me? Like where I came from? And my real name? she thought.
Why does Rita continue to hesitate whenever I explain something like that? Harsemhin mused to himself.

"Let me go!" cried Rockwell, trying to free himself from his silk bonds. He had been entangled and contained by Matt's "Web" spell.
"I didn't want to attack you!" he cried, struggling wildly.
"Suuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeee you didn't," said Kyle sarcastically. He rubbed the large bruise on his head and cringed. The battle had been vicious, but it was two-on-one and Rockwell hadn't really stood a chance.
"We're going to turn you in to the authorities just as soon as we mend our wounds, okay?" explained Matt. He and Kyle both collapsed on the bench and bandaged up.
"Nice job in the fight," complimented Matt. "I really underestimated how strong you were."
"Thanks," he replied. "You're not too shabby yourself. To tell you the truth, at first I thought you were just some freak with a sword."
"How about you two shut-up and let me go!" exclaimed Rockwell frustratedly. "It's...not my fault that I attacked you!"
Matt and Kyle stared skeptically at Rockwell. Kyle approached him. "We don't really care what you say; we're turning you in for shop-lifting and there's nothing you can do about it!"
Rockwell struggled to break free.
"The shop-lifting wasn't my fault either..." he trailed off at the end, realizing how crazy what he was saying sounded.
"Whatever..." muttered Kyle, sitting back down on the bench once again.
"We should drop him off at the police department and head back to the department store soon," said Matt, picking himself off the bench and dusting himself off. "We may have already missed the lot of them."
"You're right," said Kyle, also standing now. "Anyway, I want to get this psycho off our hands as soon as
possible." They picked up the disabled Rockwell and headed towards the Fourside Police Force (FPF) building.
I need to figure out a way to escape... thought Rockwell intensely. But how...

After wandering around the department store aimlessly for some time - trying to find the source of the signal he was tracking - Cyan stopped abruptly and muttered a few things under his breath.
"I can't believe I managed to get this thing configured wrong!" Cyan exclaimed more audibly.
"What did you do?" asked Siris.
"I managed to get the screen misaligned. I've been tracking a signal that's actually a few kilometers from here. It's on the other side of the city!" Cyan sweat dropped.
Siris and Luna fell over.
"A few kilometers?!" exclaimed Siris.
"Unfortunately..." said Cyan as he fiddled with the device. "Ah, here's Harsemhin's signal. If you don't feel like crossing town with me, why don't you hook up with him? Looks like he's on the next floor up."
West of Fourside ... Anth must be at the Gulf Temple, Cyan thought to himself trying remember where it was located precisely, while waiting for answers from the others and leaving.

Idiot. Can't take care of two novices... Mani Mani sighed as he waved his hands in the air, He may need some assistance...

Rockwell struggled in the web-like thread, trying to break free, then he felt something. He felt something sharp in his hands. Something came to him and he fell back on the ground and said, "Okay, I'll go quietly..."
Slowly, one by one, the thread begin to tear away, giving Rockwell a chance to escape. Kyle and Matt slowly apporached him, readily themselves to pick up Rockwell and take him to the FPF. When they gripped onto the threads, the web teared apart in an instant and Rockwell broke loose, swiping Matt's sword and back away. A woman passed by and Rockwell grabbed her arm and held the sword to her neck.
"Nobody move... or she'll get it..." Rockwell growled, as he slowly back away.
Matt and Kyle stood back, not wanting to threaten her life in the hands of a madman... that's when the siren was heard from a distance. Rockwell swore under his breath, threw the woman to the ground, and ran as far as he could go. Kyle and Matt stay behind to make sure she was okay and then took chase.
A giggling sound could be heard in Rockwell's mind as he ran through the street with his new-founded weapon.
So, you're not useless after all! Dear, dear Rockwell... may I ask something of you?
Rockwell was used to the voice now and said, "What?!"
I'll just take your mind and control it. Think of the power I'll give you!, the voice laughed.
"No deal." Rockwell said to himself as he turned around the corner.
Oh... I'm afraid it's not an option. YOU WILL BECOME MY PAWN, the voice laughed evilly.
Then it struck, Rockwell screamed out loud in the middle of an intersection of Fourside, holding his head in agony as every thought was sapped out of his mind. He fell to his knees and kept holding it. He screamed out, "NO! Please!"
Just one more... thought. You'll see your swords again... I'll be sure of that... The voice laughed once again.
Rockwell craned his head back, showing his blue eyes bulging out, screaming at the highest volume that he could possibly capable of... then he stopped and hung his head down. Slowly, his head rises and his eyes weren't the same anymore... it was black... very black. He had now become a puppet in the puppetmaster's play.

