Union, Chapter 3: "Acceleration"
Union, Chapter 3: "Acceleration"

"Heh, I wish I could disappear like that, looks kinda interesting... Hmm. At least the sky darkened because help was arriving, instead of enemies and whatnot. I've had enough with battles. Too boring, if ya ask me..." Mike noted as he was getting up from off of the ground. "Crazy Luna, landing on me like that. I can honestly say that I wasn't expecting that."
"Hehehehehe" Luna laughed.
"Right, so anyway, what was it that you had in mind?" Jeff asked Anthadd.
"Well, we were going to go visit with a couple other people, probably Ness. These other people will, more than likely, help to figure out what we're going to do next." Anthadd explained.
"Hey Anth, look at this. You're like a magnet or something. All these people following you around. Big, big group if you ask me. Heh. Anyway, now that I think about it, you never did get to Apple Labo... perhaps you should make a stop there, since we're in the neighborhood and all. But hey, if you dont wanna do that now, it's fine with me. But we should do something..." Mike said. At about that time, Solitude reappeared. "So, everything alright?"
"Well..." Solitude started. "Well... In a way, yes. I met Pokey, but he ran off in fear after getting an arrow in his ear. Beside that, I found Rockwell. In fact, he's here with us." said Solitude as she looked down at the ground.
"Oh good. Where is he?" said Mike, not noticing the black cat behind Solitude.
"Oh geez, I feel so embrassed." Rockwell thought to himself.
Solitude moved out of the way, as she pointed at the cat. Mike stood there and then fell over laughing hysterically. Rockwell jumped to a branch belonging to the nearest tree.
"Okay, that's funny. But seriously, where is he?" Mike laughed.
"That is Rockwell." she said with a stern voice.
"How did this happen?" Anthadd queried.
"I don't know, but I think Pokey had a hand in it."
"Hmm, this doesn't seem to be one of the powers of Diu Ero. Pokey must have learned to do it himself. I'm afraid we can't do anything about his form." said Anthadd.
Rockwell let out a low moan of despair. Then he jumped back down and walked in front of Dr. Andonuts. Dr. Andonuts jumped backward.
"Oh dear me. Now I have bad luck... I need a salt shaker." said Dr. Andonuts nervously.
Rockwell shot a nasty look at Dr. Andonuts for his comment. Then Paula looked at him.
"Can he talk?" Paula asked.
"No, unfortentuly. But perhap his form can help us out in a way..." said Anthadd.
"Okay, enough of the hairy situation, let's go to our next destination." said Mike as he laughed at his little pun.
But no one laughed, they all looked at Anthadd.
"I was thinking about what Solitude said, maybe we should go to Apple Labo. He could help us out." said Anthadd.
"Perhaps that's a good suggestion." said Jeff.
"Oooh, I like black cats!" Luna shouted out in joy as she chased Rockwell.
In fright, Rockwell ran away and then climbed the tree once again. Luna stomped her left foot in frustration.
"Darn it."

Meanwhile...
Prince Poo sat at his throne, waiting for something to happen. Then Escargo Express crashed through the door while a rather familar music played.
"Escargo Express! I have a parcel for Prince Poo! Funny name. Oh, you're Prince Poo? Someone send this to me to give to you." said the Escargo Express worker.
Poo took the parcel. The worker coughed and stick a hand out. Poo looked at the hand. Confused, he asked him, "What is it?"
"That'll be 18 dollars!" said the worker, with a cheerful face.
Poo, who had no knowledge to the currency in Eagleland, was confused again. He took out 5 beads and gave them to the worker. He looked at his tip and then looked back at Poo. Then he walked off, muttering, "Cheapskate."
Poo opened the parcel and inside the parcel was an silver object. It seems to have been broken apart from something. He took it out and then examined it. Why does it seem to be so familar?
He stared at it with utmost curiousty. Then he noticed a letter inside the parcel. He took it out and took a glance at it. The writing was obscure and barely readable. He looked at it again and tried to decipher it.
To Prince Poo,
I wam... the... eb-up-ment of enil
Poo looked at it with bewildered eyes. Was that supposed to be Embodiment of Evil? He shrugged and read the rest.
I hive distrey the Orange of Enlightment.
Poo stared at the letter again, dumbfounded. Pokey must have wrote the letter. Doesn't he mean Apple? He continued reading.
Now, it can mo lomher predict the futare.
Yors Tuly, Pokey.
Poo looked at the letter and then slapped his forehead. The Apple of Enlightment has been destroyed! But how did Pokey find it? He looked at the place where he last left the fragment of the Apple of Enlightment. To his discovery, it had grown back. It appeared, that Pokey had send him the core of the AoE, but didn't destroy it. Pook clamped his hands together with utmost joy. Soon, a booming voice was heard throughout the room.
"Hello Prince Poo. I am the Apple of Enlightment's offspring. You shall call me the Apple of Enlightment, if you want. I wish to tell you of something that is of great importance. But you must bring me back to my original home before I can tell you. I cannot tell you where I live, but I can tell you this. I lived in a place very hot. It is not a suitable place for a droplet of water. Molten rocks is made there. There, you find, a enemy that can stand the heat. His melting point is quite high, indeed. Where do I live?"
Then the voice quieted. Poo looked at it. Then he ran to it and picked it up.
"Can you give me another clue, Apple of Enlightment?" Poo cried out.
It didn't answer. The Apple of Enlightment had gone back to it's deep slumber.

