Gustav froze when he entered the hospital room. The policeman was pointing his weapon at bed where Everdred was, and a star-shaped creature was standing behind the policeman. The policeman turned to Gustav and grinned an evil smile. The policeman's eyes were empty of thought and his face seemed unnatural. The star-shaped creature vanished and the policeman raised his gun. Gustav threw his Oak bat at the policeman and knocked his gun out the window with a crash. The policeman grabbed Gustav's bat which was on the floor and swung it wildly around him, smashing everything in sight. In only a short time the walls were filled with dents from the policeman's attacks. The policeman didn't seem to be in control of his actions. Gustav barely avoided each attack and waited for a chance to strike back. Suddenly, the policeman stumbled on a cord and Gustav snatched the bat out of his hand. Then Gustav finished off the policeman with a SMAAAAAAAAAAAAASH and the policeman became unconscious.
Gustav ran over to Everdred and gasped. Everdred was mortally wounded and didn't have long to live.
"Who are you?" Everdred wheezed. "It doesn't matter. I am Everdred, the crime boss of Twoson. I came when I heard about a mysterious girl at this hospital and was surprised to find out it was Paula, as I knew her about twenty years ago. She is as youthful as ever, even though she should be almost thirty years old. Sorry I scared you like that *cough* and sorry I was so much trouble. I wanted to save Paula, but it looks like the youth have that job now. As my final request *wheeze* I ask you… revive Paula and find her friends… and make whoever is responsible for this pay… and… avenge me…"
Gustav shook Everdred, but he didn't respond. Gustav got up sadly and walked out the door as the doctor ran in. He checked Everdred's pulse and recoiled from the bed. Gustav simply walked out and went to the hotel to rest until tomorrow.

The next day, still depressed from the death of Everdred, Gustav wandered around town asking about Skylight Point. No one knew about it just as before, but everyone seemed to be excited about a famous musical group that was coming for Everdred's memorial. It was called the Runaway Five and they were planning on staying in Fiveson for a day or two. Gustav went to the theater, bought a ticket and watched with the crowd as the black van pulled up to the theater.
Gustav rushed in with everyone else but he couldn't find a seat anywhere. Every seat was taken and no one wanted to sit down on the gum-ridden floor. Gustav searched quickly around the auditorium until he found a door that was hard to notice at first. He opened it, expecting to find a flight of stairs that would lead to a balcony of some sort. Instead, he found the Runaway Five dressing room! The members introduced themselves when he came in and listened to his story.
"It isn't often we play for funerals since our music is so lively and exciting. I wish they could have called for another reason aside from the death of a crime boss. Since this is our hometown, we couldn't refuse to sing here." Said Lucky. Gustav asked whether or not they knew about Skylight Point. "Skylight Point?! You want to go there? It is at the top of a large hill a bit northwest of Fiveson. You need to go through a cave first but if you are strong and believe in yourself you can make it. Skylight Point is a strange place of mystic energy that brings the best out of a person. The police might have blocked it off but they might leave when we sing at the funeral. Use that time to get in there and get to Skylight Point." Gustav nodded and rushed out the door. "Man! That kid seems so familiar! Okay guys! Let's try that new song out again. Ah one, ah two, ah three…"

Gustav followed Lucky's directions and found a large cavern that was nestled in the woods, deep in a hillside. The police had blocked that place off too, and didn't look like they were planning on leaving anytime soon. As Gustav sat behind a boulder he noticed someone darting between the trees when the police looked in a different direction. Gustav followed the person and saw a vivid flash of red hair. Lou was also trying to get into the cavern! Gustav snuck up on Lou and made him jump two feet into the air in surprise.
"AAAAAAAAAAAGH! What did you do that for? The cops could have heard me!" Lou calmed down and crouched down behind a huge tree. "You want to go in there too, huh? Skylight Point? Never heard of it. Why did I come here? Well, I had a strange dream about you fighting someone or something that was really strong and I dreamt y-you... died. Then a girl's voice echoed the words 'Epsil Cavern… He needs you…' pretty strange huh? I never heard of Epsil Cavern before that dream came. What's your reason for coming here anyway?" Gustav explained the stories of Paula, Everdred and Lucky and said that something he needed was at Skylight Point. After listening for the entire story, Lou yawned.
"Pretty interesting. Wake me when the cops take off." Gustav sighed and watched the policemen pace around for hours. Suddenly, one of the policemen checked his watch and yelled something to the others and they got in their cars. They drove off quickly in a cloud of dust. Gustav shook Lou until he was awake and they entered the cave. Stalagmites on the floor were coated with a slight dampness and blue color while the stalactites on the ceiling were dry and had vivid scarlet shade on them. An odd moss grew on the walls and lit up the cavern with a soft, green glow. Small waterfalls trickled down into ponds, making the echos that filled the damp air.
Gustav and Lou traveled through the cave and found a rope bridge across a large stream. The bridge was old but it still held them up. They continued on for a few more hours until they began to grow exhausted. Soon, they began to notice that they were able to see better than before. They began to walk faster and the cavern began to get lighter. They scrambled up a steep slope and peeked over the top. They saw a large plateau and the exit out of Epsil Cavern only twenty yards away. Gustav and Lou sat down to rest from the long hike. Lou began to nod off until the ground began to shake violently.
"Cave-in!" Lou yelled and kneeled down, protecting his head. Gustav noticed that a huge boulder was moving toward them at an increasingly rapid rate. Gustav snatched Lou's shirt collar and yanked him away just as the boulder ran through the spot where Lou was a second before. Both of them watched as the boulder slowed to a stop and turned, showing off a smiling face. It grinned and rolled again, nearly smashing both boys. By then, Lou was awake and ready to fight.
"Gustav! Go to Skylight Point and get the thing you need! Then you can help me when you get back! Don't worry about me." Gustav nodded and ran right past the rock monster. Suddenly, the monster grew arms and legs and began to stomp right after Lou. It gave a SMAAAAAAAAASH-ing blow to Lou and sent him flying across the plateau.
Gustav ran out the exit and was blinded by the bright light of the midday sun. As his eyes adjusted, he gasped when he found he was toppling on the edge of a cliff. He tried to regain his balance but he fell to the hazy mist below and faded into the fog.
