The swarm of Starmen moved silently. Their steel armor gleamed in the light of the planet's moon, as they quickly passed through an alley and into the streets.

The supposed leader of this swarm, the taller of them and carrying a much larger weapon, looked around, scanning the area for other life forms. The technology that this robot possessed for a brain was much beyond anything that most planets have seen. Detecting body heat, heart rate and even brainwaves of other life forms, it was nearly impossible to hide from the Starmen swarm.

Coming from behind a large, brick building, and the Starman leader detected a small, faint heart beat, pumping extremely fast. The life form, most definitely human, was struggling to breathe at a normal rate.

The leader looked at the others, who nodded approvingly. They brought their large, steel arms into the air in front of them and prepared to fire the long, thin cannons attached to their arms by powerful magnets. The leader raised his arm into the air, giving the signal. A barrage of plasma was launched, and quickly pierced through the building and the citizen hiding behind it, ending its life in a mere second.

As the Starmen leader started to feel the heart rate of the life form slow to a stop, he turned back and with a stern nod of his head, the brigade of walking death machines, created by alien technology, crept back through the alley from which they had came and disappeared.

The entire street was a mess. Storefront windows were shattered and glass littered the sidewalk. Buildings were crumbling, with pieces of brick and metal scattered all over the sidewalks and the street. Cars were turned over, some were slowly burning with bright orange flame, and the devastation was massive. Dead human bodies lay in the street and on the walkways. There was no sign of anything alive in this area. The Starmen were elite-killing machines, and they had done their job with 100% success.

There was one question, however. Why? Why did these killing machines attack? What had given them the incentive for this genocidal attack? Maybe there isn't an answer.

Somewhere within this galaxy, the answer existed. And we, the human race, are searching. The war has been going on for years now. Some of use managed to escape to the colony above, but soon, not even the colony will be safe. We could only hold of the attacks of the alien forces for so long, soon, we won't have the resources necessary to run our weaponry and defense systems. What then?

Will we have to submit to the alien forces?

My name is Alexander Terminus. I am a leader of the Earth forces stationed in the colony of Eagle Eye. I was born in Eagleland, the land where the hero, Ness, went on a journey to defeat the evil power known as Gigyas. Gigyas is part of the race of aliens who created the Starmen and have wreaked havoc all over the universe for thousands of years. Some say Gigyas has returned, others say that our enemy is a new one.

Gigyas was a powerful force of evil, with the power of the Mani Mani statue to fulfill his deeds on Earth; he nearly defeated Ness and his friends. However, with the prayers of their families, friends and allies, Gigyas was destroyed. We have forgotten the art of prayer, through hard times, our faith was lost and prayer became useless to us. Besides, how can we defeat an enemy through prayer when we do not even know the identity of our enemy? It's like fighting blindly, just trying to survive.

This is a war that may affect the entire universe. This is a war we have to win. But how? Tommorow is a new day...
