The team arrived in town, expectant to find
utter cahos. Ninten could remeber the words of a city-wise man from Ellay: 'The
black clouds that hover over the mountains cause people to go insane.' When
the crew got near town, something was not as it should "What?--" Teddy said,
examining the streets "Man, it's one quiet alien invasion here! Were is
everyone, this place is dead!" Ness looked around "Yeah, I was expecting to
find lots of enemies, why isn't everyone loosing sanity right about now?" But
despite the fact that random battles didn't seem present, the group moved
onward. As they approached the west side of the hospital with the dirt road
leading to the ocean, Paula fell "PAULA? Are you okay?!" Ness ran to her fallen
side. "Uh, wha--? I think so, I was very dizzy there for a second, I don't
know why, but we should keep going. I'm fine, really." Ness stood up "okay,
if you're okay. I guess we keep going. It won't be long now." They hadn't walked
five steps when a blue flash in the sky and a grey blur came from the darkened
heavens above, stopped their steady pace. From the ground where the blur had
fallen opened a capsul of enormus size and a humanoid figure with a steel body
and a cyclopse eye met them "WOAH, I THOUGHT I KILLED THIS GUY!" Ness said,
gaping at the Starman. "I did too!" Ninten added. The figure straightened
himself out to revel his arms, which were nothing more than long protruding
metal pieces that seemed to angle to a point at the end. The figure spoke
with a ghastly electronic distorted voice " Attention!
Figures that oppose Mother! Your presence here is unwanted. Leave this area now,
or I will take the pleasure of removing you myself. You have five seconds. Five
... Four ... Three ... Two ... One ... Times Up, earth beings..." At
the second he stopped talking, a small red glow behind the Starman's cyclops eye
began to grow. Until it was a laser, pointed at Ninten. He shot "OW! THAT HURT!
It's been a long time since I've been shot!" Ninten looked over his burnt skin.
Paula quickly raised a PSI shield, keeping in mind what had happened on Starmen
before this one, PSI masters. Ninten raised his bat behind the Starman, he hit
him, but not very hard. Moving in sync, Dr. Andonuts tried his plasma ray, it
still worked. The red beams hit the Starman, causing noticeable damage.
" Fools! Did you actually think that we would have sent
an inexpirienced Starman twice for the same job? You have underestimated us.
" The Starman tried a different aproach, PK Beam r . But this
was not an ordinary PK or PSI attack, it was designed to hit two. Fortunalty for
the team, it hit Ninten and Ness, both equipped with Franklin Badges, therefore
safe from the beams harmful rays. The beams shot back, but in misery only one
hit, and it did not kill the Starman, as had been expected. Ninten thew the
boomerang at the Starman, it sliced in to the armor above his head, and as with
any boomerang, it came back, finishing him. "Wow" Teddy said, looking over
the smoldering Starman "I think he might be dead. Yep, he looks dead all
right." Poo examined some of the wreakage "He moves no more, we should
continue" Ana and Jeff in unison "Agreed." The eight moved on, nearing the
ocean, they soon made it, but the Mothership was missing from it's watery
isolation. "Wait a sec, wher'd it go?" Teddy looked in the ocean, it wasn't
anywhere to be seen on the surface, it had moved, somewhere. Jeff perked up a
little "Now wait, one thing I know. When something prepels out of the
atmosphere, it leaves behind a greenish glow in the clouds, and judging by how
many there are, I think we would know it they had left." Dr. Andonuts looked
over at his son "Nice work Son" "Thanks dad." "Absolutely no
problem." Ninten broke in "Okay, thats a little off topic. What we need to
know, is where Giegue went, we know he isn't far, but we don't know
where" "Thank you Mr. Obvious" Ana commented. No sooner has she commented
then did the ground around them start to fracture. A low rumbling as if a
rotoliller without the motor would make if it were burrowing up would make "I
think we've found Giegue" Ana noticed. From out of the water came the
Mothership, protruding fully this time. Once again Ninten's mind flashed,
remebering the time when the three of them had watched the craft emerge from Mt.
