Chapter 13
A Knight’s Honor
“This is
“I have to pay my tributes to them. For what they did for my ancestors, they
deserve my eternal respect. I have heard
stories from my mother that they all look the same and all have the name Mr.
Saturn. Is that true?” Dave asked
“Yes it is, now you go do your thing. I have to pull some stuff out of the two
destined ones here.”
“Sure thing
“Now that he’s gone, Casie, Tom, you have a lot to start
telling us, I mean now. Michael never
seemed like the type to fess up to everything.
He’s still hiding something from me and I know it. What has he told you two?” said
“Not much, believe it or not. I know Ryan and Nolan know something but they
won’t even cough up any details. I’ll let
Tom give you all the details.”
“To be quite honest, Mike is usually very quiet about
what he really thinks. He implies
something in everything he says. When he
nearly went insane after coming out of his coma, all he spoke in was that
double tongue. I went to see him but I
couldn’t understand a word he said. It
sacred all of us, we thought he was done for by a fate even he considered worse
than death. Something seemed odd though. When Ryan visited him, before he himself was
discharge after he healed, Mike told Ryan something that has made us think, at
least me, Casie, and Ryan, think otherwise.
He said Mike screamed at one point of their conversation ‘All are one
and one is all, that which we have we do not know, the Apocalypse shall rise
and death shall come, a knight will fall and the scars of that knight will be
blessed anew!’ is what his exact words were.
None of us have questioned him yet, mainly because his experience was so
dramatic. We know he meant something by
this, but not even the psychologists there were able to even decipher what he
meant by that. With Dave here though, I
think something might come about, he might be the knight Mike was talking
about.”
“What does this have to do with anything though? Mike was insane at that point correct,
right? So who says it wasn’t jibberish
then?” asked Poo.
“I’m glad you asked me that. Mike knows something, and he has only told
Nolan and Ryan. I’ve tried to get it out
of them but they won’t say anything to me.
They’ve known Mike the longest and would probably know what he meant by
that. I can’t even get a word out of
them. I’m even taken aback by this, the
only reason me and Casie even have a clue about what’s going on here is because
of this,” Tom hands Paula a scroll, “Mike read this before going into his
coma. We have suspected the strain of
infinity end is not what caused Mike’s coma, but this might be the cause, the
shock of whatever that reads!”
“The language is alien though, how could Mike have ever
know what this meant if the language doesn’t even exist on this planet!” said
Paula.
“That’s my point, he had a look of terror in his eyes
right after glancing at that thing. I
will never forget that look, Godan dropped that thing and Mike picked it up
then he opened it. He went into his coma
at that point. Mike told me of the
horseman’s curse but that doesn’t explain how he knew that language.”
“That’s how Mike and Godan are psychically linked
right? Mike mentioned it briefly went he
was explaining things to me and
“Exactly, Mike and Godan know each other too well. They can’t drain knowledge out of each
other’s heads though, they can only know current thoughts and presence, and
Mike has tried before and failed, not to mention Mike would had to of retained
an entire language after Godan was destroyed and had to recognize it
immediately. Meaning, we are as clueless
as you guys with what’s going on here and I don’t like it. All we can do is trust Mike right now.”
“I hate to say it but Tom’s right. We have to put our faith in one person right
now and hope he knows what he’s doing at moment. After all, Mike did not lie to us, but we
know he is withholding some serious information. Maybe Jeff can get something out of him, at
least I hope so” Paula stated with some tears in her eyes. All of a sudden she got a shocked look in her
eyes and started to tear up a little, “I have to be alone right now, I’m
sorry.”
“
“Not a clue, she seemed fine just a moment ago. If she’s like this though, I don’t want to do
anything harmful so I’ll just stay back awhile and see what’s up when she has
calmed down.”
“It’s your decision
“My pleasure <It would be best if
<Okay, I wonder if I should go after Paula. If I go to
see her I could make her worse since I don’t have a clue what’s wrong, she’s a
little unstable when she’s that upset.
I’ll just tag along then and see what’s wrong then and console her if I
can.>
Meanwhile, Dave was visiting the Mr. Saturn and found
everything the way his mother had told him it would be like. He felt honored to even be there, as would
anyone after a mysterious race saved a culture from extinction. When Dave made it up to the

lost, can I help you with something, boing!”
said a passing Mr. Saturn.
“Yes, could you show me the way to the Milky Well that is
here. I can’t seem to find it anywhere,
could you please show me the way” Dave said while kneeling with his face facing
the ground, an Avalonian gesture of respect.
