A tree was burning and looked like one of the larger debris had hit it. Panicking animals raced everywhere still scared about the explosion at the lab that had happened yesterday. A rabbit leapt around frantically. It stopped and nibbled on some grass.CLANG!!! came a noise from the main heap of rubbish. The rabbit jumped up and turned around ready to defend it’s territory. The rabbit calmed. There was some slight movement from the rubbish. Another noise scared the rabbit away.

Ness pushed away a steel plate. The collapse had stripped Ness of his backpack and weapons except for his combat yo-yo his shirt was also torn a bit. Paula awakened from the loud clang.

"N..Ness..." She got out. Her face had been cut up a few times by glass shattering that Ness couldn’t block. She saw that Ness’s back had a few cuts on it also from glass. He turned at the sound of her soft voice. Ness reached down and picked Paula up.Paula yelped in pain.Ness looked at her wondering what was wrong.

"When you shielded me...as we fell to the ground my ankle twisted the wrong way and I think I may have fractured it."Paula said softly. Ness gasped

"Are you okay? Here let me help..."Ness picked her up and lay her on the ground. "Don’t move!" Ness climbed out. He reached in to the hole and grabbed Paula’s backpack and his own baseball cap. He put on his baseball cap and then started checking through Paula’s backpack for some sort of medical supplies. He finally found a first aid kit buried deep in the backpack. He took it out and went to work on Paula’s Aching leg.

Jeff awoke with a backpack strap in his mouth

"Phut!" He spat out the backpack strap and got up. he was in quite a large space but he was still underground.

"Ness!" He called throughout the large area, " Paula! Poo! Oh man where are they???"

"Hello?" Came a weak voice, "Help me..."

"Whazzat?!" Poo awoke with a start he awoke with two backpacks near him, Ness’ and his own. Poo was in a very confined are but he knew he was near the surface of the rubbish. He could see light shining through some cracks. Poo felt around and also found Ness’ bat. He took it and began digging away furiously at the ceiling. He was sure he heard Ness and Paula above. What had Ness said? Poo thought

"There how’s your leg now" Ness asked smiling with joy now that his favorite person in the world’s leg was going to be okay.

"I don’t care about my leg you’re very badly hurt turn around I need to pull some glass from your back or else it might get infected."

"Girls, always worrying and plus it’s not that hurt" Ness sighed as he turned around "Ah Ah ah ouch!"

Paula snarled at Ness’ comment.

Jeff raced forward to where he heard the voice. There was Matti under a huge boulder. Half his body crushed from the boulder for sure while the other half lay limp on the ground gasping to be helped.Jeff looked at the enormous boulder and then at Matti. Jeff realized it was useless to try and help him. the way his legs were crushed like that. so many vains would be crushed it would kill him faster if he were to pull him out.

"I’m sorry...I know you’re Ness’ dad and all but if I pull you out of there you’ll die faster then you would now. If I were to pull you out now you’d be lucky to live for a minute. But if I leave you here you ca-" Jeff was cut short by Matti

"That’s why I want out so I don’t have such a slow and painful death..."

"You mean you want to die?" Jeff said adjusting his glasses.

"Ye...hu" Matti gasped, " help hu........"

"Oh no what have I done!?" Jeff exclaimed under his breath. He had killed Matti. He had been standing on a rock witch had helped push the boulder down.

"Yeeeeouch!" Ness yelled as he flinched

"Stop It!!!" Paula yelled back at him

"That’s it no more I don’t want you to hurt me anymore then I already hurt." Ness Snarled nastily at Paula.

"Maybe I should just whack you over the head with my frying pan!" Paula said coldly to Ness.Ness then realized he had made a grave mistake. He was fighting with Paula.No he thought... what if...what if...

Jeff found a note in Matti’s hand. He checked it it wasn’t a note it was a crumpled up report.

"Project StarScream" Jeff read the title aloud. Jeff gasped. "This is what Giygas was talking about"

He read further on the paper. It said:

--Matti

"Astounding!" Jeff exclaimed, :I must tell Ness about this I think I just uncovered our question on what project starcream is... A plan to re-energize Giygas. But in order to do that he must activate the space station.Also, he must-"

"Come you or what ding ding" Came the voice of a Mr. saturn. Jeff turned to see the Mr. Saturn. He had dug a hole to the above.

"Alright!" Jeff raced to the hole and leapt up to above ground.

Poo had struck many rocks and moved around them. Finally he had a good hole to the surface. Poo leapt up to see Jeff standing there looking at two rocks about 3 meters away from eachother. Paula sat on one while Ness sat on the other. They had there backs to eachother. Paula’s eyes were filled up with tears. and Ness looked like he was sorry he just did not want to admit it.Poo had the same expression Jeff had on his face. The one that says "Did I miss something?"

Ness spoke he sounded a little choked up but he spoke none the less

"Hey you guys what’s up?"

"Uhhhh..." Jeff stood there looking at him dumbly

"Ness why are you and Pau..." Poo cut himself short

"Well Ness I came up with something very amazing!" Jeff said cleaning his glasses off and handing the wrinkled piece of paper to Ness. Ness read it. By now he had Jeff and Poo crowded in reading it around Ness. Paula shot a glance over at Ness to see what was happening. When Ness looked back she quickly turned around. Her face became red. Poo realized Ness’ had a very badly cut up shirt on and then he remembered something. Poo handed Ness’ Gutsy Bat and backpack to him.

