Chapter 31

Act One: Omega of a Beast

Poo was wasting no time as he drew his sword of kings and charged straight after Giygas. Poo quickly took charge of their fight dicing Giygas in no time at all. Giygas quickly healed from Poo’s slashes but Poo was determined to defeat Giygas no matter the cost.

Unknowing to everyone else, Nolan and Ryan used the slight break to power up and big time. The two energies were climbing drastically as they seemed to be using their powers to their maximum now. “You’ll pay for what you just did! Now we have the duty to avenge one of our own. First thing about fighting all of us, don’t piss us off!” Nolan declared as he seemed to be preparing for something huge. “You will be the first to feel the power of this Godan and Giegue. You will fall, Shadow Body!” Nolan screamed at the top of his lungs as he started to seemingly cast illusions of himself. They quickly took a solid form though. “This should even the odds” said the one in the middle which still had the trench coat while the other two were in normal clothes.

“Even though you two may think of us to be weaker, we are of the same strength as the original and are independent of though. Meaning we are capable of three different types of attacking” said the one on the left.

“This means we will be able to use close range, mid-range, and long range assaults on you two. This is be fun” said the one on the right while cracking his knuckles.

The one in the middle quickly pull out two guns, this time looking to be much more powerful. The one on the right formed the light saber while the one on the left use Psi Holy Power Zeta and dawned Nolan’s golden armor. All three Nolans were ready to fight and started to attack immediately.

“Fate, Omega Heart!” screamed Ryan still in the air as he formed a PK Bomb in his hand then about another one hundred formed in three different sizes of circles behind Ryan. His target was Gorin and he was going to use his big gun, especially after what happened to Casie.

“Dave, how much longer until this barrier disappears” said Ness clenching his Gusty Bat just waiting to get back into the fray to avenge Casie.

“Since Poo just tore the thing up, maybe about thirty seconds until it runs out of power. Then we will get our vengeance” said Dave grabbing two swords waiting to charge head on into battle.

“I can’t wait” said Jeff with a fire in his eyes as he started to lay out the golden orbs he fought Mike with. “Once this thing goes down I’ll use Amplifier so be careful” said Jeff just getting ready to sync with those orbs.

“I help Nolan, well Nolans, out and try to do help crush the two he is facing right now” said Tom as the barrier went down. Ness went to Poo’s direction, Jeff to Ryan’s, Tom to Nolan’s, and Dave to Poo’s area as well.

Dave quickly looked to where Mike and Paula were and saw them just there like statues. Paula in prayer and Mike still unable to move well, “Don’t they care. Everyone is about to go all out and they are just being still as rocks. I’ll get them for this later” Dave thought to himself.

Ryan quickly launched his Omega Heart as the barrier fell. Started by just firing one PK Bomb at Gorin the in a continuous stream just pounding Gorin into the ground with extreme prejudice. Once the smoke cleared Jeff had activated Amplifier and unleashed ten gold orbs straight in Gorin direction firing lasers right at Gorin. Jeff then unleashed his Gamma Gun but missed as Gorin happened to move just as Jeff fired his blast of gamma radiation. Ryan seeing the opportunity present itself took his Masamune—not traditional, about a four foot blade with a six inch handle—and dive bombed straight for Gorin. Jeff seeing Ryan make his move withdrew his orbs just as Ryan sliced Gorin right in half. “That should stall him for a while, and you are?” said Ryan with some curiosity seeing the opening to ask a quick question.

“Jeff, you did a nice job on him there” said Jeff as he brought the orbs close to him.

“Well, it won’t last long because he’ll reform pretty quickly. I would suggest you get ready for an assault” said Ryan has he sheathed his sword.

“Already on it” Jeff quickly replied as he sent his orbs in to blast away at Gorin to stall as long as possible.

“Nolan, catch!” Tom yelled as he threw his Christ Blade to the Nolan who was using Holy Power.

“The sixth sword, this should even things up” that Nolan thought to himself as he caught the sword and quickly continued his onslaught on Godan. For about a minute the three Nolans started a three way fight on Giegue and Godan the quickly tipped to Nolan’s side. The first one attacked Giegue with the light saber and because of that energy sword’s natural ability to expand and condense at will, it gave Nolan a tactical advantage that he quickly took advantage of. The Nolan using Holy Power was absolutely crushing Godan blow for blow. Everything Godan tried to do Nolan quickly interrupted with tremendous speed. He saw what had happened to Casie and was not going to let what happened to her happen to anyone else. The first two were bad enough for Giegue and Godan to handle for a while. The third had taken the fight to a new level. He was using a wide assortment of guns and weapons to fight long range and stop any advantage Godan and Giegue could even get. Guns, lasers, bombs, grenades, anything a person could think of in a modern armory he had for some odd reason. It was highly effective in stalling and hurting Giegue and Godan. Now with Tom in the mix as well, things got interesting and quick.