Siris spoke up. "Actually, Cyan, I think I want to stick with you for now," he explained. "I'm a bit apprehensive about meeting with-" Here Siris scanned the auras that he felt not terribly far away. "-all of those people, especially if they have no clue who I am."
"Indeed," Cyan nodded.
"But, just between to two of us," Siris edged closer to Cyan to speak in a whisper. "I kinda want to stick with Luna."
"Ah, heh." Cyan smiled.
"So, you see," Siris said, backing away. "I'm not sure what I want to do right now."
"That's okay," Cyan said. "I can wait for a few minutes longer..."

"Whoah..." gasped Kyle, staring at Rockwell. He and Matt had followed Rockwell, but stopped when they found him at the intersection. Rockwell looked at them with those black eyes...
"Give back my sword!" yelled Matt.
Kyle wasn't sure if Matt noticed Rockwell's change. Kyle knew something evil was up, and he was interested. "I'll try to get your sword back," Kyle assured Matt. He brought up his stick and it changed to blues.
Rockwell stared into Kyle.
Kyle rushed at him and tried a series of swings with the stick. Rockwell blocked each one with ease. Kyle noted the increase of power...
Finally, Kyle jumped back from Rockwell and smiled. "Cool. What's controlling you?" Kyle put the stick into his pocket, which contained the stick's personal storage black hole. "What's taken control of that mind of yours? Let's see." Kyle tried to read Rockwell's mind... Nothing. Blank. Kyle's smile broadened. He liked dealing with really powerful evil enemies. Not for the fighting though... "So. This, shal I say, "entity" is powerful enough to take complete control of a mind... That's pretty cool."
Rockwell continued to just stare... Mani Mani, however, was getting mad.
"Shoot! This kid is a nuisance! He's gonna figure this all out soon if I don't-"
Rockwell suddenly charged at Kyle.
Kyle suddenly got serious... "PSI Aqua Omega!" Many condensed bubbles and waves appeared out of nowhere and rushed at Rockwell. When it all stopped, Rockwell was lying against the building. He had dropped Matts sword in the street. Kyle smiled again and walked over to pick up Matt's sword. He bent dow to see if it was damaged. "Kyle! Look out!" yelled Matt.
Kyle looked up just in time to see Rockwell's fist about to connect with his face..
*pow!*

Kyle went flying back and held his nose to prevent the blood from escaping. Rockwell immedatily picked up his sword and spoke in a strange voice... a voice they had never heard before.
"If you value your life... don't follow me..." Rockwell growled as he clenched his fist while teleporting.
Matt ran to Kyle, to see if he was okay.
"I'm okay, I'm okay... where did he go?" asked Kyle.
Matt shrugged his shoulders and said, "No idea, should we look for him?"
Kyle shook his head and said, "No. We should find the others."
With that, they set off for the department store to see if they could meet the other group of people they had been looking for in the first place before being sidetracked by the shoplifter.