"So we have to go in to space?" Ness asked slipping on his striped shirt.

"Precisely..."Jeff said with a slight smile coming across his face

"And how do you intend to do that?" Ness asked

"It’s quite easy but first we need to get in to a more open area. I’ve ran a scan of the entire area with my laptop and I need to get about 20 km from here. In other words you and Poo need to teleport us. It will probably be better if two parties go at the same time. It doesn’t cost as much PP and it doesn’t take as much room." Jeff explained. Ness nodded in agreement.

"Paula you come with me" Paula shot up from her stone and jumped back.

"No I’m going with Poo!" She ran over to Poo and got ready to teleport. Poo looked puzzled. Ness nodded at Jeff and the Poo and Paula’s small group teleported away.

"Ouch!" Jeff said

"What!" Ness yelled as if he was mad at Jeff

"You and Paula well you and Paula they...you...er...I mean"Jeff muttered.

Giygas walked in to the main control room on Space Station: StarScream. He walked up to the controls. He pressed a few buttons and a screen flashed up. Solar appeared on the screen. deactivated Starmen lay on Ness’ home planet that had been taken over by Starmen.

"I can’t believe such a strong boy comes from such a weak planet. I wonder what happened..." Giygas said to no one in particular. All of a sudden Everything came to him in a flash. Ness’s mother was human but his father was not. This creates something stronger then humans and the Solar’s It is a combination. The knowledge of the humans and the power and courage of a Solar.

"Hmm how could something gone wrong???" Dr. Andonuts had been saying nothing but this exact sentence for over a day now. He had been fiddling with the phase disorter. Trying to find Jeff’s frequency of his comm. link. Apple Kid saw that Andonuts was having trouble so he went over and kicked the Phase Disorter hard.BANG! The frequency jumped to Jeff’s and he heard his son.

"Andonuts, Andonuts do you read me this is Jeff"

"SON!"

"Dad I need your help I need you to see if you can upgrade the Phase Disorter to open portals?"

"You must of read my mind because I’ve been working on that feature and it’s done!"

"Good Open one to a secret Space station in the Saturn area..." Jeff spoke urgently in to the microphone. A pack of monsters had began to attack them and Ness and Poo were holding them off. Paula was useless in battle. She felt like an idiot for getting mad at Ness.

"All done you’re going to have to go in groups of 2 though to be safe."

"Right thanks Dad Over and Out!" Jeff put down the microphone and he quickly tinkered with his laptop. A portal opened.

"Yes!" Jeff said with a grin. Ness saw that the portal was open. Ness and Jeff leapt through it first. Paula stared at the portal dumbly. Ness went with Jeff...

The inside was huge. They were in the hanger area. They all ran upstairs. and finnaly reached the main control room. They saw Giygas. He whirled around.

"You!" He yelled. He leapt forward at Ness "It all ends right here right now Ness!" Ness dodged quickly he whirled around and shot a PSI Special at him. Giygas pulled a cartwheel out of the way and then he grinned evilly. He charged forward at Paula. Paula not knowing what to do just stood there and closed here eyes hoping that it was all just a nightmare.

"PAULA!!!NO!!!"Ness ran forward and leapt in front of Paula to shield here for the second time.

Giygas’ shot a magic that is something like a starstorm just very hyped up. Ness gasped and then Fell to the ground. Tears began to stream down Paula’s face. She bent down to Ness. Ness was alive and might be okay. but his life was in grave danger.

"Ness No No Ness..." Paula buried her face in Ness’s chest. Poo noticed a change in both Ness and Paula. They seemed to act more grown up. Jeff noticed it too. Ness lay there his eyes open he looked like he was seeing something far far away.

"I’m done here now to go to Solar!" Giygas laughed, "I knew Ness would do anything for that girl so I decided why not attack the girl."

"You’re not going anywhere" Poo snarled. Poo assumed his fighting position. Someone spoke to him in his head

"Your Mu training is complete you have shown true friendship."

Poo prepared to do battle alone against Giygas. Rage was welling up within Poo. Poo lunged forward at Giygas and slashed at him. Giygas dissapeared. Poo then dissapeared too.

"Astounding! They’re moving at an ultra high speed" Jeff sat looking at his computer. He used a special feature and it showed Poo and Giygas. fighting exactly what was happening at that moment. Giygas hadn’t landed any hits and Poo was landing a lot of kicks and punches but no sword blows. Poo flashed his sword in a great arc.

"Arrrrrrgh!" Giygas right tentacle had been chopped off. A silvery substance reformed his arm and then it turned black again. Giygas teleported away. Poo stood still in his fighting position with his sword in front of him. He was panting like a dog on a 50 degrees Celsius day. Poo raced over to Ness.Paula had cried herself to sleep in Ness’ chest. Ness was also fast asleep. He had his arm around Paula.Jeff looked at Poo.

"It’s gotta be hard on her. I don’t think Ness has much care for it because I ran some scans earlier and I told him that he would live for sure. But you know Paula... I’m afraid that if Ness gets hurt like this again she might not be able to take it. I think it was really lucky for Paula that Ness is here or else Paula would have been long gone."

Poo nodded in agreement.

"If you’re not in my life I mideswell kill myself!"Ness shouted. Paula froze and turned pale

"No don’t!" She raced back to Ness and grasped his hand
