“Hey Paula?” “What Ness?” “Tomorrow, would you like to go to the theater with me?” “Sure, pick me up at five okay?” “Okay.” And with that Ness fell asleep he dreamed of the final battle he had with Giygas and this time there was something wrong… Giygas was talking to him. Not as the dream him, but the real him. “All this time you thought you had beaten me, your wrong, that was a test, Pokey was just a mere pawn of my bigger plan, this plan will ensure your doom…” Ness woke up with those words on his mind. He didn’t tell anyone, it was on their date that Paula felt the residual energy of Giygas emitting off of Ness. She looked at him and asked, “What happened last night?” “A dream that was much like a nightmare, he warned me that this was just a test of his “bigger plan” that will be happening soon.” Paula went to hold Nesses hand when she herself felt like she was being into this nightmare. “Paula what’s wrong? Paula?” “Ness, he spoke to me…” “We must warn Jeff and Poo.” So Ness and Paula teleport to Winters and Dalaam. “

Ness and Paula reach Winters when Tessie makes one of her rare appearances so they hitch a ride to south Winters and make their way to Dr. Andonuts lab. “Hey Dr. Andonuts. Is Jeff home?” “Yeah, he’s upstairs trying to improve his Gi,” BUZZZAP! “Let me guess, His Giai Beam?” “Yep, and Hi Paula.” “Hey guys, why are you here?” “Giygas…” “I thought we got rid of him…” “That was just a test.” “Crap, we are in some deep crap.” “No sh…” (Cough) “Ness, watch your language.” “Sorry, but leave to a genius to point out the obvious.” “Hey, lets go to Dallaam and get Poo.

“Poo You have felt the pain of many during your quest, but I am afraid that it is yet far from over…” “What do you mean, master?” “I mean that the evil one you call “Giygas” is back.” “We killed him though.” “No, that was merely a test.” “Your friends are at the palace waiting to tell you this. Back at the Palace…
“Poo, I’ve got some news.” “I know Giygas is back, my ancestor told me.” “Well he’s back in the cave of the past. And this time we will beat him.” “Let’s go.” “Ready?” says Ness. “Ready!” Yell Paula, Jeff, and Poo.
Cave of the Past.
“When those kids get here, I will attack them at any cost…” “They are coming here now I feel their energy now.” “Giygas, were are you hiding?” “I’m not hiding… I’m right behind you. Wahhh ha ha!” And with that Giygas pushes them off the ledge into the unknown depths of the pits. “I will rule the world.”
Apple of Enlightenments

“Hello young heroes…” “Ness was that you.” Stuttered Jeff. “No it was that Apple.” Said Poo “An apple Poo? How original is that?” “Ness, Jeff Poo’s right. Don’t you feel all that smooth energy?” “Wow so this is the so called Apple of Enlightenment? And are we dead?” “Yes and no, Ness, see you are in my chamber that exists in a world that does not exist.” “So we are neither living nor dead.” “Yes, and I fear that my prediction was wrong. You were to have beaten Giygas that day.” “What happened then.” “I don’t know.” “That’s why I’m going with you to that faithful night were you discover your destiny.” “As an Apple?” “No I will be the embodiment of a human.” “Will we know it’s you?” “Soon enough, soon enough.” With that the team of four disappeared along with the apple into reality…
Chapter 2. First
Sanctuary…
Onett.