“Please,
get up, Zoom! There is no need for any,
boing, of that. I see you are Avalonian
though. What brings you here, Zoom?” Mr. Saturn
said.
“I wanted to pay homage to you people for what you did
for my ancestors long ago. I must repay
you in some way. My mother and father
came up here once right when they got married, so I also felt that I should
come up here for them. They were the
Evangales, if you were wondering who they were.”
“Oh
yes! You’re the Zoom young Evangale boy they spoke of about thirteen
years boing ago. They said if you ever
to come here, to give you something, zoom!
Come, Boing I’ll give you thing first then I’ll take you to the Milky Well.” explained the Mr. Saturn.
<What?!
Something from my parents, they’ve been dead for the last 6 years. How is it possible that they made something
for me long ago? They only came here
once, to my knowledge, and if that time frame is right. My mother was still pregnant with me at the
time. There has to be an

“Can I see where this thing is at? I mean I’m somewhat anxious to see it after
all.”
“Sure,
I can understand why you must feel the way you do, Boing. I will take you there now” the Mr. Saturn stated. Dave didn’t have a clue of what in the heck
was going on right now. He just wanted

Once they arrived at the Mr. Saturn’s hut, he quickly
waddled over to a small closest where he brought out a present. “They said to give you this if you ever came here,
Zoom! I do not know what lies inside,
boing, so go ahead and open it, zoom.
“Could
you leave me alone right now? I might
become a little emotional if something happens.”
“sure,
zoom! Enjoy, boing!” said the Mr. Saturn as he left Dave alone.
Dave slowly opened the present looking package. His eyes caught something very quickly, he
saw portable video player with something inside it. He saw the plug matched a design with holes
in the wall and figured that was the outlet for the plug. When he plugged it in, he saw a pause video
with his parents on it. It took him a
while to find out where the play button was on the thing in his excitement to
find out what this was. When he hit the
play button, this is what he saw and heard.
“Hello David, if you are watching this you are probably
wondering what this is. Call it a
message from the grave. Your father and
I have some important things to you right now about everything that has happened
to you so far” Dave saw his mother and never realized how beautiful she was at
her prime. He could see that she was
still pregnant with him, about eight months he guess. She had long brown hair with a beautiful face
and a great voice. He missed her so much
along with his father. Dave had never
realized how much he looked like his father until now. Now he knew where he got his built form
from. He was built like a tank in his
prime with short brown hair, the exact same style hair cut as his own. He had his mother’s brown eyes as well. He had his mother’s height though, at only
the tender age of just turning fourteen, around Paula’s age he guessed, he was
only 4’ 11” but amazingly powerful for his size. His eyes were glued to the video. He could concentrate on nothing else.
“I suppose you are wondering how we know about you and
knew that we would be dead at this time.
Unfortunately, that is the price I pay for my gift of clairvoyance. I have seen what will happen to you up until
this point in time, and your mother and I as well. We know we have you as a boy Dave, and I hope
you can understand what is going on with you by now. You are the savior that Zumon spoke of and
our people have spoke of since Giegue destroyed Avalon and was defeated. I do not know the outcome of the trails you
will soon face. I’m sorry son. I can only see so far” said Dave’s father.
“Its okay honey, it will be alright. He has seen up until the point you will meet
Mike, the horseman of time.
Unfortunately, we won’t tell you how you meet up with him finally. We fear too much information about the future
will interfere with the unfolding of events which could be bad. We will only tell what has happened to you up
until the point when you are watching this and slightly beyond. Including on how we will we die, our
son. I’m sorry you will have to hear
like this, but we can’t prevent this. We
just aren’t strong enough to help it, no matter how hard we try. It will happen when you are about seven or
eight years old. You see, Godan had long
been on this planet before even before Giygas will descend on to it. He will find out about you that you’re the
horseman of power. He knew of the tales
and knew of Mike as well as you. He will
suppress Mike’s power by ripping him apart emotionally in just elementary
schooling. He’s plans on destroying you
directly David. We will go out on a hunt
one day when Godan will strike us down.
He will then have his minions look for you but he will never find you
because our house will be underground at that time. When you find us, please don’t cry like I am
right now. Just give us a proper burial
and we will be happy.”
