EPISODE I: THE CHOSEN FELLOWSHIP
Chapters 3,4

Ness flew in over Twoson, erching to a stop from his teleport. He stopped in front of a building he knew well, as he had been there often. With a knock granted to the door, a man with blonde hair opened the door, under his arm, a .270 rifle. Ness jumped back, but when the man saw who he was, he let the trigger go limp in his hand "Ness, hey buddy, sorry I thought you were from the government, they've been thick lately after a recent crash of something or other in Onett, well, come on in!"
Ness shook off his encounter with the rifle and allowed himself to go inside "Uh, sir, can I talk to Paula please?" Ness said, realizing the rifle was still under his arm.
"Ness, please don't call me "sir", I don't know why, but it just irritates me. Anyway, sure, Paula's in her room."
"Thanks, uh, later" Ness scurried upstairs and in to the room where his girlfriend was. "Ness! Hi!" A girl with blonde hair came up to him, she pecked his cheek, as Ness returned the favor "Nice suprise to see you, well! So, whats on your mind?"
"Well hon, wait, why don't ya sit down, alright, ready for this?" Ness proceded to tell a wonderful tale of how his parents once had the same adventures, the PSI, the friendship that all of them knew. And the problems that were now arising "Lively story, huh?"
Paula looked overwhelmed "Woah, yeah. So what's this got to do with us?"
Ness chuckled "Time changes many things. It's been so long since my parents have had to actually had to use PSI, they've slowed majorly. So they need the new blood to help out."
Paula looked as if she understood more now "Okay then, well, I guess theres no avoiding it, it's off to save the world, again." Paula looked out the window of her room "So are we gonna get Jeff and Poo as well?"
Ness shruged his shoulders "I don't see why not, we'll need all the extra help thats even possible. I guess we should probably get the move on, need anything before we leave?"
"Nope, well, maybe I'll leave a note for dad, I don't want him freaking out again."
"Okay, let's go outdoors shall we?"
The couple moved outside and teleported to Winters.
When the arrived in the barren frozen land of the northern continent, their first stop was Snowood Boarding School, the place where Jeff, a very close friend who had partaken on their adventure, was a regular bookie "Think he's here?" Paula quieried Ness.
"I dunno, lets find out." They walked inside the school, and looked, but found none, only a tense Maxwell offered some clues "Well guys, I wil say that he is at his fathers lab, that would be the last place I knew where he was. He's doing research with his gifted father. They make a great team, you know" Maxwell beamed.
"Yeah, gee, who woulda thought..." Ness said with a hint of sarcasm.
"Heh, well, I guess we should be on our ways then, later Maxwell."
"Goodbye young ones! Hey! Do you want to buy some raffle tickets!?"
Ness and Paula were unaware of Maxwells bargin, as they were out the door "Well, I guess we should find that stupid bubble monkey some where." Paula put her hand over her eyes to shield off the bright sun reflections off the snow.
"What, and spend hours doing that? I don't think so, I've got an idea, lets get in teleport form, stay with me here" Ness got in line and faced the lab direction, he started a teleport and took off over the lake.
As with teleports in the past, now is the time Ness would take in to the sky, but now, he broke his concentration level to a bare minimum, and fell at a strange angle, right in front of the lab "there, now. That was easy enough."
"Sure Ness, lets go inside, this is freezing out here, literally." Ness and Paula went inside the lab, and of course, they found what they were looking for. An older man and a boy were sitting at desk with a paper and pencil, sketching math figures.
"JEFF! Hey!" Ness said to him, loud enough to break his immense concentration. The boy with the glasses looked up from his work "Oh, hi guys, I wasn't really expecting company. Dad, you remeber my friends, Ness and Paula right?"
The older man looked up "Well of course! Now how could I forget?"
"It might have been kinda hard Dr A" Paula said affectionatly.
"I don't think I would have wanted to forget you guys." The Doctor said.
"Yeah" Ness said laughing a little "you know you wouldn't want to forget us, we might make you sorry if you do!"