"C'mon Rockwell! Come DOWN!" Luna shouted up the tree, looking annoyed. "we're supposed to go to Apple Kid's Lab, and you need to come! The other have already left!"
Rockwell grumbled something to himself about being a cat, and finally jumped down from the tree, into Luna's arms. "Okay, now we can finally go!" She said, plopping Rockwell on her head, and running of to join the others.
Meanwhile, up above...
"Hmph. That nerd kid, his dad, and that girl provided the perfect cover for me!" Pokey smirked to himself. "Those adventurers thought that THEY caused the sky to darken. Perfect!" He floated above Twoson, looking down and sneering evilly. Suddenly, he noticed the girl that had fallen out of the sky was running along a street, towards Apple Labo... with a cat.
"That kid!" snarled Pokey, "That sword kid!... argh, I thought I'd gotten rid of him! Well, this time, I'll get rid of him... for good!" Pokey floated down from the sky, until he landed in front of Luna and Rockwell.
"AAAAH!!!" Luna screamed, falling over. "Who... WHAT are you?! Rockwell, is this one of your friends?!"
Rockwell shook his head vigorously, shaking slightly. "Oh man... what am I gonna do!? I'm a cat!" Rockwell thought, staring up at Pokey, who was now smirking down at them.
"I'm going to make sure you don't bother me any more, cat boy!"
**CHOMP**
"AGGH!" screamed Pokey, lifting up his leg, with rockwell's teeth sunk into it. "GET OFF, YOU STUPID THING!"
Luna stood, gasping. She knew she had to do something, but what? She settled on the only thing she was really good at... kicking.
**WHAM**
"ARRRGH" Pokey screamed again, stumbling backwards from the pain of Luna's foot planted firmly on his face, and one of his fangs broken by the kick. "I'LL KILL YOU ALL!!"
"RUUUUN!!" Luna screamed, grabbing Rockwell, and running at top speed towards Apple Labo.
All faces turned towards the door as a black cat, and a girl rushed through it, immediately collapsing on the floor of Apple Labo white-faced, panting and shaking.
"...what happened? You guys look like you've seen a ghost..." Paula said, blinking at Luna and Rockwell.
"Ghost!? No. Evil glowing fat kid!? yes!!" Luna mumbled, still shaking in a corner of the room.
All the people in the room turned to one another. "Pokey..."
"Man, I eat evil glowing fat kids for breakfast..." Mike said off-handedly. Every stopped and blinked at him. "Hey, look. I'm just trying to make everybody feel better. Oh yeah, I guess I should tell you that Apple Kid isn't here."
"And how do you know that?" Anthadd asked.
"Well, can't you tell? It's so empty in here. And besides, I saw a sign on the front lawn saying that he went fishing for a few." Everybody fell over. "I'm not kidding, it was on a tiny scrap of paper next to the sign out there. I'll even go get it." Mike ran out the door.
"He sure is weird." Anthadd stated plainly just after Mike left. Rockwell just sorta nodded.
Mike got to the sign outside of Apple's lab. He bent over and picked up the tiny, tiny scrap of paper with barely legible words. "Heh heh, good thing I have really good eye sight. It's also a good thing that I can read really, really small/bad handwriting. Heh heh..." With that, Mike turned back to go back with the group. However, before he could get there, he just passed out.