“I see you could use another person here Nolan” said Tom to the one with the Christ Blade in hand. Tom quickly neutralized any of Godan’s remaining advantages with his style. If there was a Shadow Art outside of the three unique techniques—Body, Mind, and Movement—Tom knew it. Tom quickly slashed Godan then grabbed his human form by the throat and threw him by his throat, taking Godan’s trachea right out. Tom then proceeded to run right over to Godan who was face first on the ground and continue the pounding. In one touch of Tom’s hand, he paralyzed Godan and proceeded to dice Godan’s entire body. Normally Tom is not this cruel to anyone, but since Godan is not human and what just happened to Casie, he threw his morals out the window. With Godan down and hurting, the Nolan with the Christ Blade saw the chance for annihilation of Godan right there. If it didn’t kill Godan, it would definitely disable him for quite a while.

“This one is for Casie” thought the Nolan in the gold armor as he raised his hand to the sky seeming to prepare his ultimate attack.

The remaining two Nolan’s were absolutely dominating the fight with Giegue. When one Nolan seemed to retreat from Giegue, the other commenced another attack with completely different tactics. If dealing with long range and close to mid-range attacks wasn’t enough to contain Giegue, the Nolans’ shear natural powers were enough to stop Giegue in his tracks anyhow. “What is this human? I see why he was able to match Godan at his highest level of power just as a single entity but now, there are…” before Giegue could even finish the thought he got a hard punch to the face from the Nolan using the light saber. That Nolan the preceded put the light saber right into Giegue and left it there. He then quickly retreated as the Nolan with the trench coat on preceded to take off his trench coat.

“You might be wondering why how I’m able to use such a broad range of weapons let alone carry them in one trench coat. I’ve been given most of my weapons and haven’t begun to use the majority of them let alone my most lethal ones” said Nolan but Giegue could not reply riding in absolute pain from the light saber the other Nolan had put right through him. “You may have realized this by now but I also have and incredible amount of natural power. I’m also quite the gifted telekinetic as you are about to find out through this Fate!” the Nolan without his trench coat on harshly explained to Giegue. “This is what I consider to be complete overkill but for you, it will be just enough to disable you for a while. This taps into a human’s heart, allowing them to protect anything that they choose!” as that Nolan said that his trench coat started to just spew weapons. It was impossible, at least with common logic, to have that much of a natural armory inside a tiny little coat. Most national militaries do not even come close to the amount of weaponry that Nolan’s jacket was just spewing out. “I won’t even explain to you how I have this much of an armory” said Nolan as he started to arrange the weapons into a tightly compacted wall of weapons with the only hole big enough for Nolan to stand in. “I would suggest everyone move right now!” said Nolan as when he looked at Giegue all of the weapons took aim right at Giegue. Everyone who was in a hundred feet, Tom and the other two Nolan’s, moved. “Star Arsenal, Fire!” screamed that Nolan as he fired every weapon in that tremendously huge wall at once.

“This Fate taps into the power of the Heavens, Godan. I’m sure you remember it from last time, Final Power!” said the Nolan with his hand still in the air as he summoned his Final Power while the other Nolan used Star Arsenal on Giegue. Anyone who looked to the sky could now see little dots of light starting to approach the area where everyone was fighting.

“Giygas! You will die!” Poo screamed as his eyes were blood shot with pure rage.

“My God, I’ve never seen Poo this angry before. I don’t even know where all of this power came from but whatever Poo is attempting to do. He better do it now before any of these four Horsemen of Apocalypse find a way to beat us. The emotion of the moment has empowered everyone to their maximum but, it won’t last long and if we don’t finish this now they will gain the advantage once again” Ness thought himself as he saw Poo accomplish feats that Ness didn’t even think the human body could do as Poo beat Giygas into the ground. Every punch, kick, or energy blast Giygas threw at Poo, Poo quickly countered with his own kick, punch, or dodged Giygas’s energy blast since Giygas could counter any form of energy. Poo easily had the advantage and showed it.

“Come on Giygas, don’t you have anymore power than that, or did you use it all when you killed Casie?!” Poo screamed as he went to slash Giygas with the sword of kings with everything he had but Giygas dodged and started to approach Poo like he did Casie, and Poo had no time to dodge.

“No you don’t Giygas!” said Ness as he wound up with his bat and struck Giygas and hard. Giygas went flying from the shockwave that Ness’s hit had caused. Ness was not going to let anyone fall to the same fate as Casie.