Dave’s mother and father had told him everything. That he was the savior Zumon spoke of so long
ago. He also learned finally learned
what happened to his parents. He
couldn’t stop crying for a year when that happened. They were killed by the harsh storm that came
about when they went hunting. They
weren’t food for the scavengers. They
were murdered. Dave sat there in tears
remember having to dig their graves with his bear hands in the frozen
soil. To this day he has never gotten
over what has happened to them. He was
only an eight year old boy when it happened to him! Only eight years old, yet Godan had the cruel
heart to do something worst to him than what he did to Michael. He took the only other two people he knew
away from him, his flesh and blood at only eight years old. He now had two scores to settle to avenge his
parents and his ancestry. Dave then notice
the video had popped up at one last moment with his father on it. Dave shed his tears quickly and turned his
head quickly to the video out of respect.
His father and mother had appeared again. “In inside this present box Dave, you will
find a weapon that will help you destroy those monsters! Use it wisely my son. For us, your friends, and all others who have
lived here now and in the future! Strike
them down!” That was the last words his
mother had planned for Dave to ever hear.
Dave was crying so hard at this moment he didn’t even
care anymore. He couldn’t believe his parents
had just accepted their fate. He just
couldn’t believe it. They knew all
along. “Mom… Dad… whatever this weapon
is I will take it by my decision to get justice for you, not revenge! Revenge will only fuel the fire to what they
have done to you and everyone else in this universe! I swear on my very soul that I will do
everything I can to hold up my obligation as the horseman of power! Mom… Dad… I will honor your sacrifices with
every piece of being that you blessed me with!
Let the heavens grant me the power to wield this weapon with great
power. I will never let another fall as
long as I have… this!!!” screamed Dave with tears rolling down his eyes
still. With all his might he pulled out
the weapon that lay inside the box. He
withdrew a sword like nothing he ever saw before. “My father has told me tales about this
blade. No other has ever gleamed like it
nor will anything else ever again! The
blade of the human spirit, the Soul Blade, I will use this blade only for
justice! I will keep this blade’s one
tradition. It will never spill human
blood. I swear it on my family’s honor!”
Chapter 14
The Revelation of the Others
<How could she have run off so quickly? She has never had that speed before. I know it takes at least twelve hours just
down this trail to reach the well, but these tracks she left in the rain must
be around six hours old, and I’m right next to the Milky Well. I’ll ask her when I find her> a soaking
wet
“Ahhh! Stop
it! Why can’t I get this out of my
head? Someone, anyone help!”
“Paula, where are you?!
Please say something, it’s me
“
“Paula, it’s okay.
Now what did you do that was horrible.”
“When I first saw Mike, I had my suspicions about his
motives for all of this. His details
were too vague and parts were missing. I
tapped into his mind to try and figure everything out to see what was going
on. It was a big mistake, a really big
one. It took me until we got to the
subject of Mike’s insanity that I finally got in. He has the strongest mental defenses I have
ever seen. It has never taken me that
long to even scratch the surface of a person’s mind before. I read his mind and I got to know about his
past and the pasts of Ryan, Nolan, Casie and some of Tom’s as well. Mike was constantly picked on as a child from
about the third grade and still even to this day. He has a lot of rage, I will get that
later. His intelligence is off the wall,
he can analyze anything in mere seconds and know exactly how to solve problems
and what not.
Ryan is a calm, cool, and collected person. He specializes in hand to hand combat but
will use any weapon that he can get his hands on. He, Mike, and Nolan, have been really close
friends for a while now and won’t let anything happen to the other. He has been one of the few people who really
has treated Mike like a human. He is
extremely good with computers. He is
very skinny; about Mike’s height and age; short, brown hair and very
strong. His favorite weapon is the
Masamune. He has the ability to levitate
in mid-air for extremely long periods of time and has explosive Psi techniques,
literally. His first is the Pk Bomb
where he super condenses his energy into an orb, throws it and detonates it
wherever he pleases. His other is his
Self-Destruct technique. He condenses
his energy inside his body and releases that energy in a tremendous
shockwave. He usually collapses right
after doing this because of the strain.
“Nolan is the weaponry expert of the group. He is Mike’s height and age; has short,
slightly spiked in the front brown hair, and more muscular than both Mike and
Ryan, but not by much. He is extremely
calm, especially in battle and in pressure.
Nolan seems to be a gun expert and uses anything that’s just lying
around. I don’t know why he wears that
trench coat in almost every image that he’s in while the Destined Ones were
defeating Godan though. He seems to be a
heavenly endowed fighter as well.”
“Heavenly endowed, you mean he has the heavenly attribute
in his fighting”
“Yes, one of his two Psi techniques is actually Psi Holy
Power Zeta. He is coated in full gold
colored armor that is harder than the titan’s armor. Not to mention he seems to have the power of
instant manifestation while using that technique, at least that’s what I read
from Mike’s mind. He never runs out of
ammunition because of that power.