** In vision **
Mike - Hmm, this looks familiar. Wonder who's going to talk to me now.
Mysterious voice - Hey Mike. Or should I say, Lord Mike.
Mike - Uhh... who are you?
Mysterious voice - Why, I'm your advisor. Do you not remember me?
Mike - No. In fact, I think I just went insane.
Mysterious voice - Oh, that's really too bad. You know, Pokey is going to continue harrassing you and the other members of your group.
Mike - Oh yeah?
Mysterious voice - Yeah. In fact, Pokey is floating above Twoson right now, preparing to abduct Paula and Anthadd. They are major elements in defeating him and his plans to destroy the world, you know.
Mike - Interesting. That's not going to happen if I'm around. I guarantee it. I should warn the others. Oh yeah, before I forget, do you know who this one woman was from one of my previous visi--
Mysterious voice - Mike, you'll find that out when the time is right. You'll also find out who I am in due time as well.

** Out of vision **
Mike then recovered.
"Wha? Floating above the city? Plotting to abduct Anthadd and Paula?! ... Pokey?! Oh my goodness! Is... is... is that him?!!" Mike asked out loud in an excited tone. He then picked himself up. "Heh, even though I do not like fighting or participating in any overly violent things, I will not allow Pokey to abduct anybody when I'm around..". Mike stated to a little birdie who just happened to be sitting on Apple Kid's sign. He then ran back into the lab to tell the others what he had seen.

Then the door of Apple's Lab swing open and Mike ran through it, trying to say something.
"P... p... p... Pokey is above Twoson and is plotting to abduct Anthadd and Paula!" Mike blubbered, making enough sense for everyone to understand.
Jeff Andonuts adjusted his glasses and then said, "And... how did you know that?"
"I had one of those cool, don't look at me like that Rockwell, vision that everyone has been having! A voice told me that Pokey was floating above Twoson and was plotting to abduct Anthadd and Paula! But don't worry, I'll protect you too." said Mike with a big grin.
Everyone sighed. Then Paula tapped Mike on the shoulders.
"Mike, maybe we should help you." said Paula.
"I suppose we have to fight..." said Solitude.
Luna looked at Paula and Solitude and said, "Oh no, I can't fight! I can only kick! Rockwell can't do anything, except biting!"
Anthadd looked at the group. It seems that Luna, Rockwell and Dr. Andonuts are not ready to fight. But Rockwell jumped out of Luna's arm and went in the front. Anthadd smiled.
"Okay, you two will have to stay in the back row when we're in a battle... hm? Who could be at the door?" Anthadd asked.
Before Mike could open it, the door was blown apart by an energy blast from Pokey. Mike looked at the door and then shouted to him, "Hey! You'll have to pay for that, you know!"
"I'm the Embodiment of Evil, I do not have to pay for anything!" Pokey laughed, "Oh, it's you three again. Especially cat boy."
Solitude took out her bow and got an arrow ready. Luna looked at Pokey with bewildered eyes and Rockwell? Well, his fur is puffing up...
"Well, I won't have to worry anymore. I'll just take Anthadd and Paula and I'll be off." Pokey laughed.
"I'm afraid you'll have to go through us Pokey." said Solitude as she targetted Pokey.
"Grr... I'll kill the whole lot of you, even it means destroying the city!" Pokey screamed as he let loose a massive energy attack.
Anthadd pulled out his driver and then knocked it back toward Pokey.
"No! No! That's impossible!" Pokey screamed.
The Energy blast knocked Pokey two towns over, and he hasn't returned yet.
"That was easy." said Anthadd.
Everyone started clapping, except Rockwell, since he needed to use all four to stand, and Anthadd's cheeks began to glow.
"Hmm... Goodness gracious, Anth. You dealt with him with ease!" Mike said. "But, why are you glowing like that?"
"Mwahahaha!" A hideous laugh was heard throughout the room. "Anthadd did just as I expected. Did you really think that I, Pokey, was going to fail?"
"Yeah" everybody answered in unison. Rockwell just nodded his head.
"... Shut up, you guys." Pokey stated, obviously angry. "I bet that you don't even know what I did, fools."
"And what exactly did you do?" Mike asked. "Did you shoot a beam of energy at Anthadd, expecting to him to hit it back, but have that serve as a diversion to what you really did?"
"How in the world did you know that, Mike?" Pokey replied with an obviously stupefied voice.
"... Lucky guess. ... Hang on, what did you do?!"
"Well, you're just going to have to find that out now, aren't ya? Mwahaha, later losers." Pokey then fell silent.
After allowing everybody to think, the silence was broken. "Anth, are you alright?" Paula asked.
"Why, I feel alright. I have no idea what it was that he did with me. I'll probably be alright." All of a sudden, a shadow being and an energy being materialized in the room.
"... So does this mean we gotta fight?"
"Yeah" Pokey answered. "Go ahead, boys! Finish em! But try to leave Anthadd and Paula alone." The two beings then roared a menacing roar, and started coming after the group.
The group took up a battle stance, while Mike walked towards the beings. "Great, another battle. But I know how I can end this."
Solitude stared at the two looming shadow and energy beasts, and only smiled.
Mike gawked. "I see nothing comical about the situation at hand. Except that I could take these guys in one blow..."
"Not likely. That proves how little you realize about group strength."
"I dun see how strength will help us now."
"No, I mean, Inner strength."
"Meaning?"
Solitude closed her eyes, and began to glow. "All of us has a divine force inside that wills us to do things, and comes out to warn us occasionaly. Every human has a piece of something greater than they know inside of them, and the ability to harness it is perceived as an incredible power."
"Wha?"
"Mira has already unleashed her inner strength. I am her inner piece of divinity, her soul, her life force. You must learn to trust your instincts!"
She pullled out a small instrument.
"Everyone! Listen!"
She sighed, and continued to glow. Putting her hands on the silver keys, she began to play.
Anthadd perked his ears up. "That song..that's my favorite song!"
"But..that's my song!"
Everyone seemed to hear the melody that meant the most to them. Paula leaned over to her. "What gives?"
Solitude looked at her. <Please, I am only communicating through my mind to you, since if I stop playing, all will be lost. This instument wil play the song that has a profound meaning to you, and only you will hear it. Concentrate on the music, and let your spirit be free!>
Everyone gathered together, and listened to the song in their heart. They all stood in a circle around, the enemy, and closed their eyes. Solitude raised her arms in the air, and everyone began to glow.
<Everyone! Realize who you are, and use the force within!>
Anthadd and Paula took on a whitish tint, and Solitude's aura remained black. Rockwell and Mike cast off a light grey glow, and everyone faced the enemy.
<NOW! Concentrate!>
Suddenly, Anthadd collapsed. Paula's glow strained as she screamed, looking at him.
<NO! We cannot help him! We cannot let go! CONCENTRATE!>
Paula cast a teary eye on Anthadd, and joined the circle once more.
Solitude raised her flute once more, and blasted out a single note. Rainbow energy came from everyone in the room, and blasted toward the enemy at high speed.
<DON'T LET GO!>