Cyan tapped his foot on the ground and said, "Can we go now?"
Siris held up his hand and respond, "In a minute... I just need to do this little thing."
Siris walked up to Luna, but as he approached her, another figure warped in front of him. Leather jacket, seems familar. Siris stepped back, and came face to face with Rockwell. He was surprised, since he didn't feel his usual aura... for some reason, it was replaced with a empty soul... as if his heart was empty now...
Rockwell grabbed Siris by the neck and lifted him off the ground with a blink of an eye. Cyan took noticed and pulled out his sword, ready to fend off Rockwell. However, Rockwell pulled out the sword that he stole from earlier and put it near his neck. He chuckled and waved his index finger, mocking Cyan.
"Uh, uh, uh... I wouldn't do that if I were you..." Rockwell said in an onimous voice, "Now, why don't you be a good boy and drop that sword to the ground..."
Cyan did as he said, not wanting to put someone's life at risk. Rockwell stepped sideway, still holding Siris, and saw Luna with a crowbar in her hand that she took from a display. Skulryk, however, was armed with pencils.
"Heh... you don't know who you're messing with. For I see all..." Rockwell chuckled to himself.
The shopping crowd gathered behind the group, waiting for something to happen. Rockwell reached out with his free hand which caused Cyan's sword took a life of its own and flew into Rockwell's hand.
"Now Siris, where is this dear boy's swords? Naughty, naughty..." Rockwell giggled.
"Let him go!" Luna screamed, "You're taking this too far!"
Rockwell pointed at Luna with Cyan's sword and said, "You, be quiet little girl. If you know what's best for you."
SimonBob crept near Cyan and whispered in his ears, "Hey... do you find something unusual about his voice and his eyes?"
Cyan whispered back, "Now that you mention it... it's very unusual..."
Rockwell chuckled, "No need to hide things from me. I see all.. and hear all..." He tapped Cyan's sword on the ground, "Yes, this is the same physical appearance... but what's different is... oh... I'll let you figure it out later..."
"What do you want?" Cyan commanded of Rockwell.
"What do I want? The swords. With them, I'll reach the zenith of my power..." Rockwell chuckled as he licked his lips, "After the task is set, the puppet's role will end. Out will come the puppetmaster..."
Then he begin to sing, "Master of Puppets, I'm pulling your strings... twisting your mind, smashing your dreams..."
Among the crowd, someone whispered, "Metallica. Cool guy."
Another whispered, "Are you crazy? He's ready to kill that dorky guy!"
"Yeah, but it's Metallica, man!" The first one whispered back.
The two swords, Sword of Shadows and the Sword of Light flew out of Siris' bag; with the word, "BAG", marked on it. Both flew into their sheath behind Rockwell's back.
"Now, Siris... let's see how your blood looks. That way... I'll make a little recipe which I'll call... 'Bloody Siris,' to go along with the hearts of your friends." Rockwell chuckled and he used Cyan's sword to cut a deep wound in his cheek and licked the blood off the sword, "Hmm... tender. I'll never forget that taste. There's something... tangy to it... almost as if it has... love."
Rockwell bursted out laughing and said, "So, you have feelings for a member in your team? You'll go any length just to get that person but you won't let that person know? Pathetic, but I like your style, Siris. SimonBob just decided to let split up with you?" Rockwell chuckled once more again, "Naughty little boy..."
Rockwell pointed Cyan's sword at Luna and asked, "This is the girl?"
Luna's eyes brightened and her cheek immedatily turned red as she turned away.
"I can tell she doesn't desire you... you might as well forget it." Rockwell laughed at the emotional conflict that he caused between the two, "Hm... there's relation of the Altus Royal Family in this store. Where is she?!"
Rockwell yelled out in frustration, "WHERE IS THAT CURSED LITTLE GIRL!?"
The crowd had no idea what he was talking about in the first place. Rockwell tightened his grip around Siris' neck and yelled, "Where is she?! Bring her forth, or this boy's heart will be no more!"
Rockwell twisted his head around and saw what he was looking for... Rita.
"YOU!" Rockwell screamed, as he kicked Siris to the ground and leaped to that very spot, in front of Rita.
"Thought you could escape the castle alive, didn't you? I knew those bumbling fools couldn't do anything right." Rockwell growled as he brought the two swords up to her neck, "Time to finish off what they couldn't do."
Rita immedaitly whipped out her M-16 and took a shot at Rockwell, who fell back, groaning in pain. The strange thing was, no blood was spilled. Rockwell looked up and said, "Stupid girl."
He raised his hand and smacked her across the face, sending her down to the ground. Harshemin took action by charging toward Rockwell and ramming him in the stomach with his head. Rockwell fell back once more and dropped Cyan's sword down to the first floor. Cyan, sensing this, grabbed the sword back and ran up, ready to fight Rockwell, with Skulryk behind him, ready to take any record of what might happen there. Luna, however, was too distraught by what she had heard a moment ago. Siris got off the floor and started to stuttered.
"Luna, I can expla-" Siris was cutted off as Luna slapped him across the face and ran off.
Siris, a bit shocked, stood behind watching Luna run up the stairs with Cyan to confront Rockwell. He took the time to gather his sense and make out what was wrong with this situation. Rockwell, however, wasn't happy with the way they were holding him up. He held out his hand and yelled, "STOP!"
Then he began to speak, "I don't have the time for this ridicilous battle with such weaklings. I got what I want... as for you, Rita... watch your back. The Atlus Family will be executed for good." Rockwell chuckled as he threw Matt's sword before Cyan, "Be a dear boy, and give that sword to a weakling named Matt, will you?"
Rockwell laughed hysterically as he began to fade away. Once he had completely disappeared, the shopping crowd went back to their usual business, forgetting what just happened a moment ago. Harsemhin contend to Rita, who was a bit shaken up from that disrespectful attack on her. Siris joined up later, but Luna wasn't in the mood to talk to Siris.
"We should look for SimonBob." Luna declared.
Cyan shook his head and said, "Not right now. We have to introduce ourselves to these... two."
Upon hearing this, Skulryk immediately wrote down, "Then they introduce themselves."