“Don’t let your rage and grief from Casie’s death blind you Poo. Giygas played you for the fool and almost got you in the same way” Poo shook in head calmly showing that he had regained control of his anger and was ready to fight again.

“Touching that you would help a friend from your group ness but you didn’t help Casie. Am I detecting jealousy towards the Destined Ones as you just let one of them die!” Giygas yelled as he was trying to hit Ness’s heart and not his body.

“Don’t even try it Giygas. I know your going to try and play head games with me but it won’t work. You tried that last time and it didn’t work either. Just give up, you will not have the chance to take the life of another ever again!” Ness screamed as he just disappeared in a flash with Poo. The next thing Giygas saw was a volley of arrows flying straight towards him.

“That’s why they vanished. They wanted that Horseman of Power to use that attack again, only this time I can’t…” Giygas could not finish his thought as about ten arrows went right through his body. Dave was pulling back the string of his bow but this time he had loaded his Avalon Sword onto it and shot it right through a stunned Giygas. Giygas started to quickly heal and Ness and Poo started a tandem assault consisting of alternating and simultaneous attacks to just keep Giygas from being able to counter. Giygas was reeling after about five minutes as this as Ness looked over and saw two of the Nolan’s using Fates.

“That’s some serious overkill! Poo, didn’t you say that using Fates during Shadow Body would end the Shadow Body Fate once the others had completed!” Ness screamed in surprise as he landed another hit on Giygas.

“Yeah, I did. Nolan is taking a big risk right now using those Fates. He’s going to be completely drained once he recombines into one entity”” said Poo as move out of the way to let Dave slash away at Giygas with his Soul Blade. Dave quickly cut Giygas a few times with some very deep slashes. Giygas quickly recovered from the slashes and went straight after Dave, Ness, and Poo once again.

“Don’t they ever stop coming” said Dave wondering if everything they were doing was even going to work against the four Horsemen of Apocalypse since they just kept coming back after every blow they dealt to them.

After the dots of light in the sky bombarded Godan as they were spheres of energy from the Heavens summoned by Nolan, and Giegue got drilled by Nolan’s Star Arsenal, the three Nolans recombined into one entity since after two Fates at once, Nolan could no longer hold Shadow Body. Nolan was now in his armor summoned from Holy Power but that quickly dissipated as well as Nolan was completely drained of all of his power. He was on his hands and knees sweating and breathing very heavily as he looked at Casie’s dead body. He wondered even with everything he just did would it be enough stop the Horsemen of Apocalypse in their tracks.

Everyone had finished they’re fights with one of the Horsemen of Apocalypse and all seven of them were feeling it. Ryan couldn’t fly anymore, something he did very easily with little effort. Jeff could no longer use the orbs meaning his Amplifier had worn off. Dave couldn’t move his arms any longer as they were cramped and locked up from their over use. Poo was having a hard time standing as a side-effect from the adrenaline rush he had just ended. Ness’s arms were numb from all the hits he had landed with his Gusty Bat and how much recoil he was feeling from them. Tom was just exhausted after using every trick he knew from the Shadow Arts and just physical strain from that level of output. All the while, Paula was still praying, and Mike still could not stand up to even fight. “I have one more minute. What in God’s name is Paula doing though?! She should have been fighting with everyone else. Instead she’s just been praying. Prayer has only caused dashed hopes and dreams because people wanted a quick fix to their problems in life. They wanted a miracle, and we could use one of those right now. Why aren’t you fighting Paula? Actions can only prevent these four from destroying us, and not prayer. If you weren’t praying, Casie would still be alive because you could have helped her!” Mike thought to himself as tears rolled down his eyes as one of his friends was now dead. He was stunned as he knew it might as well end now since Casie was dead. They needed all four Horsemen of Light to defeat the four Horsemen of Apocalypse, and now there were only three.

“You won’t defeat all four of all that easily” said Giegue as he rising from healing himself after Nolan’s Star Arsenal. The other three were also rising back to the feet of their human forms as everyone else had looks of despair seeing that everything they did did nothing. Not even a drop in their energy, they were just growing stronger. Their energy didn’t even drop one bit, yet they were all drained. What was everyone to do now? All that everyone saw was an extremely bright flash of light as the four Horsemen of Apocalypse looked to finish off the seven they had just fought.

The strange thing was that after the light had died out. All four only had half of their human forms left even if that. Someone had just used a massive energy attack to incinerate all four of the Horsemen of Apocalypse quite easily and no one knew even where it came from. Only Giygas could see who had fired it, and he couldn’t even move in complete disbelief of what he just saw.