Anthadd floated through some odd, water-like substance.
He didn't know where he was, and he didn't know how the battle was going...
"I.... have.... to.... get... to.... my friends...." He used his entire mind's power, trying to burst out from the water...
But just as he was reaching it, he ran out of energy, and began to sink.

The blast of rainbow energy struck the enemy head on. They were destroyed. However, before anybody could stop concentrating and celebrate, the beings were recreated.
"What is going on?!" Paula cried out. Solitude kept playing, and burst after burst of rainbow-colored energy shot out. But every time the enemies were 'defeated' they were recreated. Minutes passed, when all of a sudden Mike's aura started glowing with a much more intense color.
"My friends! I know who these beings are! I just.. remembered. You can't take them out while attacking them directly. In order to defeat them, you must strike them both at the same time, as well as the one who summoned them. Therefore, we must focus our energies on the beings AS WELL AS Pokey." Solitude continued to play. The others, noting that they had nothing else to lose, utilized Mike's advice. They continued to concentrate, and let out a burst of energy that struck both beings, as well as Pokey. The beings, finally defeated, exploded in a brilliant flash of light. Pokey screamed.
"AUGH!!! You got me again! ... Erg... I'll get you guys. Just watch!" Pokey muttered before disappearing.
Solitude stopped playing and opened her eyes. "So, I sense that you have discovered your true self, Mike."
"Yes. But before we get into that, let's see if Anthadd is alright." Mike plainly noted.
The group agreed, and gathered around Anthadd. Luna jumped forth. "Stand back! I know various restorative techniques. The boarding school taught me CPR and whatnot." She started taking care of Anthadd. Mike walked off to the corner of the room.
Rockwell looked at sky, which has reverted back to normal. Mike looked up too.
"That was awesome. What do you think of me now Rockwell?" Mike said with a wide grin.
Rockwell walked away without so much of a purr.
"Fine, be that way. I hope you shed your fur soon." Mike said with a frustrated sigh.
Soon, Luna stopped giving CPR to Anthadd. Anthadd hasn't been revived yet. She was about to try again, but Solitude stopped her.
"Don't. It won't work. I was watching your aura, and it was getting weaker as you give each breath to him..." said Solitude.
Rockwell pushed Solitude gently, trying to tell her something. She got down, trying to understand him. But to no avail.
"I'm sorry, but I don't underst-" Solitude stopped speaking and then fell to the ground, exhausted.
Then everyone, except Luna and Anthadd, who remained in the same spot, rushed to Solitude's care. Rockwell, however, backed away and bumped into Luna, who stared at him.
"What happened?" said Paula.
Everyone looked at Rockwell. Rockwell didn't know what he did. In fear, he ran off, not knowing why he did. No one noticed that he was gone, except for Luna. But she looked away and watched Anthadd to monitor him.