Dr. Andonuts chuckled a little "Ah, the youth" He got up and went to get a glass beaker off a shelf.
Jeff continued the conversation "So, what can I do you guys for? You just here to bug me? Nah, you guys are my homies, I know you wouldn't do that!"
"Never" said Ness "however, there is something of, well, larger importance that we need to talk about. I've told this to Paula, maybe you should sit back down as well" Ness told Jeff the story of their adventures so far, Jeff was gaping, espesially at the part of the old people having gone on an adventure "so anyway this guys name is Giegue..." at the sound of the word, Dr. Andonuts stopped dead in his tracks, the empty glass beaker fell from his hands, and shattered upon the ground. The sound was deafning.
"What...was the word? Who...is...this?" Dr. Andonuts said, Ness spoke up "Yeah, it was Giegue, know 'em?"
Dr Andonuts was quiet, then he spoke "It's been over long years, since I have heard that name. I fear it, but I know it, I know it well."
"How, dad? Are you okay?" Jeff seemed worried for his father.
"Yes, son, I am fine, but there is something that you must know. I'm, well, not as old as I look."
"Whaddya mean, I always thought that you were 65 or something"
"No, no. As a child I inherited large amounts of stress, from my peers at an elemantary school. I grayed quickly, but more or less aged from a bad drug expirimentation. I'm really about 31."
The three gaped with their mouthes open "Wow, Dr A, you've managed to fool us, thats really stunning, I...wow" Jeff stood staring at his father.
"So much is different now, kids, I must come back with you, there is something that I must see, I must know...do you understand?" Dr. Andonuts was studdering a little.
"Of course we understand" Paula said to the stressed man "It's an age old vengance, I've seen them so often before."
"Thank you, thank you so much" Dr. Andonuts managed.
"Personally, I don't even see why you want to go back to this thing, it gives me the creeps, I never knew there were actually two evil emptors, with suprisingly similar names" Ness added.
"Actually theres more than two bu--" Dr. Andonuts caught himself " Oh I'm a crazy decripet man, don't listen to what I'm saying, come now, lets go."
The four walked outside into the snow "Okay, I have one more stop to make, but lets get going" Ness came around the side of the building and faced stonehenge, with a sprint, he started towards the sky, and was off.

Meanwhile, back in Onett.
"Hey Teddy, wanna play Rummy? Want in hun?" Ninten reached for a deck of cards.
"Sounds cool to me, deal me in" Teddy sat down at the table, Ana still gazed at the somewhat iced/chopped water "You wanna play Ana?"
Ana looked up, breaking the stare " Oh, no. Not really, I'm pretty deep in thought right now, uh, play without me"
"Sure?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm sure"
"Heh, she don't know what she's missin'. Are we playin' 500 or straight Rummy, Ninten?" Teddy started collecting his cards.
"Lets make it challenging, we'll do straight. I think there's a full deck here." Ninten and Teddy played rummy for about ten minutes peacefully, when Ana lost her grip. She started crying, Ninten dropped his hand face up on the table and went to tend to her, Teddy caught a glimpse at the hand of cards that Ninten had, and then went to go help consul.
"Oh god Ninten, what is this? This is the most stress I've ever had to go through, I can't do this now!" Ana burried her face in Ninten's shoulder.
"Ana, Ana, Ana. Life is full of things that are just thrown at us. One thing we must always be is ready. Ready for the future, because that is what matters. Ana, I know this is hard for you, it's hard for me, and Teddy. It's hard for Ness, he knows how this feels. Oh Ana, come here, it's gonna be okay, I know it is. Because it always has been, and it will continue to be that way."
Ana looked up at him and smiled. Ninten continued "So if we can try and do our best I know that we might not ever have to do this again, I hope not, but I think we can nail him this time, and we can't do it without you..."
Ana started talking "Thanks Ninten, I feel a lot better "a sigh came from her "You're good at that, that was one of the reasons that I fell for you."