“It’s impossible! You can’t use that type of attack in your state. You shouldn’t even be standing there!” Giygas screamed with a loud and thunderous roar as he couldn’t believe who was standing there.

“It takes more than that to finish me off Giygas! Did you honestly think that I would fall that easily. Think again! I would have fallen if a certain someone didn’t help me” said a familiar voice. It was a girl’s voice and it sounded ticked.

“There is no way…good Lord. That’s why she was praying earlier before all of that chaos begun. It has to be, there’s no other way” Mike thought to himself as he was now ale to see what was going on since he was not that close to the bright flash of light so he recovered his eyesight first. “It’s healed. Finally, just look like you’re not in any condition to fight right now Mike because your energy is just starting to come back into your body now. So only strike when you feel you can give it your all and that means once I can use all my energy again.”

“That’s right Giygas! I’m back. It’s me, Casie!” Casie stated as everyone who just heard that statement as taken aback.

“It worked. I can’t believe it worked Mike” said Paula as she smiled as her eyes opened.

“What worked Paula?” Mike as stared at Paula with a strange look.

“I have the ability to call to the Heavens for help and they do listen to me. This one was special though, since I used my body as a medium this time. I can pray and those prayers are heard. This one was a Fate intertwined with it actually. I call it God’s Will and it’s why Casie is alive right now. While Casie was in Giygas’s Omnistrife I was in prayer trying to use my technique and once I felt my body being used to keep Casie alive I was hoping that it would work. It did work. She had a minimal amount of blood in her body and very little left period after Giygas finished her off. My God’s Will had kept her alive after the attack and it hyper-accelerated the healing process, as it seems, as she seems to have made a full recovery and then some. She’s seems to have been given a temporary supercharge as well, since she seems to have just used a Fate without powering up” said Paula with a smile on her face as she started to fall backwards but caught herself with her hands as she started to breathe heavily. “My body being used as a medium was exhausting though. I’m having a hard time even staying awake I’m so tired right now. Mike, we need to leave here. It’s not time yet, the final battle to decide if the time of Rapture is not now. You need to do something to stall so we can get out of here” said Paula as feel closed her eyes and fell asleep.

“So, that’s what you were doing. That Fate gives whoever feels its power a full recovery from any injuries no matter how severe then it goes further and gives them a supercharge. Looks like I can rest for just a little bit more then” Mike thought to himself as he smiled seeing there was still hope. “Casie, show them what the true master Psi can do!”

“How it possible that you’re alive?!” said Ness quivering in absolute fear trying to even comprehend how it was even possible. Poo just fainted from the shock. The jaws of Jeff, Tom, Nolan, Ryan, and Dave all dropped and hit the ground which was two feet away.

“I need to extend my thanks to your girlfriend Ness. She is really a piece of work being able to do what she did. She foresaw all of this and used her prayer ability. When I was caught in that Hell which was Omnistrife, I thought I was dead. Paula communicated telepathically with me and told me not to worry. I wondered why while the life was being sucked out of me. When Giygas threw to the ground and I lost all of that blood, I found it weird that my heart was still beating. She then said to me, ‘Everything will be alright. Casie, this is called my prayer ability in which I can communicate with the Heavens for help. I’m using a Fate with this technique called God’s Will which will use my body as a medium to heal your body. A supercharge might result as well.’ I didn’t know it then but she was right. She started to use God’s Will when Giygas had me to keep me alive then Paula worked her magic. As you guys exhausted yourselves, I was already figuring out a way to attack them all at once. When I saw every one of you sitting there, I saw my chance and used Quantum Flash to stall for time” said Casie as the jaws were still on the ground.

“Casie, if that supercharge as given you anything to use against those four, use it now. They’ll be completely reformed in a moment and we are just a little worn out for the moment” said Ness as he was still breathing heavily just trying to think of a way out of this.

“I already have. I have only used this twice, and both times it’s tipped the fight into our favor. It’s a Fate of the Forbidden class, the strongest Fates of them all. Only ten exist and I can use one of them. It allows me to summon a Mana Beast, as I’m sure you’ve already been told everything by Mike and Tom. I’ll spare the details. Unity!” Casie screamed as a massive wave of energy started to flow through her body. She had synchronized her heart beat to all of the energy around her which sent her power flying off the scale. This would allow her to summon any Mana Beast of her choosing, and she knew just which one to use. “I think I have an idea of how to finally beat you four. This won’t kill you since a Mana Beast that strong doesn’t exist. But this one will ensure that you won’t mess with us again! Atlas, arise!”