Meanwhile...
"Excellent, excellent. Everything is going to the plan. Now, I can take out Rockwell and then soon, one by one, I will destroy them. It's remarkable on how they managed to defeat me... but united they stand, divided they fall..." Pokey laughed.
"Master, you didn't plan this." said one of his minion.
"Grr... didn't I told you not to interrupt me while I am plotting their demise?!" Pokey screamed at the top of his lung.
Then he raised his hand and killed off his minion.

Rockwell ran to a tree behind Apple Lab, and curled up under it.
"What did I do?" he mumbled to himself, shaking slightly. "what did I do? I can't go back now, they probably all hate me..."
"That's not true." Said a sharp voice from behind him. "Is that really you talking, or something.. someone else?"
Rockwell turned around, to stare at Luna, who was sitting on the grass behind him.
"Wh.. how'd you get here? And how can you understand what I'm saying!? I'm a cat!"
"I can speak with anything that has a soul, to make a long story short, everything."
"...why didn't you ever say anything about it, then!?"
"You guys never asked!"
"...oh, of course.."
"Rockwell, you didn't do anything wrong." Said Luna, smiling "You're not guilty of making Solitude collapse, if it's anyone's fault, it's Pokey's! Now c'mon, we'd better get back..."
"IF you can make it back!" said a sneering voice. "Oh goodie, I can wipe out two of the little birdies with one stone!"
"Hah! We're not in the middle of a street this time, fatso!" laughed Luna. "And you're standing under a tree!"
"What does that matter? What's the tree going to do!?" Taunted Pokey, totally unaware that the tree was descending on his head. "Fall on m... uhhhh!!" He crumpled under the weight of the tree, and fell down flat.
"Let's go!" Luna shouted at Rockwell, and both of them started running back to Apple Labo. "Oh, did I forget to mention that I can tell things to do stuff too?" she grinned.
Rockwell grinned a cat grin, and they kept running towards the Labo.