Nolan’s other technique is Freeze but at the Zeta level, allowing him to
use it in tandem with holy power.
“Those are the two we haven’t met yet. Casie as you and I know has shoulder length
black hair and looks slightly overweight.
She is also rebellious with a good heart, short tempered, and very
powerful. Casie seems to use staff type
weaponry, she can spin them like a blender.
She uses so many psychic techniques it amazes even me. The one that stuck out was her Psi Pizza
technique. She conjures a weird looking
gas in her hands and smothers anything in it.
It’s poisonous to anything not of this planet, otherwise it has a slight
Pizza smell to us, note the name of the technique.
“Tom, I can’t say much about. He has short brown hair with that
semi-muscular build of his. He is about
5’ 10” as you have seen, pretty tall for a fourteen year old. His specialty is martial arts of any possible
form. That’s about it on him, since he
and Mike recently met, I don’t have much on him.”
“So then why do you look so tortured? I mean just looking at Mike’s past and
information about his friends couldn’t have been that bad, could it have”
“No, it wasn’t.
This is the part I said I would describe a little later. I got a little curious when I was done, so I
wanted to know what made Mike tick. I
found something that looked like a door in his mind, at least the mental image
of one. I opened it and I wish I
hadn’t. It was Mike’s true power, his
full mental power. Unfortunately, when I
opened it, since I was still connected to him, I felt the full effect of it. I have never felt anything like that
before. First it was a pure surge of
rage. Then it became focused into a
state of mind that fed off that rage.
Finally it went away into a calm and focused state of mind. That’s Mike’s ultimate level. It’s so much that it’s actually painful and
it expanded my mental abilities parallel to his. He can hardly handle that state because of
its power. I couldn’t the slightest
bit. The pain was tremendous. It felt like thousands of needles being stuck
into me at once. It was too much, and
the worst part is that it is a Fate as well!
It’s called the Mental Ascension and I unlocked in both me and
Mike! You see the damage I did
here. Imagine that power being unleashed
with Mike’s Psi techniques. He could
easily level Snow Wood if he can’t control it all the way! I still even have maybe twenty percent of
that power flowing through me right now!

“We’ll sleep here for the night Paula. I don’t want to be out in the storm tonight
anyway. You need to down calm before I
take you back to
“Thank you
“I forgive you Paula, and I’m sure Mike will as
well. He doesn’t seem to be the type to
hold a grudge.”
Chapter 15
Snow Wood, Part III
“*Yawn!!!!!!* Who in the heck is making this much racket
in the lab at this time of day? It’s
almost night and I see Mike brought all my equipment back in. Then I wake up to this noise. Who in the world is in my lab right now?”
Jeff said to himself while walking down to his lab. He opened the door and got a shock. Everything was running his lab! Every robot he was tinkering with to the
tiniest of things was running. “Who in
the heck did all of this?!” Jeff screamed.
“Well if you want to know, I did. Sorry to wake you, but I was getting some
pleasant shut eye until a certain someone just had to
peer into my mind and got a little curious.
That certain someone just had to unlock my full potential that I hold
back because it can be… oh I don’t know, highly
destructive!!!!!!!” screamed Mike at the top of his lungs seemingly
ticked off by something.
“What in the heck are you talking about?”
“Let me explain.
You see my mental abilities just happen to be way above normal, to the
extent where my full potential is extremely powerful and uncontrollable, so I
hold it back. Well, Paula just had to
start snooping around in my head and look around to see what I knew. Well, she got a little curious. She just so happened to unlock my full abilities. I’m sure she went nuts because she was still
connected to me. I, on the other hand,
knew it was coming so got constructive instead on destructive, and got working
down here learning everything I could just to suppress it. I’m over it for the most part, but I think I
might have gone slightly overboard” Mike explained while his right hand was
still shaking from the energy boost.
“Okay, I see your point.
I’ll have a little talk with Paula about peering into minds like that.”
“Don’t worry about it, she probably learned her lesson if
she even felt one percent of this. It’s
pretty intense.”
“I see that. Why
did you let her snoop around your head though when you knew it was happening?”
“She was persistent, so I figured why not after fighting it
for a while. She wouldn’t be curious
enough to unlock my true power. Looks
like I was just plain wrong with that one.
Well, I need some help shutting this stuff off since I’m worn out now.”
“Sure thing, I could probably use some of this anyway so
just go up when I tell you to.”