Everyone who could stand right then and there just ran. If they couldn’t run, they picked up someone and took them with them. Everyone knew enough about ancient mythology to know who Atlas was. He was the Titan strong enough to hold up the entire world. He was huge as well and could easily smite the four Horsemen of Apocalypse. “Mike, come on man. We gotta go. We don’t know what this thing will do to this place. Let alone how powerful it is! Mike come on, we got to leave this area before we both die!” Jeff yelled as he shook Mike like a rag doll, but Mike just had this weird look on his face. Mike seemed like he wanted to stay and watch this. He eyes looked awestruck as he didn’t reply. He just shook his hand in a no motion, pointed to Jeff, and pointed away from the area. He wanted Jeff to run if he wanted to, but Mike wanted to stay.

“Is he crazy? Jeff just run! Let Mike watch if he wants to but you need to get out of here. I’m sure if there is anyone who could survive any type of hits from whatever Atlas is Mike can do it. His armor has even completely regenerated if you haven’t noticed! Just get moving!” Ness screamed as he picked up the now sleeping Paula as he ran off with her in his arms.

The ground soon shook violently as Atlas started to come towards the area. He didn’t come from the ground or appear magically. All that you knew what was coming were the thunderous steps so far away but so powerful that they could hear and the shaking of the ground from those steps. No one could even see him yet and he was still shaking the earth beneath everyone. When he did appear, Godan, Giygas, Giegue, and Gorin all took a step back as they had caught a glimpse of what was starting to approach them. Atlas followed all of the descriptions of ancient mythology and so much more. He was maybe two miles away but he was covering the distance like nothing as he slowly approached, at least for him. Casie just grinned as she knew what she had just done. Atlas was about three hundred feet tall and extremely muscular. If that wasn’t intimidating enough, he was also carrying a huge boulder attached to chains. Those massive chains covered his entire body and had to weigh over one million tons. If he were to speak, his voice would probably have been so deep and loud as to bring everyone down to their knees from its deafening power. “Good to see that you came Atlas. Those four right there are your targets. Do whatever you like to them” Casie said with a smirk on her face so big that anyone could see it.

Atlas quickly punched Giygas and completely obliterated ninety percent of his body without any effort. Gorin quickly tried his Black Hole Omega but that failed when Atlas looked at him and kicked him sending Gorin flying for maybe miles. Giegue showed his strength by actually picking up Atlas and throwing him about one hundred yards but Atlas just got right up as if it was nothing. Atlas then put down his boulder and took off his chains. The ground just shook from the impact of those chains falling to the ground. Giygas quickly reformed and put his human form hand on Atlas and tried Omnistrife but it didn’t even affect Atlas as Giygas was quickly punched and started to reform in his disgusting manner once again as he was nearly obliterated. Everything the four Horsemen of Apocalypse tried did not work as Atlas just kept up the beating. Oddly enough, he never touched Godan as Godan had a smirk on his face as big as Casie’s right now. It had been about ten minutes and nothing was working but Godan still had that smirk on his face and still hadn’t been touched once. The other three were actually starting to tire from the slaughter that Atlas had been inflicting on them. Casie just then noticed that Godan had not been touched and was actually smiling. “Why are you smiling? You should been riding in gut-wrenching pain as Atlas should be beating any life out of you” Casie screamed as she could not believe that someone was smiling while their comrades were getting a punishment worse than they could even receive in the darkest pits of Hell.

“Casie, Casie, Casie, why do you think I’m the Horsemen of Death” said Godan with an evil laugh. “This puny thing you call a Mana Beast is no match for me. I’ll show you why” said Godan as he started to change. Godan was going to his true form as the sky went black and lightning started to rain about three times a second. A cold and stinging wind started to howl as he was changing. Casie’s smile went to a look of horror as Godan was approaching his true form. Godan’s size compared to that of Atlas has he just keep growing. Atlas couldn’t help but notice what was going on and took a step back feeling Godan’s horrendous power. His power was so dreadful that even Ness and the other, who were at least a good thousand feet away if not more away from all of this, felt his power. Mike just had that same look on his face as he started to stand for some unknown reason. His head was facing the ground as he showed no emotion as to what was going on. He looked deep in thought and seemed to be preparing for something.