Itoi all those years ago. But for Ness, Paula, Teddy, Jeff, and Poo, this was
the first time. The ship came from the water, some of the turf on land fell in
to the ocean as the massive ship rose. The bigger the ship got around the base,
the closer and closer it got to them, until it was pushing up ground to get near
them, but standing in a line, the group didn't
move. **********************************************************
"
Do not fear death, for it is as natural as life " Ninten didn't know why,
but for some odd reason, these words had flashed through his mind, he shook them
off and continued to watch the craft emerge from the deep. A series of metal
contacting skin noises could be heard as weapons were equipped, and as people
readied, it wouldn't be long now. Then the part they had been dreading, an
oarnge looking triangled shaped frame came up out of the deep, Giegue didn't
look to have had many outside changes done, he still looked the same. The
triangle frame stopped moving, and the ship stopped rising, almost exactly
aligned at the same hieght away from the group, only feet apart. An eerie noise
of strange pulsing alien machinery could be heard in the background, then Giegue
awoke. For a briefing second, there was nothing, no movement once so ever,
just the quiet pulsing behind them. Giegue's eyes stared at them, and their eyes
stared back. And then the eyes met Ninten's, and Giegue spoke "Ninten" Giegue
was probably about as tall as Teddy, who was about 6' 4", so his voice wasn't
all that deep "We are meeting again, as I promised we would over twenty years
past." When he paused, Ana and Dr. Andonuts knew what to expect, but the
attack that they knew, didn't come then "I have been planning to see you again,
I know that if any possible thing could come in the way of my goals, it was
you" Now Ana and Teddy heard a familier sound, the sound of buzzing static,
coming near them. But they were ready. WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM.
Everyone suffered damage, Paula, Jeff, Poo, Teddy, Ness and Dr. Andonuts more
than others. Seeing damage done, Poo concentrated hard. "Life-up Omega, NOW!" He
concentrated, and soon, there were no more problems in the Life department.
Ninten stood fixated on Giegue "Ninten, old tatics you once had, will no longer
work, I have prepared for this. Your children are also not safe, a previous ally
of mine was defeated by them, and he was permantly destroyed. I Managed
to escape and return, but he did not. I have learned from him, and I will avenge
him. I know of your traits." This time, everyone was ready. WHAM WHAM WHAM
WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM. More damage, but less, after another life-up from Poo,
Paula was getting anxious "Alright you white devil creepaziod! You're GONE!"
Paula began concentration "PSI FREEZE OMEGA, NOW!!" The wind went forward,
but to no avail the damage seemed to not phase him "Paula, I know of you. You
lead a haunted unwilling life. You are afraid to go outside because the
government that protects you is also the government that hunts you, I can save
you from this as well, you can come with me, to a better place..." Ness
looked over to her "PAULA, HE'S A DECIEVER!" WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM
WHAM. "Life-up Omega, NOW!" Poo refresfed everyone "I can keep this up all
day Giegue!" Then, Ness came up and slammed the side of Giegue's shield bubble
with his bat, but again, it didn't phase him "Ness! You look remarkably like
your father, which is probably the reason you're as much of a threat as he is."
Then Giegue did something he hadn't before. WHAM!!!! All of the energy for eight
attacks, was focused in to one, Ness flew backwards in to a large tree, he let
out a choked cry, and fell, out cold Paula rushed to his side. Ninten responded
to this, when the bond of his son was harmed, he reacted, Ninten sprang in to
chorus, but the song had gained a strange charcteristic, Ninten sang all the way
through, and Giegue did not stop him. "Woah, wait, what? The song didn't
work, why? I don't understand." Ninten stood beside himself. Jeff and Dr.