On the outskirts of town a meteorite hurtles in to the peace suburban hills of Onett… “What was that? I wonder what that was, I better go check it out.” “Ness!” “What mom?” “The power’s out. Can you go reset the circuit breakers?” “Sure thing, Mom!” Ness gets dressed and headed down to flip the breakers. He then started to the hill in which the meteorite landed… “Hi, Mr. Lier.” “Hi, Ness.” “Do you know what happened?” “No, but your friend pokey is up there.” “Great. Bye.” “Bye.” “Pokey, what’s happening?” “Ness, leave this to the Cops, oops, I mean police.” “What ever, Porky.” “Shut up” “Bye”
Later that night… “Ness, get up.” “Dad?” “No, I am Daemon.” “How did you get in here?” “Pokey wants you to help him find picky.” (Bam, bam, bam.) Ness looks at the door. “How did… Where did you go?” “Ness, your friend is here.” “Great.” Ness decided to walk down stairs. “Ness, help me, I got to find Picky. If I don’t, my parents are going to kill me.” “Find picky or let you get killed?” “Not funny Ness.” “Ness, Just help Pokey.” “Fine but you owe me big. Okay?” “Yes, thank you.” (Bring, bring.) “Hello?” “Hi, Ness. How’s my big boy doing?” “Dad. Just fine. Why are you calling this early? It’s three in the mourning where here.” “Well were I am staying it’s only three in the afternoon.” “So why did you call?” “That meteorite is on the news and I was wondering if every one is okay.” “Everyone’s fine.” “Including Tracy?” “Including her.” “Well, Let me speak with mom.” “Okay. Mom, it’s Dad, he wants to speak to you.” “Okay, I’ll be right there.” “Him, Honey…” Ness and Pokey both bolt for the door in search of picky…
At the meteorite site… “Picky! Picky! Were are you?” “Over here Ness. Is Pokey with you?” “Hey, Stupid.” “Yeah.” “Hey, do you hear that?” “Hear what?” Buzzzzzz. “That! It sounds like a bee.” “A bee I am not!” “What it can speak!” “Yes, I am Buzz Buzz. Sent here from the future. I am to warn you. That four young men and one young woman will bring forth the destruction of an evil presence called Giygas. Ness you are the chosen one who will bring forth peace to my present, your future.” “Okay.” “Let’s go.” As the three boys and Buzz Buzz make their way down the hill, then they are stopped by a something…” “Buzz Buzz…” said a cold dark voice. “Starman Jr.” “Giygas has sent me here to stop you from completing your mission” “Umm, Ness, me and Picky will head home, so, bye!” “Don’t worry Ness, I’ll stay.” “Thanks Picky.” And with that Ness and picky prepare for battle as Pokey heads home…
“Shield Omega!” yelled Buzz Buzz. “Silly bee, protecting those inferior humans, you left your self open for attack. Fire epsilon!” “Nooo! Buzz Buzz! Your evil!” “No, UI am just a villain…” Ness not hearing this commences to beating the Starman Jr. to a small piece of tin. “Buzz Buzz, we won… Picky, go home.” “Okay.” As with that Ness and picky go to their separate ways… “Ness I was worried. Is everything all right?” “Buzz Buzz is dead.” “Buzz Buzz?” “Never mind. Good night mom.” Good night.” Ness getting ready for bed reaches his room only to lay down the bat when… “Hello Ness.” “Your back?” “Why yes, that battle with Starman Jr. was impressive.” “You saw that?” “Yes in fact I to come bearing news of Giygas.” “Really?” “Yes, and with what I have seen you do, you need more training.” “Great more bad news.” “No. You will have others by your side, along with the power of Gaia.” “Gaia?” “Gaia, Earth...” “Oh, okay, and how does this happen?” “You must travel to eight spots here on earth which will now be called “Your sanctuaries.” In order to gain the power needed to defeat Giygas.” “How am I supposed to gather the energy at these places?” “With this.” Daemon shows Ness a stone. “This is a sound stone. It will help you on your quest and I will go with to keep a watch on you…” “A stone, great I am going nuts, next thing I know that bat will start talking to me.” “Mock me if you will, just go to the giant step here in Onett and you will learn the simplicity of your destiny…” Ness then falls asleep… “Good Mourning big brother.” “Tracy! Leave my room now!” “Okay, I just wanted to tell you that my Job at Escargo Express starts today!” “Okay, good for you, now bye.” “Ness, get up.” “Okay mom.” As Ness steps out of bed, the sound stone drops to the floor. “What the? It was real?” “Ness, I need you to stop by the Library for