Godan’s red mist like form took some shape as he surrounded Atlas. He let out an ear-piercingly high and loud shriek that sounded like that of all the bats in Hell put together. Atlas covered his ears and used his chains to try and insulate against Godan’s shriek but it was no use. Godan then said “Psi Oblivion Omega!” in that same shriek and summoned a frightening amount of energy and blasted Atlas with all of it. In about three seconds, Godan had done what was thought to be impossible, he had killed one of the most powerful Mana Beasts. Atlas was thought to be immortal but now it looked as if he never existed as Godan reverted to his human form. “Your beast was still no match for me you foolish little girl. It may have made my brothers retreat because they could not contend with him even in their true forms and current level of power. He was just another victim of my law to me” Godan said as he let out an evil laugh as he knew he had just beaten Casie and now he could finish the job.

“Guys, we better get back over there. Look, I know we don’t have much power left but after Ness’s Lifeup Omegas we can at least attack Godan physically. If anyone can use a Fate, I would suggest doing so now” said Tom as everyone was at least awake and walking normally after Ness had used his powers to revive everyone.

“Got any healing items anyone” said Nolan as he was looking to see if he had anything to revive their minds enough to use psychic abilities again.

“I have this, but it only has enough energy for one use. I would suggest we allow the most powerful person we have here to use it. We need to give this to someone who can contend with Godan’s immense power. It’s a miniature revitalization machine. It will revive anyone completely” Jeff stated everyone started to look at Nolan but Nolan look at Ness.

“Nolan, why are you looking at Ness?” said Dave with a look of confusion on his face.

“He would be the only one to be able to contend with that level of power. I’m not a Horseman for one. I believe that a Horseman should fight a Horseman to be honest. Ness, you also seem to be an even match for Godan anyway” said Nolan.

“Nolan, my pendant’s pointing to you when I try to find the strongest out of all of all though” said Dave trying to convince Nolan to go.

“Ness hasn’t even begun to realize his true power yet Dave. I want him to go and face Godan for those very reasons” Nolan said with confidence.

“Jeff, we don’t have time to argue. Just give me the thing and I’ll go” said Ness with a determined look on his face.

“Ness, come back alive or I’ll kill you” said Paula.

“Agreed” said Ness with a slight laugh and smile as he took the machine and activated it.

Chapter 32

Act One: The Hands of Time

After three minutes of basking in the glory of his defeat of Atlas, Godan turned his eyes to Casie. “Now that your best is gone, I will finish you off this time. No one will be able to save you this time” said Godan as he methodically walked towards Casie. Casie tried to run, but Godan caught up with her and appeared right in front of her after Casie only got in three strides.

“Now, you…” Godan never got to finish off Casie. Ness had appeared right before Godan tried anything and hit Godan with his new Rockin’ Omega. Ness looked fully revived and ready to go another round.

“Casie, go to the others. I’ll take care of things here” said Ness as Casie shook her head and ran as fast as she could. She took a quick glimpse at Mike just standing there with his head facing the ground as she ran off. She looked confused as to why he hadn’t gone with the others, but was too worried to care as she was more worried about her life.

“I don’t know how you were able to recover so quickly but I don’t care. I’ll destroy you instead of the little punk girl” said Godan as he got up and stared at Ness dead in the eyes.

“Let’s just see if you can do that after using all of that energy to destroy Atlas” said Ness as he took his Gusty Bat in hand and charged Godan at full speed. Ness swung his bat at full power but Godan easily blocked it with one hand as Ness continued to swing with everything he had. Every time he made contact with Godan, Godan would be unaffected by Ness’s powerful swings of his bat. Ness was done playing games with his bat and quickly used Rockin’ Omega again and Godan definitely went a few feet backwards as ness’s psychokinetic powers prove to be more than Godan could handle almost at point blank range. The fight raged on for five minutes as Godan was toying with Ness as everything Ness did seemed to do nothing against Godan.

Godan quickly got sick of his toying around of Ness and hit Ness right in the gut stopping Ness dead in his tracks as he grabbed his stomach trying to breathe again. Ness completely had the wind knocked out of him as Godan put his hand right in front of Ness as Ness knew what was coming next, Psi Oblivion Omega. Godan never formed the energy to use it though as an incredible flash of light and shockwave hit both Ness and Godan, Godan mainly. It sent Godan flying as he could believe the energy expelled by someone in the distance. Mike then appeared right in front of Ness.

“Hey there Ness, sorry it took me so long to get involved but I guess better late then never right?” said Mike jokingly.

“How did you? When did you? How could you have done something like that? You never had a Psi attack that powerful with the exception of time speeder when I fought you” said Ness mystified by the power Mike just unleashed.

“It’s called Psi Galatical Omega. I’ve never used that level before so I didn’t know the effects of the shockwave. At least I can still target whoever I want to, and I’ll explain it to you later. Ness, I’ll take it from here. I should be able to contend with Godan and get out of here. You get the others out of here right now and go somewhere but don’t tell me, so Godan won’t know” said Mike as he pointed for Ness to leave.

