Headnote: Before, I just narrated with Ness. Now, I will use the whole group to narrate. You will see the narrator’s name next to the chapter numbering. Just thought you’d like to know.

And so I ventured, never stopping except to eat or rest. I stopped for no more "friendly" people. Everyone has a fault! Cept’ me. I have no fault, and if I do, and don’t remember it, it must not matter.

I wonder how Paula is doing.

They were robots! Those liars! Trash!

We were in the cabin. Poo said, "If they were robots, Pokey must be back."

"Maybe not," Jeff said, "You never really know."

Poo replied, "Well, we’ll never find Ness just sitting here!"

"Well, what do you want to do!?"

"Find him, dork!"

"Dork!?"

"No, you are the most popular person in the world!"

"Shut up!"

I replied softly, "Stop fighting. L-let’s find h-him…"

It was snowing. I had to walk through the wretched snow. My feet felt like a thousand, thousand ice cubes. My teeth chattered more than a woodpecker. Suddenly, I collapsed in the snow.

The next thing I remember is that I was in a house. It was a log cabin, and a girl was standing over me. Her…she…some things are just too beautiful for words.

"Hi," she said in the loveliest voice, "My name is Joy. What’s yours?"

"Ness."

"Are you okay?"

"I’m fine. Just cold."

"And she’s hot," I thought.

Joy said, "Here, have this,"

She handed me a hot cookie. "Just baked," she added proudly.

I bit into it, and it was delicious! It was like, so good that it got rid of all my cold. Except for in my toes. I had lost my shoes. She walked into the kitchen.

"Joy?"

"Yes?"

"…thanks."

We were worried. We had found Ness’s shoes a half-hour ago. Jeff and Poo were again fighting.

"You can’t work a compass, face it, Poo!" Jeff yelled.

"Give me another try!"

I said slowly, "I think we’re lost, guys."

A jeep was tearing through the forest. It ore into our camp, and stopped. It was the park ranger! He said, "You are camping on illegal grounds."

Poo asked, "What are you going to do to us?"

"You’re going to jail,"

We laughed. Jeff giggled, "Good joke!"

"What joke?"

Her mountain home was beautiful. Joy’s, I mean. No TV, but who needs TV when you have Joy?

It was the afternoon. I was getting up the nerve to ask Joy something. Then, at lunch, I asked her, "Do you love me?"

She yelled, "Yes!"

I stared. "I mean, yes." She replied.

I hugged her. She said, "Ness, I loved you the moment I saw you!"

"Oh, me too!"

"Ness, you’re so sweet!"

We were watching the sunset. Joy asked, "Does the sunset make you think of our undying love?"

"Yes."

"Me too."

Our heads turned at the same time to look at each other. I already knew that we were going to.. we kissed.

"NESS!!!"

It was Paula!

We were in jail. It was getting late in the afternoon. The guards were switching and Poo said, "Come on!" and sliced the bars on the window with his sword. We jumped out, and headed towards Ness. There was a terrible storm that almost resulted in a casualty.

Poo had fainted. We flipped a coin for a difficult decision. It turned around in the air, shining its silver gleam...tails. Jeff put his head down reluctantly, but for a friend. Jeff delivered CPR to Poo in a very disgusted sort of way. We had to find quick shelter!

When we arrived at the cabin, a man said that there was a girl’s cabin not far of, maybe a mile. He gave us a bowl of hot soup, not very good I might add, and sent us off.

When we were a distance away from the house, I told Jeff, "I’ll keep going, Jeff. Take Poo back to the resort."

"Right. You’re right, Paula."

I walked what could either be the happiest or saddest steps of my life, I wasn’t sure then. I’m still not sure now. I saw the faint light of a candle up ahead. Ness was holding, something, no...someone. Ness was...!

Paula! And she saw...! With...! No! What was I gonna do? She saw me kissing with Joy! I was just out of ideas. Then, Joy and Paula said simultaneously, "Who is this?"

She made me feel a strange feeling. I had never remembered feeling it before. But of course, I didn’t remember a lot of things. Was it...love? Nah.

It was crazy! The girls constantly fought over the kitchen. Also, there was a silent war. They both wanted ME!!! Every point of free time they had was fought over me! I couldn’t stand it anymore!

I got to the ski resort’s medical center. They said he definitely had frostbite, an extremely bad case of frostbite. I would have to take partial care of him as he stayed at the center. There was nothing left to do, so I left for the empty cabin.

I could hear the TV on. I muttered to myself about how tremendous our bill was going to be. I opened to door to my room, where the TV was on. A girl was sitting there!