Andonuts had been standing somewhat helpless until now. Had it not been for
them, this would have been more of a sad day than it would already be. Jeff
examined Giegue, he noticed that Giegue hadn't even turned his head to look near
him when Ninten had been singing. Jeff moved to a safer location and
consuled with his father "Dad, what is this? I think that Giegue can't hear
whats going on, which is why the song didn't even touch him." Dr. Andonuts
looked at the creature and then pulled a device from his lab coat pocket. A
small black hand held device with a screen on it, and a variety of knobs. He
pointed the machine at Giegue, and on the screen, it showed a variation of
colors, blue and green seemed to indicate few of something, and red and purple
seemed to indicate many. When Dr. Andonuts reaced a certin point on the knob,
the screen lit up red "It's just as I was thinking" he said, seeming more
excited "He's created a frequency shield around himself, blocking out almost all
noise, if we can somehow rid him of that, I think all of out problems will
disappear, but how?" Jeff continued to examine him, and then, Eureaka! There
it was! A small laser beam pointed at the back of Giegue and showing only on the
bubble shield. It was the only option, it was their only chance. But time was
not on their side, for Giegue had spotted them, and because of his power, knew
of their plans. WHAM!! WHAM!! Two heavily concentrated attacks right on them, Dr
Andonuts and Jeff fell backwards, Teddy came rushing towards them "Oh geez, are
you guys okay! Aww ! Now what are we gonna do?" "Hey buddy, watch
your language." Dr. Andonuts muttered playfuly despite his weak condition.
"Teddy!" Jeff whispered desperatly "Teddy, there's a way to defeat him, get to
the side of him and block that laser, I don't know how dangerous it is, but
blocking it is the only way we can survive this! Hurry!" Jeff began to fade,
Teddy ran for the laser. Giegue saw Teddy, he saw him run, and had it not
been for Ana, he may have had an attack, but he was distracted at the wrong
time. Ana screamed at the creature "YOU COWARD! YOU CAN'T DEFEAT US! NOT EIGHT
OF US! C'MON AND LETS SEE YA TRY! YOU ARE WEAAAK!" Giegue's self-awareness
cost him dearly, he fired an attack at Ana, a bullseye, and Ana was hurt and
beaten, but then Giegue's ears perked up. He could hear again, he could hear
before, but now he could hear that song, that awful, dreaded song! He looked
towards the laser, Teddy had clamped on to bars that held the laser in place,
and was blocking it with his torso. "SING! THIS LASER HURTS !" Teddy
screamed in pain. Ninten, the last one who knew the song, sang the song. He
sang it loud and clear, and Giegue could hear. Oh how he could hear the song,
and the song came for him. Giegue could not stop Ninten, Ninten finished the
song, and then there was no noise. Giegue stood looking absently out in to
the open space, and then, bright cracks of white light came in to the cracks,
and then Giegue exploded. The explosion was white light, everything was blown
violently to the ground, including Teddy who could not clamp on to the laser any
more. Ninten lay on the ground, for a brief second, there was no movement,
time stood still. Then Ness woke, in a time uncomprable, Ness woke from his daze
and saw the light. The light began to recede back into the Mothership, and when
it did it created a vaccum. Ness gazed into it, but he was not pulled, Ninten
was. Ness watched absently as his father was moved from the ground and was moved
in to the Mothership, he did not try to stop him, but Poo did. Poo ran for
Ninten's legs and pulled. He pulled so hard, he tried and tried, but to no
success, he failed to save Ninten from the Mothership. When Ninten and the light
were back in the ship, it rocketed from the watery grave, and off in to the
eastern sky.
Giegue was defeated, now and forever, Giegue could never
return. But the Mothership was not. The Mothership had bearthed evil to Giegue,
as well as Giygas, but now they were both defeated, the Mothership would need a
new idea. For now, earth would enjoy a brief period of peace, until the next
branch of the chosen line was added. As for our remaining heros (the conscious
ones anyway), they healed a their friends. They moved back in to town, under the
clear night sky, as the clouds had gone. Ness would never quiet be the same
after that, he would always be a little more quiet than he had been before. Deep
in his heart, he knew that someday he would again see his father, and every
night, he hoped to see the Mothership in the sky, dropping him back here, back
home. But for years to come, he wouldn't see that ship. Not now.