“No, listen Mike. I don’t care if you are psychically linked to Godan and can read his every move. He has you out classed in every way. Strength, speed, tactics, absolutely everything he has you beat in. Mike, you saw what he did to Atlas. What if he does that to you?” Ness said with a huge amount of worry in his voice.

“Ness, I can still beat him. I think this natural ability of mine has no tact, so I never use it. You’re right in saying that I can read every move he has. That takes time and time I don’t have. What if I could predict his move before he ever made them?” said Mike as Ness looked at Mike with a look that said “What do you mean before he thinks about it?”

“What is it then?” said Ness.

Mike quickly drew his sword out of his quiver and pressed the button on it’s handle. Ness suddenly saw Mike’s reformed Titan’s armor disappear, since Mike still had his hands exposed because the clothing Tom gave him covered the rest of the Titan’s armor. Ness then saw something on Mike’s hands that he never saw before. Mike’s hands were covered in blood and charred black so he never saw the tattoos that were on Mike’s hands before because Mike always wore gloves. “I know what you’re thinking. One, why disband my armor. Two, what are those tattoos on my hands? Well, I’ll answer this quickly. My special ability is if I touch anyone with my bare hands I can read their aura to perfection. Their aura will react in certain ways with certain position and such allowing me to predict their every move before they even think about it. I have only used this when I don’t have a speed advantage which has only happened twice until now. Both times, the fights have ended in under one minute which won’t be the case here. Secondly, these things on my hands just appeared out of nowhere, I don’t know what they mean” said Mike as he saw Godan starting to rise. “You should leave now Ness. I’ll be fine. If worse comes to wear I’ll teleport to some random area and meet up with you later.”

“But Mike, I’m not going to…”

“Look Ness, just go” Mike said in an extremely stern voice. “I know I don’t have glasses right now but, I can still barely make Godan out. I hope he doesn’t catch on that I’m fighting blind for the most part or, I’m dead” Mike thought to himself as he felt something be placed into his hand.

“Like I was going to say before you interrupted me. I’m not going to let you fight Godan blind. Your mom said you might need these” said Ness as me let go of the new glasses he placed into Mike’s hand.

“Thanks,” said Mike as he put his new glasses on. “Now go”.

“Mike, just come back alive” said Ness as he ran off seeing Godan fully erect on his feet now.

“I’m surprised horseman. I didn’t think you had mastered the Omega level of that technique yet, let alone able to use it with your powers drained. I’ve should have known better than to underestimate you. Still, this fight will be over in less than five of your Earth minutes” said Godan looking at Mike fed up with his antics. Godan knew Mike hadn’t been trying by just reading his mind, and had played him for the fool by clearing his mind. He also knew Mike’s plan, and vice versa.

Godan charged first trying to knock out Mike in one blow, Mike quickly dodged and counter with a kick. This was quickly blocked as Mike was thrown a good distance but Mike stopped himself in mid-air showing that he had mastered Ryan’s flying/levitation technique. Mike quickly placed his feet on solid ground and ran full speed trying to get his hands on Godan knowing that would give him an advantage. Godan quickly dodged and grabbed Mike’s arm. Mike quickly turned around and touched Godan with his left hand smiling in the process. “Bye, bye” said Mike as he started to form an ball of energy in his left hand. “Psi Northern Lights Al….AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Mike screamed in agonizing pain as Godan broke his right arm.

“That should neutralize you for a while” said Godan as he charged forward to Mike while he was in pain. Godan tried to take advantage of breaking Mike’s concentration but soon found out how good Mike’s ability was when he vanished. “Where did he go? These sort of tricks aren’t his usual tactics and that was so fast I couldn’t read his…” Godan quickly turned around and blasted a ball of energy straight at Mike who had step aside so fast that he was already fifty yards behind Godan. Mike quickly vanished again this time drawing back even further, still holding his broken right arm in agonizing pain. Godan could read Mike’s every move as he thought of it and was trying to keep up with Mike, but Mike was predicting even faster.

“Haven’t you realized by now you can’t hit me. I know every move you will make before you even think of it. That aura gives off such a unique energy that it makes you even easier to read” said Mike triumphantly while still in agonizing pain.

Godan started to form an extra large energy ball in his hands knowing that Mike could not dodge something so big too quickly or he would be hit. When Godan threw the ball Mike did nothing, but just stand there. Godan at this point read his mind and read a last minute dodge. Godan moved into position to strike Mike, but Mike still was not moving. As the energy ball approached Mike he smiled and held out his left hand as to catch the ball. In this case, it was to absorb it. “He tricked me! He concentrated so much on one thought that he took my attention away from all the rest” as Mike absorbed the massive amount of energy his grin got even bigger.

