One day Ness was peacefully sleeping in bed when his mom woke him up. Apple Kid was over for a visit. He was very fidgety. He was showing off a couple of his newest inventions to Ness, but the whole time he was sweating like a pig. He even screamed when Ness’s mom offered him orange juice. Ness finally decided that he should ask Apple Kid what was wrong. Apple Kid almost broke down in tears. He told Ness that Orange Hid had gone insane and built an army of creatures whom he named Orange Kidsteins. They had Kidnapped Paula and were threatening to destroy her if the whole world doesn’t worship him.
“You need to save her and the other citizens of Twoson,” Apple Kid sobbed out, “I was the only one to escape from Twoson.”
“How hard could it be to destroy a nerd like Orange Kid.”
“Didn’t you here me I told you that he built an army of Orange Kids.” Apple Kid said obviously frustrated, “Unfortunately he has also joined up with Pokey, and Pokey has brought an army of Starmen DX with him. Pokey is also obssesed with the idea that his parents loved Picky more than him. Whatever you do don’t underestimate Orange Kid and Pokey, especially since you don’t have Paula to help you.”
“This is unbeleivable, Pokey and Orange Kid aren’t brave enough to pull this off.”
“Well maybe they aren’t , but they are crazy enough to do it,” said Apple Kid.
“I guess that I should get the gang back together...... except for poor Paula.” Ness sadly said
“You can’t mope around forever Ness we have to get busy if we want to rescue Paula,” Apple Kid exclaimed, “Oh and another thing, we might have to bring Picky along with us so that Pokey can’t hurt him.”
“OK, he better not slow us down though.” Ness reluctantly said.
After convincing Picky that it was safer to go with them then to stay at home they teleported to Winters to get Jeff.
“Hey Ness its nice to see you,” said Jeff, “and guess what”
“What?”
“I have graduated from Snow Wood Boarding School, this means that I won’t have to suffer through another school lunch. I still can’t beleive that they served Tendakraut. Whoopee!”
“Thats good Jeff, but I am afraid that I have some bad news, Paula has been kidnapped by Orange Kid and Pokey,” Ness said somberly.
“You must be kidding, Orange Kid?!?!”
“Thats what I said, but then Apple Kid told me that Orange Kid had built a gigantic army of Orange Kidsteins, and Pokey brought an army of Starmen DX,” Ness replied.
“Hey whats Picky doing here?” asked a surprised Jeff
“Oh yeah him,” said Ness, “We had to bring him along so that he doesn’t get knocked off by his brother.”
“Lets hurry it up,” said Apple Kid, “We need to get going if we are going to save Paula and the rest of the world.”
They transported to Dalaam and were quickly hurried on to the next stage of their journey by Apple Kid.
They were on there way to saving Paula and the world from the evil hands of Pokey and Orange Kid. Once again their fate and the fate of the world was intertwined in a struggle to for humanity.

Ness, Jeff, Poo, Picky, and Apple Kid formed a motley crew, but they all were motivated to reach their one goal of rescuing Paula, and saving the world from the new threat posed by Orange Kid and Pokey and their accumulative armies. The gang was hurrying through the woods to get from Onett to Twoson when they saw it. The Ghost of Everdred. Ness never forgot Everdred, because for some strange reason he felt a certain bond with Everdred, despite the fact that Everdred was a common thief and Ness had saved the world. Now he was face to face with the Ghost of his friend Everdred.
“So Ness long time no see,” said Everdred, “I have to warn you of the dangers that lie ahead.”
“In part it is my fault that this sad tale is unfolding before our eyes,” Everdred began, “as I was leaving for Fourside with the Mani-Mani statue, Orange Kid stopped me and asked me for a suggestion to help him become famous. I told him, ‘No one will take you seriously until you do something big,’ that rotten kid said something like, “Do you mean destroying something great.’ I was walking away from him so I didn’t hear those prophetic words very well. I just said, ‘sure kid whatever you say,’ I had the chance to talk to him, but I was caught up in the idea of selling that statue in the big city for big bucks. I just didn’t take him seriously, and now look at what is happening.”
“Its not your fault Everdred,” said Ness, “Who would ever have imagined that Orange Kid would go crazy and try to take over the world. He was such a smart kid with good manners.”
“And my brother,” said Pokey sadly, “What could have driven him to do all of this, create all of this misery?”
It is called megalomania Picky,” answered Everdred, “Your brother, Giygas, and now Orange Kid they all had it. They want to take over the world to control, to control everything.”
“What did you have to tell us Everdred?” interrupted Jeff.
This is more than just you and our precious planet Earth. If Pokey and Orange Kid take over the world there is no telling what kind of havoc they would reek upon the universe. They are an awful combination of smarts, and believe it or not, while he was gone Pokey has become almost as powerful as Giygas was. Thankfully Pokey has many more weaknesses. It is my belief that it is Picky who holds the key to ending this new threat. For some reason. Pokey is very frightened of his brother. If you didn’t already realize it Poke has some mental problems. He can be reduced to nothing but a sobbing baby when he is reminded that as soon as he lost his job with Monotoli his dad abandoned him. This is Pokey’s biggest weakness.”
“Wow! so that must be what drove my brother to the edge,” said a thoroughly shocked Picky.
“I know that deep down Pokey isn’t that bad of a person,” said Ness, “there is still some good inside of him.”
“What you say may be true, but unfortunately all that he shows is his dark side,” said Everdred.
“Is that all,” Poo said impatiently.
“Yes, I wish you luck on your journey.”
Twoson was very dark, and nobody was at home. They had all disappeared.
“This is not good,” said Apple Kid as he tried to hold back tears.
“Don’t worry Apple Kid,” Jeff said trying to comfort him, “we are going to get everybody back”
“But how?” asked Picky
“Someway we will,” Ness coldly said, “somehow someway we will.”
“I hope that you are right Ness,” Poo said with a shiver. “Am I the only one who caught a chill there.”
“No,” said Ness, “get ready to fight for all that we believe in Pokey and Orange Kid will pay dearly for this careless massacre.”
The group was attacked by two Orange Kidsteins. The battle had begun. The group easily dispatched the two Orange Kidsteins. Picky all of a sudden learned PSI PP Plus.
“Whoa!” exclaimed Ness, “This means that we will never run out of PP again.”
“You know what you said back there about a ‘careless massacre’, well do you actually think that they have been killed,” Apple Kid asked nervously.
“At first I thought that everyone had just been kidnapped, but then I thought about what Everdred said, ‘unfortunately all that he shows is his darkside’ maybe he is just trying to prove something to us, maybe he is trying to show us that he is capable of taking a human life. When we fought him in the tunnel of time he really didn’t want to kill us.”
“Pokey would have killed us if he could then,” added Pokey, “I don't think that that kid has any good inside of him. I think thathe was bad from the day he was born.”
“But that is the problem,” Ness said, he really wasn’t all that bad when he was a little kid. Maybe a little disrespectful, but on the whole he wasn’t that bad of a kid.”
“I used to look up to my brother, but right before that stupid meteor crashed he started shirking his responsibilities as a brother, but it wasn’t until you left for Twoson that things really began to get strange. That meteor did something to my brother because I can tell you right now, that is not the brother who I loved when I was very young. It just isn’t the same person.”
At this point Picky began to break down in tears. Now everybody was beginning to question the cursed journey. What was it that they were looking for, an evil mad man or a scared little boy who is trying to free himself from that something that is controling his life.