"... I dunno why, but I'm not feeling all that well. I'm going for a little walk." Mike said in a quiet voice. Nobody heard him. "Alright, later." Mike started to leave the lab just as Luna and Rockwell went back in.
"Mike, where are you going?" Luna asked.
"For a walk, I guess..." was all Mike managed to say before leaving.
"... Fine, be that way." was all Luna said. Rockwell stood just outside of the door, eyeing Mike as he walked away.
Mike started to walk to the South, toward the Two-Three tunnel. He passed the spot where Anthadd had used Centaurus Flare and ended up injuring himself.
"Hmm... I remember this place. Must have been a few days ago when I first came upon this place. I was different then..." Mike stated to nobody in particular. He stood there for a few minutes, at least until a bird landed on a fallen log. "Hello, birdie... didn't I see you not too long ago?"
The bird chirped, and then flew away. Mike watched it as it flew away. However, his attention was diverted to the sky. Wow, beautiful night... look at the stars. He looked at one set in particular, ones which were glowing with a greater intensity than the others. "Are those even stars? They look different from the others..." 5 enemies were beamed down from the sky, almost as if noticing the stars were a cue of some sort.
"Mmm... ... Mike?! We thought we defeated you!" Was what the leader of the group said.
"Do I kno- oh right, you, along with a couple hundred others, defeated me a long time ago, and banished me to this place, without my true memories... Of course, if we're going to fight, you will not defeat me. I am, after all, a guardian of sugemo, and the odds are entirely in my favor."
Before the enemies could even begin to make any kind of coordinated attack, Mike started to concentrate. "Centaurus Flare", Mike muttered. A brilliant flash of energy engulfed the other group, destroying all but two. "Very well, if you two wish to be stubborn..." Mike continued to concentrate, drawing upon the energy in the local area. The area itself started to waver, almost as if it were a sheet in a powerful breeze. He then stared at the two remaining beings, and with a nod of acceptance, the two beings disappeared into nothingness. "... ugh. I despise fighting. It always ends up taking a lot out of me..." The bird then returned, and landed on Mike's shoulder. "... Hello, birdie. What say we go back to the lab, eh?"
Mike casually meandered back to the lab after a couple hours of wandering and thinking, with the bird still on his shoulder. When he got to the lab, he noticed that Rockwell was still outside, and eyed Mike suspiciously once again. He walked into the lab, and was greeted by Paula. "Hello again, Mike. Where'd you go?"
Mike stared at Paula for a couple seconds before answering. "Well, I went for a little walk for a few hours, and found a little friend. That's about it". Mike deliberately left out the details about the fight. "Anyway, is Anthadd alright?"
"Well, he was thrashing around a bit. I needed to get Ness to use PSI Paralysis so we could get him into bed."
"Was he saying anything major?"
"No, nothing at all. His lips would move, but no sound would come out."

Great....
Now what am I supposed to do?...

Anthadd floated around in the murkiness that was no murkiness, the existence that was not an existence; the dream which was... oh, forget it.
Draco form, no, that wouldn't work. Sugemo... I can't focus. Stellar, too risky. PSI? No powerful abilities. Golf clubs: No use. All that's left is... my Dragon Armour!
"Drag*blurp*on Ar*splash*mour, acti*glurp*vate!"
First the gauntlets appeared, then the body armour, followed by the leg armour. The boots and helmet followed soon after. On the back of the gauntlets' hands, two outlets rose from the gauntlet. On the back of the body armour, two wing-like appendages extended. The helmet then covered the mouth, permitting uninterrupted speech.
He began to power his way out.

Mike and Paula stared at the bed where Anthadd lay. For some reason, the prone body was glowing. Glowing RED. Like a dragon's armour.
The body seemed to ignite, yet there was no fire.
Mike looked up at Luna. "What do we do?"
Luna raised her eyebrows. "You're asking me?"
Solitude waved her longbow around impatently.
"Something wrong?" "Yes, in fact. No one seems to remember that we have a limited amout of time to get this mission completed."
"Eh?"
"The sun IS collapsing, in case you've forgotten."
"Oh..er..yeah. that."
"We need to find a place where we can amplify our power. And I think I know who can help us there."
She arched her eyebrows at Luna, and Luna drew back. "I don't see how I am so important."
"You have the ability to contact the soul, correct?"
"Well, yes..but."
"On the planet, there is an ancient land where the clouds part, and the air is never dark. The sun streams through, and light is transformed into its most solid state ever recorded. Pokey would naturally find this energy incredibly powerful, and make it a goal to achieve."
Rockwell suddenly nodded, and leaped into Solitude's lap.
She smiled, and turned to Mike.
"Any imput?"
"Well, the Sky of Solid Light does exist. Where it is, you got me. It's a theory though, that only those can communicate with light have the ability to harness the power. Luna, that's where you come in."
"But what about Anthadd?"
"We shall wait for him to return. If he cannot awaken soon, however, we need to move."
"Then it's settled. We'll have to find the location of the Sky of Solid Light... but where do we start?" Mike asked. Rockwell said something in feline language, but no one was able to understand him, except Luna. Then everyone looked at her.
"He's saying we should go see Prince Poo." said Luna with a half frown, half smile.
Mike stared at her amazed and said, "You understood him?"
"Yes. Did you forget? I have the ability to speak to anyone with a soul." said Luna, looking down at the ground, not looking forward to taking on a huge responisbilty.
"Okay, how do we get there?" Paula asked.
"That's a good question..." said Mike with a concerned look.
Solitude looked at Dr. Andonuts and Jeff and then smiled.
"Do you guys have any type of invention that can teleport us?" She smiled.
"Um... maybe. But it will require some PSI to supply power to it. But it will be too risky, since it will leave the PSI user weak until he or she gets some health care." said Jeff with a concerned look.
"What if, we use a form of a PSI attack together?" asked Paula.
"Well, it will still have the same effect on those who do the attack. But the consquence will be less severe, unfortunately, not many of us know PSI. It seems that you are the only one in this group that know PSI moves." said Jeff.
Then Rockwell jumped out of Solitude's lap and looked at him. Jeff looked at him and then sneezed.
"Sorry, allergies." Jeff said as he sneezed.
"Rockwell is saying that he can't use PSI right now in his form, but he would like to know if it's possible to sap the energy out of him to fill up the power." said Luna.
"Well, it's tricky, but it's worth a try." said Jeff as he kneel in front of Rockwell while holding his nose with a handerkhief, "Are you sure though?"
Rockwell nodded and Jeff smiled.
"Okay guys! One teleport machine coming up!" Jeff shouted.
Dr. Andonuts and Jeff went to work together throughout the wee night. Soon, in the morning...

