It helps a lot if you play this on a fretless bass, 
because of all the crazy slides in Riff #2

If you can't play the really fast parts (like in Riff #1), 
just don't play the second note of each pair ( 1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1 ).
It sounds almost the same.
