~*FrEaK oUt*~ An EB Halloween Fanfic by PikaChan “NO! Absolutely, POSITIVELY not!!!” Ness shouted, his face bright red. “Oh, come on dear... SOMEONE has to take Tracy trick-or-treating...” his mom pleaded, a hopeful look in her eyes. “That’s cool, but.... I REFUSE to dress up as Ash Ketchum!!” Ness crossed his arms across his chest, his expression blank. Tracy, in her yellow Pikachu costume, scampered up to Ness, her eyes blurry. “Please, bubba? PleasepleasepleasepleasePLEEEEEEEASE?” Ness sighed, then gave in. “All RIGHT. But if I see Paula, or Jeff, or any of my other friends I’m gonna sic a Golem on you... ow!” He was cut off by a whack to the head with a rolled-up newspaper. [An hour later....] Ness pulled his cap over his eyes. He was determined not to be seen by anyone. He walked next to Tracy with his pillowcase slung over his shoulder. Tracy was happily skipping from house to house, everyone “aww”-ing at the cute little girl in the Pikachu suit. After a bit of walking, a girl in a sailor suit came up to them. “Is that you, Ness?” the girl asked. Ness pulled up his cap, and turned bright red. “P-P-P-Paula! Uhm... howzit goin’? Ehehehe....” Ness’s hand flew to his nose when he caught sight of her Sailor Venus costume, which showed quite a bit of leg. “Uhm, izzn’titkindacoldinthatcostume?” he stammered. “No, not really. You look really cute in that Ash costume,” she said, chortling. “I didn’t pick it out....” He leaned over to Paula. “Actually, my mom’s makin’ me take out the rodent...” he whispered. Paula giggled. “I don’t blame her, SOMEONE has to take her out...” “I thought you were on my side!” Ness blurted out. “Not tonight I’m not!” Paula said, holding in an earth-shattering amount of giggles. “Just great....” [Another hour later....] “Lookit, bubba! Lookit all of the candy I got!” Tracy squealed, waving her pumpkin bucket in Ness’s face. “Niiiice...” Ness muttered, sweatdrooping. “Hey... is that Apple Kid?!” Paula shouted, pointing to a kid running toward them. “Uhm... I think Apple Kid’s the only person I know who would dress up as Harry Potter...” Ness mumbled. “Ness! Paula! Heya!” Apple Kid said, running up to them. He had a pillowcase with some random peices of candy in the bottom. “Nice costume...” Ness said. Apple Kid’s hair was all messed up. He was holding a brromstick and a stuffed owl, he was wearing nerd goggles taped at the nose, and had a lightning bolt painted on his forehead. “You guys don’t look so bad yourself.... but uhm.... would you mind telling me why you’re dressed up as Ash Ketchum?” Apple Kid asked. Tracy started dancing around the group, shouting “Pika-piiiika! Piiiiikachuuuuu!!” A group of kids walking by saw this, and laughed. Ness pulled his cap over his eyes. “Hey guys!” a voice behind them said. It was Jeff, dressed as Albert Einstein. “Hi Jeff!” Paula said. Jeff took one look at Paula’s costume and held his hand to his nose. “Gah, why does everyone DO that?!” Paula said, sweatdropping. “Uh, I believe it’s the skirt...” Apple Kid muttered, covering his ears from the random ‘Pika-pika’ shouts. [ Half an hour later, after taking Tracy home... ] “You guys, I’m bored. Think we should teleport somewhere else?” Ness asked. “Yeah. I think we should go to Dalaam and get Poo,” Paula suggested. “Hey, that’s a good idea!” Ness said. He was then tackled from behind. Everyone jumped back. “Uhm, it looks like Poo was one step ahead of us,” Jeff said. Everyone looked down at the person in the samurai-ish costume. “That you, Poo?” Apple Kid asked. “Hai, it’s me,” Poo said, dusting off his costume. “Uhm... what are you supposed to be...?” Paula asked, scratching her head. “I got an inspiration for a costume after watching Digimon yesterday... think it suits me?” Poo asked, showing off his Shurimon costume. “Uhm, annyhoo...” Ness said, getting up and dusting himself off, “we were just going to go and get you, Poo.” “Heh... I figured you would, being that it just wouldn’t be the same without me....” Poo said, chortling. “Yeah, well... we were thinking of going to all of the places we went during out adventure...” Jeff said. “Ahh, I can’t. I’ve got a bunch of work to do at my house, I’m working on a string of no-burn-out-Christmas-lights,” Apple Kid said. “I’d better get back...” “Okay. Seeya later, Apple Kid,” Ness said. He walked off. “Well, where are we going to go first...?” Paula asked. They finally settled on Threed, where there were more ghosts and zombies out then there were when the town was controlled by Master Belch. They were only kids in costume, though. They went to Saturn Valley, where the Mr. Saturns loaded them up with Peanut Cheese Bars, circled around to Fourside, where Electra and Monotoli greeted them with Trout Yogurt. They went to the Dusty Dunes Desert, where the popsicles were free, and teleported to Summers, where everyone had better things to do than give them candy. They did, however, get some Magic Tarts from the captian’s wife. Then, they went to Winters, where there were cookies everywhere you looked, and to Dalaam, which mainly had rice and delisauce. They then went to Deep Darkness and Tenda Village, where they got loaded up with Tendakraut, and to the Lost Underworld, where they stocked up on Luzury Jerky and Magic Pudding. “Well, I’d say we made quite a night out of this, huh?” Ness said, dragging his pillowcase down the streets of Onett. “But there’s still one place we have to go...” Paula said. “Oh yeah! We haven’t made it to Starmen.Net yet!” Jeff said, snapping his fingers. “You think we should pay them a visit?” Poo asked. “Sounds good to me!” Ness said. Then, in unison, they all shouted “HAPPY HALLOWEEN, STARMEN.NET!!” ThE eNd