"First water, now fire. My mind's having fun, flashing my fears in front of me... one by one."
Now, Anthadd stood before a set of lava columns, erupting in a sequence. At the end of the columns, was the exit.
"I know this armour is heat resistant, but is it resistant enough? And if it isn't, will Anthdragn fit through that crevice?"
He thought about his friends: Solitude, Mike, Rockwell, Paula, Luna, Jeff... how were they doing?
"I'll take the risk. The armour will handle it."
Using the armour's flight capabilities to fly, he dodged all the columns. Except the last.
"Aaa!" he cried, falling to the churning lava below.

After stating something with a concerned look earlier that night, Mike wandered off into the corner, with bird on shoulder and everything. He just stood there for a while, staring at a poster of Einsteen (You read that right) that Apple kid had hung up to make the lab a much better place. He stood there and thought about things throughout the night.

** Mike's thoughts **
Hmm... isn't this just strange? It seems as if I'm supposed to be guarding something. And Anthadd has the stuff that I was supposed to be protecting... this entire thing is definitely not a coincidence. All these events... Maybe this was written .. in the stars?
I wonder who that one woman was who said something about the runes and me dying or something... Hmm...

** Out of thoughts **
Mike thought through the night, and into the early morning. He was brought back to reality by an explosion that shook the entire lab.
"What in the..?! oh. Finished, Jeff? doc?" Mike asked stoically.
Jeff and Dr. Andonuts walked out of the wreckage. "Yes, my boy, I think we did it!" Dr Andonuts stated.
"Yes, we did, Do... err... dad" Jeff stated.
"What was it you guys did, anyway?" Mike asked, wanting to see what was built.
"A teleporter, silly. See, this is where the energy will be focused... and this is where we stand. Of course, we aren't going to go until Rockwell is ready to start channeling his energy" Jeff stated matter-of-factly.
"Oh... hmm... well, I'm ready. Are you guys ready?" Mike asked the others. "Oh right, what about Anthadd?"
"Well, I'm going to stay behind and watch him closely." Dr. Andonuts stated. "So, just go when you wish. And if you go near the store, get a pack of donuts. I really, really, really want a donut."
"O... k..." Luna said. "Well Rockwell, are you ready?" Rockwell nodded. "Alright, come on guys! Let's do this!"
"Hang on, lemme give you something" Jeff said. "Here, take this. You can use this to hold the light once you find some of it. But be careful. This light is pure energy. It can burn and whatnot."
"Ok." Mike replied as he took the package. "I'll hang on to this. Come bird!" The bird flew and landed on Mike's shoulder. "C'mon Luna, Paula, Solitude, let's see what'll happen on this li'l trip". Before he stepped onto the teleporter, he grabbed a few odds and ends from the worktable. "Ya never know if this'll come in handy..."
The group walked onto the teleporter, awaiting the teleportation to actually happen. Rockwell got up and walked to the machine.
"Go it to it, kitty" Mike said.
Rockwell just stood there and blinked a cat-like blink.
"... good luck" Mike then said, and took a seat.
Rockwell then began to concentrate.

Flipping head over heels, Anthadd finally righted himself, and flew around the last lava flow to the gate.
Opening it, he was faced with a wondrous flash...

He woke up. He wasn't in his Dragon Armour anymore.
"Dr Andonuts? Where's everyone else?"
"They left already. If you'll wait here, I'll contact them for you."
"Fine with me." He sat down on a chair, and waited for the doctor to return with his friends' location.