some books.” “Will do mom!” Ness then headed to the library. “What books do you want?” Asked the librarian. “I need these books.” Ness hands her a list.” And a town map.” “Okay come back after five and pick them up.” “Bye.” Ness then heads to the arcade when a local gang member stops him. “Hey you.” “What do you want?” “I want your money kid.” “Great.” The gang member than takes his skate board and then swings it at Ness. “Ha, you missed, you now shall meet my bat.” Ness slams the bat into the gang members face and the gang member falls and hits the ground. “Don’t ever mess with Ness.” Ness then heads to the arcade were the gang known only as the sharks, leader is resting. “Who’s in charge?” “I am.” “And who are you?” “I am Frank. Frank Fly.” “Stop terrorizing the citizens of Onett.” “Why you conniving little brat.” As Frank said that he lunges at Ness with a knife. Ness swings the bat. Both of them hit each other, But Ness recovers quickly and hits frank again. “Kid, I want you to meet Frankystien mark 3.” A Large wooden robot rolls out from behind a bush. “I knew that lighter was going to come in handy later on.” “What?” Ness strolls up to FSM3 and sets it on fire. “No, my creation beaten so easily. Why? Kid go to the town hall and talk to the mayor. He will give you the key to a shed that leads to the giant step.” “What do I need up there?” “Some one just told me top say that.” “Who?” “I don’t know.” Ness heads towards city hall when the mayor is running towards him. “Are you’re the kid who beat the sharks?” “Yeah, why?” “Good, they were beginning to be a nuisance. You can have any thing you want. In fact, you can have the shack that was confiscated by the police!” “What shack?” “That shack that leads to the giant step.” “Ummm… Thanks?” The mayor hands Ness the key and Ness heads towards the shack. “Hello Ness.” “Daemon?” “Yeah, This is your first of eight sanctuaries that you must visit in order to defeat Giygas.” “What are you doing here?” “I am here to supervise you till the end.” “Why do you have to supervise me?” “My mission was to protect future, and I failed.” “What happened?” With that Daemon disappears into the dark. “Wait” Ness then finds his way through the cave. “Stop.” “What? Who are you?” “I am Titantic Ant. This is your first sanctuary and you must defeat me in order to obtain the melody of the giant foot step.” “Why can’t you just let me by?” “Because, Giygas has commanded me not to let you pass…” “Giygas can just go suck a lemon.” “PSI fire alpha.” Yelled the Ant. “PSI shield beta.” “What?” “I told you Ness I was to supervise you.” “Thanks, but why are you helping me now?” “Because, I can show you the way. I just can’t make you go the way I shown.” “What do you mean?” In the mean time the ant is trying all kinds of PSI attacks against Ness and Daemon. “Hold on…” Ness smashes the ant with the baseball bat and its head flies off. “Wow, your power is more impressive than I thought.” “How so I use this stone?” Ness shows Daemon the stone. “You hold that in the palm of your hand and close your eyes.” “What if it’s not working?” “You have to hold the stone close to the giant step.” “Oh.” Ness and Daemon walk towards the giant step. Ness than puts the stone in his palm and as he holds it over the giant step, he begins to hear music and sees a brief glimpse of a puppy. “Wow, I thought that was in a different place just now.” “That is the tune of the earth. The earth has eight melodies that will help you unlock your true power.” “The vision? What was that supposed to be?” “You will find out later on. You must go to Twonson to gain an ally.” “What is his name?” “Not him, but her…” Daemon than disappears into the cave as Ness wonders whether to trust Daemon or not.
“Should we tell him?” “No, Sophia. He has to do this on his own, we can only intervene when he needs our help.” “But the future…” “No, it is being written as we speak…”
“Hey kid.” “What do you want officer?” “Your trespassing on private property, you’re going to have to come with me down to the station.” “Yeah.” And Ness and the officer go to the station. “I caught this kid on private property...” “Rookie, this kid dispersed the sharks.” “Oh, well um…” “Well you’re going to let the kid go. Were are you needing to go?” “First the library, then home.” “Well if you ever need anything kid just tell me, okay.” “Okay.”
