Super Smash Bros. : The True Story Episode 2: Time to Train! Ness had to hurry to make the train in time. He'd gotten to caught up in the excitement about the tournament. He ran into the station. "Hold that train!" he yelled. "They can't stop sir." Said the woman who gave him his ticket. The train began to move. "Wait up!" Ness began to run faster. A man stuck his arm out of an open door. "Grab on kid." Ness leaped into the air and caught the man's hand. He was pulled in. "That was close." The man said. Ness was holding his knees and catching his breath. "Thanks, Mr..." Ness stood up and saw his rescuer. He was wearing a purple suit with a red bird printed on it. "Falcon, Captain Falcon." He answered as he offered Ness his hand. Ness shook it. "Ness. Nice to meet you." "I'm sure you've heard of me." Said Falcon. "Uhh...No. Not really." Answered Ness. "WHAT!? YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF ME,CAPTAIN FALCON, THE GREATEST F-ZERO RACER EVER!?" "Ummm, No." said Ness. "Well, just forget it. So, what are you going to the 64th avenue for?" asked Falcon. "I wanna register for the Smash Brothers Tournament." Explained Ness. Falcon began to laugh. "A puny runt like you? I'll crush you there. I'm going for the money. Who cares about games?" "I'm going for a game contract and I'm gonna win!" said Ness furiously. "We'll see." Said Falcon as he entered his cabin. A few minutes later Ness was in his cabin. "That Falcon thinks he's so hot. I'll toast him with my PK powers, Ha ha ha ha haaaa!" A knock came upon the door. "Come in." Ness said. "Dinner is ready in the dining car, sir" said a train attendant. "Okay, thank you." Answered Ness. Ness sat down at his own reserved booth. "Ah! My favorite. Steak, medium rare." Ness said. Just as Ness was ready to dig in, he heard a familiar voice. "You gonna eat these fries?" asked Falcon as he grabbed a hand full of Ness's side order. "Hey! Those are mine!" said Ness. "Did you ever hear of sharing?" asked Falcon sarcastically. "I've had enough of you." Said Ness as he stood up from his dinner. "Sir. Please leave Mr. Ness alone and return to your table." Said the car's attendant. Falcon grabbed the woman's hand and kissed it. "Why of course. Anything for you." He said. "Oh Mr. Falcon..." said the attendant as she blushed. "That guy is so full of himself." Said Ness as he continued his meal. "We have arrived at Avenue 64." Said an attendant over the intercom. "Finally." Ness said as he packed his back pack. Just before he got off the train, Falcon shoved him against the wall. "Oops. Sorry kiddo. Oh no!. Please don't hurt me!" said Falcon. He began to laugh histerically. "I'll show you at the tournament." Said Ness. When he got off he headed to the registration center. "Welcome, how can I help you?" said a woman at the counter. "Umm, yeah. I want to register for the tournament. I'm Ness, from EarthBound." Ness said as he handed his Nintendo Access Card to the woman. "Ohh, EarthBound. I'm a big fan. Go to the next room and wait please." "Okay thanks." Said Ness. "Next." Falcon stepped up to the counter. "I'll show him." Ness said to himself as he entered the other room. "Oh, F-Zero. I'm a big fan. Go to the next room please." Later, in the next room. "You people have come here to participate in the tournament. Not all of you will make it. Only twelve will be accepted and four alternates. Any questions?" Falcon raised his hand. "Yes. You, the man in the purple jump suit." "It's not a jump...never mind. How does an alternate get to participate?" asked Falcon. "If a fighter gets injured in a fight, gets sick, or for some reason can't fight, the alternate will take his or her place. Well, if there are no more questions, let's get to the testing." The group entered another room. "DK isn't good at testing." Said Donkey Kong. "It's not a school test. It's a fighting test." Said Link. "Oh good. DK is good at fighting." Said DK. To Be Continued in: "Pass the Test!"