The activity in the mall having returned to normal and the threat gone, Cyan went next to Luna and whsipered simply, "Just give Siris a chance," before he stormed away, cursing his error.
"How in the world did I manage to blow that one?" he yelled at himself. "I should have frozen Rockwell when I had the chance ... or at least his arm to free Siris."
When he exitted the deptmart store, Cyan turned to find Siris and Skulryk just behind him.
"Still looking for Anthadd?" asked Siris.
"Who's Anthadd?" asked Skulryk.
"With the way my luck is going, I'd better find him soon before I blow it again."
"Don't worry about it, Cyan. The cut isn't that bad and I don't think Luna could hate me that much more now than she had before."
"Hopefully I'll find an answer at the Gulf Temple anyway, even if Anthadd isn't there ..." sighed Cyan as he started walking, Siris and Skulryk just behind him.
"You'll have to tell me all about yourself and this Anthadd person," insisted Skulryk. Cyan yielded and told Skulryk as much as he felt he could tell safely as they walked across Fourside to the Gulf Temple.

Luna slumped down on a bench. Her emotions milled inside her head like so many thousands of ants, fighting their way through each other. She sighed, and slung off her backpack next to her, and started sifting through the contents. A slight ruffling sound made itself clear behind her, and she stopped exploring her bag, and straightened up.
"Luna..." A voice began, before she stood up, and placed her hand solidly over Siris' mouth.
"No." she said, closing her eyes and sighing. "I don't want to hear it. I just met you, and you already have... feelings... for me." she sighed again, and opened her eyes. "Look, I just want to be friends, okay?"
"But you didn't give me a chance to explain!" he said, removing Luna's hand carefully. "I know you! ... from a time before."
Question marks flew around Luna's head. "Wha?"
"I-I-I.. knew you in another universe!" he finally worked out, then mumbled something. Luna's eyes suddenly went wide.
"How much blood have you lost through that wound?!" she said, staring at the cut.
"Not too much..." he tried to say, trying to look brave, except everything was going dark extremly fast. The last thing he knew was he was falling over. When he finally opened his eyes, Cyan, Luna, and Skulryk (holding a pencil and jotting down lengthy gory details) were standing over him.
"Gah." grumbled Cyan. "Stupid Siris. 'The cut isn't too bad,' he said, in a slightly mocking tone, 'I'm just losing a couple liters of blood out of it!'"
"Ooh, liters of blood!" grinned Skulryk, jotting it down. "Good one! Any more descriptive words you'd like to hit me with?"
"I've got plenty of descriptive words I'd like to hit you with..." growled Cyan, shaking his fist slightly. Luna sighed audibly.
"Would you both shut up? This restorative technique needs a little peace to bump up his metabolic rate and help him heal faster!" she sighed, smacking them both with her backpack.
Siris blinked slightly, and sat up from his position on the bench. He felt his cheek. No cut. He looked up and Luna, and blinked. She smiled slightly.
"Friends?" she offered.
"Friends." Siris grinned, and climbed off the bench.
"Friends..." Skulryk wrote hurriedly, while running after the other three. "Wait, I need some more descriptive words!"