“Alright, let’s get to work then” Mike said. Thirty minutes later they were done. Jeff and Mike were exhausted at that point in
time. They were both sitting down
discussing Mike’s warp theory when something suddenly dawned on Mike. “Hey, from my last adventure I have this disk
that I got from some higher ups I met along the way. They said it holds valuable information but
it’s encrypted like nothing else. Can
you crack it?”
“I should be able to.
Let get my computer up and running” said Jeff. Jeff computer wasn’t some puny little
PC. He and his father, Dr. Andounts, had
built one of the most complex computer systems on the planet. Mike literally collapse in just pure
amazement in the presence of such a system.
“Um… Jeff, how powerful is that thing?”
“Since we were on short notice, we built it with a two
terahertz processor and three terahertz processor. We could have done better but he needed for
some extremely intense calculation, so we couldn’t finish it entirely” Jeff
explained. Mike was just purely amazed
that a system like that existed. “It
should be able to crack any encryption ever made. Can I see the disk?”
“Sure, here you go.
Can you also help me up? I’m
still in a little bit of shock just seeing that thing” said Mike.
“Alright here you go.
Now let’s see what I can do for this thing.” After about a half hour of waiting, Jeff just
gave up. “Okay, now I see why you
couldn’t crack that security yet. I was
at least able to print out the code, and this is the most complex code I’ve
ever seen. This computer can’t even the
code it’s so out there. My dad could
crack this in a heartbeat but he’s in Summers right now on vacation. He wouldn’t be much help without a computer
to crack it on. Why don’t you try the
Apple Kid? He might be of some help.”
“Who is he? I’ve
never heard of him.”
“He lives in Twoson.
The kid is as smart if not smarter than my father. If anyone could break that code it would be
him. Why don’t you go down after we
analyze this battle data?”
“I would, but I have a feeling whatever is on this disc
is too important to wait for. I’m going
to head off now. Anyway, I feel that
battle data is better seen by the others.
Find out where they are and show it to them. Maybe we can figure something out from that
data. You know, weakness I could work
on, flaws in my fighting style, who I learned from, etc. I think if some besides me sees that,
especially
“Are you sure Mike” Jeff asked.
“Yeah I’m sure, I’m just gonna Phoenix to Twoson anyway
since I want to take it easy right now since my power increase still hasn’t
fully worn off yet.”
“I thought once you used time speeder you were completely
drained.”
“Yup, I am. These
help when I’m that drained. Dehydrated
brain food lunch chips, they don’t have the full effect of the actual thing but
they are good when you can’t carry all of that stuff. I had my last two so I could get some power
back.”
“Where did you get those?”
“Tom makes them in his spare time. He’s good at making revival items of
different sorts and knows how to dehydrate so it’s easier to carry some things.
It saved our butts a few times in the past.”
“Alright, I’ll take your word for it. I’m guessing you can fly in your
“Yeah, I need to go slower anyway just to find Twoson.”
“It’s right next to Onett, you can’t miss the Apple Kid’s
house. It’s the red one.”
“Thanks man well I’m gonna grab my quiver and head
out. See ya man.”
“See you later, and hope you don’t get ambushed by the
Horsemen of Apocalypse in the mean time.”
“Like I said before Jeff, they won’t attack after what we
did. They are going to wait a while
before they attack again. They need to
get some more strength before they can even face us again” with that Mike ran
upstairs grab his quiver and went outside.
“Well old friend, let’s see if you can take it up to mach
fifteen this time without draining me in five minutes this time, that’s if I
have enough power to withstand that output for about three hours. Psi
Still at his lab, Jeff decided to call up
“It’s Jeff. Mike
and I are done here now. Where are you
guys at?”
“I’m with Paula right now in the Milky Well, everyone
else is in
“Hey I wasn’t.
Mike told me that she might have had a rough time a little bit ago. He said she got a little too curious. He felt it as well. He pretty much assembled half of the robots I
was working in about an eight hour period.
How did Paula handle it?”
“She didn’t handle the Mental Ascension Fate as well as
Mike did. She went nearly psychotic
because of the mental strain. I’m sure
Mike did all of that just to ignore the pain he felt until it wore off. She’s pretty beat up right now and might be
out for a few hours. I’ll contact Poo
telepathically and tell him to pick you and Mike up from Snow Wood.”
“I sent Mike off to Twoson to see the Apple Kid about
something thatI couldn’t help Mike with.
I’m just going to bring a few broken things and try to fix them up while
I’m down there.”
“Sounds good, we will probably need that stuff like last
time. I’ll see you in a few hours then.”
“Alright, see you then.”