“I knew that would work. Humans have an interesting ability to cloud their mind if needed. You completely looked over that fact and fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Now that I got all the energy I need to heal my arm that you broke. I think it’s time I show you how pain this much energy can inflict! Psi Counter Omega!” Mike screamed at the end of his sentence as he threw what energy he did not absorb right back at Godan. It was a direct hit. “I was waiting for you to screw up like that and use something big. Now to finish you off and ship you somewhere else, Psi Dragon Omega!” Mike screamed preparing to fire his most familiar technique right at Godan. Nothing happened though. “What the? Let’s try this again, Psi Dragon Omega!” Still, nothing happened. “Okay, then I’m booking it outta here while he’s still down. Psi Light Warp Alpha!” Nothing happened again. Mike tried several times as he was starting to panic. He couldn’t use the first psychic abilities he ever learned.

“That’s how you escaped. You use your telepathy to transmit the information about your powers to others. That collar did more than use electric shock to stop you from escaping. It also erased all information transferred from one person’s brain to another through telepathy from the source. Meaning you can’t use some of your powers anymore” Godan laughed seeing that Mike could no longer tap into some of his best techniques which included light warp. Mike had just lost his escape route.

Mike quickly filled with anger and reached his boiling point and beyond in under a second. Usually Mike needs to obtain control before a certain something kicks off. This time, the ragin’ finale Fate kicked off on its own because of Mike’s anger towards himself and Godan. Mike could not believe he had fallen for such an obvious trick, and that anyone was evil enough to take something like that away from anyone. Mike’s anger had reached new levels to a completely out of control one. Mike’s unstable nature truly surface and Mike had tunnel vision with just one thought, destroy Godan. “Psi Phoenix Zeta!” Mike screamed in pure rage as his body was quickly engulfed in flames and formed his Phoenix form around his body. “You will pay with what you have done to me Godan” Mike said in a rage as he took to the skies.

Godan quickly tried to attack Mike but could not catch Mike as he was flying at maximum speed. Mike quickly went on the offensive by throwing flames at Godan from every direction. Godan easily dodge and started throwing spear-like projectiles right at Mike but they just fell to the ground once they hit Mike. “Nova!” screamed Mike as he unleashed an assault like no other. His phoenix form fired feathers like missiles, fire rained from the sky engulfing the ground in flames, and engulfed Godan in flames by just looking at him. Everything Mike did just then was meant for Godan. It worked enough that Godan was at least stunned and Mike was going to finish him off before flying home. “Okay, kamikaze!” screamed Mike as he seemed to be doing a suicide run straight for Godan.

Godan quickly reformed his body in a most gruesome manner and caught Mike right in his dive bomb for Godan. Godan then smiled, “Psi Oblivion Omega!” Godan used his ultimate on Mike after he read his mind and predicted Mike’s attack perfectly. Mike screamed in agony louder than Casie did earlier because of the pain. Mike flew horizontally at supersonic speed and crashed into a house in Phoenix. His Phoenix formed disappeared right afterwards, but Mike was still trying to get up, even though it was painful to even move after Godan had just done what he did. “I see that Phoenix form of yours saved your life by providing some protection for your body. Not this time! Psi Oblivion Omega!” Godan screamed as he was dealing the finish blow to Mike.

“Darn, it just had to be one of the twelve otherwise I could through it back” Mike thought to himself as he saw Godan do another Oblivion. When Godan saw the attack stop, it should have dissipated when it hit Mike or at least it should have held Mike and then destroyed him. None of that happened though.

“Hey Godan, I too have a special ability like Mike. I can deflect any form of energy with this bat! That includes something as intense as Oblivion!” Ness screamed as Godan saw it was Ness who had intercepted Psi Oblivion Omega at the last moment to save Mike. “Here, take your energy and your ass and get off this planet!” Ness yelled as he sent the energy flying right back at Godan. Once it hit Godan, he let out a large shriek and disappeared. “I should have known that would have been one of the twelve you were vulnerable to.”

“Why…are you…still here?” Mike said slowly in a soft tone as he tried to get up.

“I told everyone else to go back and that I would stay, just in case. It’s a good thing I did too. We beat them for now thanks to everyone’s help. We should go home and rest for now. They won’t bother us again for a while and we’ll get you treated” said Ness as Mike struggled to let out his hand for some help up. Ness put Mike on his back and teleported out of the area. “Act One is over with our victory. I wonder if Act Two will prove to be the same” Ness though to himself as he started to teleport.
