 It was Halloween night, Ness was getting ready to go to sleep. He decided not to go anywhere. He was to old to trick-or-treat, and there was nothing else to do on Halloween in the small town of Onett. 
 Ness was almost asleep when this bright lit up the town like it was day, then everything went back to normal. Ness got up and looked outside his window, there was still a faint glimmer of light near the woods by the side of town. Ness decided to check it out, so headed to the door.
 "Ness, you've decided to check out that light haven't you? Well, you'll sneak out anyways if I don't let you go, so just change out of your jammies and you can go." said Ness's mother.
 "Okay, mom." Ness said as he headed upstairs to change into his normal clothes and set out. Ness went out to the woods, and saw the light shining right in his eyes. Then he heard a faint voice...
 "Don't....go.....to....the....light...." said the faint voice. Ness realized this was a warning. He didn't care, he helped save the world, how hard could this be? He went straight forward, and-WHOOSH!!!!
 "What? Where am I? What happened?" Ness said. It seems he had been transported to a world with lanterns flying all around in midair.
 "HeheheheheHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! We were expecting you!" said a voice that seemed to come fromm the flying lanterns. Then, all of a sudden, all these ghosts appeared, revealing they had been holding the lanterns. Not just any ghosts, not the ones Ness fought, these were ghosts shaped like people.
 "Who are you?" said Ness.
 "We are a group af spiritual appiritions hired by Pokey Minch to destroy you. We were given a beautiful mansion in perfect condition to haunt! No more creaky floors, broken windows, and cracked walls for us!"
 "I can beat you in a second! I defeated an evil alien who was going to conquer earth, and also a group of ghosts and zombies that haunted the town of Threed!"
 "HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! You? Beat us? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Let's show 'em guys!" The ghost said. What followed was a series of loud sounds and bright lights. When it stopped, Ness felt weird, then-POOF!!!! He had been turned into a zombie. "HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!Send him to the zombie pit!" said the ghost as Ness was taken to a pit with many other zombies.
 "ATTENTION!!!! Now is time for your end, ugly zombies, I have a spell that kills undead like you!" said a different ghost as the others gathered behind him. "ELECTRIC DEMISE!!!" said the ghost as he let loose a great electric attack. It fried all the zombies but one, Ness! He was still wearing the Franklin Badge given to him by Paula. Then the attack went back at the ghosts, and since the attack centered on the undead, spirits, and formely living, it destroyed the ghosts. 
 "Wow!" Ness said as with the ghosts demise, so was the demise of the curse, and the strange world. Ness appeared back in the woods of Onett, normal as could be. Ness then realized that the reason he had been saved, was because of his friendship with Paula. He then realized friends were the most important thing there is, and decided to see them all again the next morning, after some well deserved sleep.