Ninten chuckled "Heh, thanks hun" No sooner had Ana gotten the complimnet than did five people come in the front door, no it wasn't the Runaway Five, it was Ness, Paula, Jeff, Poo and Dr Andonuts. As they filed in, Dr Andonuts was breathing hard "Wow! It's been a long time since I've done that! Wow! Man o man I forgot how fun that was!"
Ninten eyed Dr. Andonuts "Well now! If it isn't the great Doctor himself. Loyd Andonuts, you finally made somthing of yourself! How are ya buddy! Hey look Teddy! It's the "weakling" Ha HA! Nah, just kiddin' L"
"Hey! You with the glasses! You're not very good at fighting are you? Gimme all your goods!" Dr Andonuts whirled around to see an old friend "HA HA! It's Teddy! 'Now it's the weakling's turn!'"
Dr. Andonuts and Teddy joked playfuly at the quotes from their past, then Ana came from the table, and Dr. Andonuts caught a glimpse of a woman he hadn't seen in a while "I'll be, Ana? Is that you? Wow, how are you, I mean" Dr. Andonuts was choked up, he hadn't lost a factor of embarresment "You...wow, you look nice"
Ninten shot a glance at Dr. Andonuts "Hey Loyd, don't be hitten' on my wife, don't go there"
Dr. Andonuts turned red in the face "I was not!"
Ninten laughed "Jus' messin' with ya'"
Ness looked about his happy family and spoke "As much as I hate to break up this happy reunioun, we do have somewhat of a job to do. You all know Poo right? He's my Dalmaneese Prince friend"
Poo spoke to all, from his side, a sorwd fit for a king hung from his waste "It is an honour to meet you people, I know that you have an astonishing record that has save the well being on this earth." He bowed.
Ninten looked at him "Aww, now don't get all mushy with us Poo, hey, I'm Ninten, Ness' dad." Poo laughed a respectable laugh, although he didn't fully understand the full context of the joke Must be some of that 'American Humour' he thought.
There was scattered conversation among the seven people in the room, until attention was called to the stairwell, on the fourth step up, Ness stood over all, on his chest, hung the earth pendant and on his belt loop hung his gutsy bat "Okay, Jeff, Paula, Poo? You guys are already set, right?" There were indications, Paula held up her magic frying pan, as Jeff flashed his Gaia beam, and Poo slightly showed his Sorwd of Kings.
"So, are the old people to have any weapons of their own?" Ness asked the crowd from the stairs.
His mother responded "I do!" She went to a pot rack and grabbed an iron skillet "killed a lotta Starmen with this pan, fried a lotta eggs too."
Dr. Andonuts pondered for a second "I really don't have my orignal ray, I do however, have a few intresting items" Dr. Andonuts pulled out a ray, long and somewhat obtuse, and it appeared old "It's my old plasma ray, I think it still works, I haven't used it in awhile, I hope it still works."
Teddy felt his leather club sheath, even though, thats not really what the black police isssue sheath held. The handle of the object was a wooden carved handle, with intense detail. Teddy unclipped the leather strap that held the handle in place, and pulled a long sorwd "It's my Katana" he said, as he finshed pulling the sorwd from the sheath "I got my vengance with this thing."
People were quiet, and then Ninten spoke "Wait" he dissapeared upstairs, dodging Ninten both ways, and then he brought back a small box. As he opened it, he revealed a steel sharp tooth serated boomerang "This thing was a natural killer for it's day, it's one of my more prised, secret possesions. I used to have a Hanks Bat, But I can't seem to find it."
Paula was next to speak "I guess we're ready then?"
Teddy responded "I am, everyone else?" there was a brief two second scilence, then a chorus of "yeahs"
"LETS GET IM!" Ninten shouted over the heard of eight, the eight saviors walked together, in a wall type row that made others move away, an unbreakable bond between the wise and the young moved to the next great conquest on the planet.
Now the sky was black. Black with dark clouds that hovered over the ocean. Ninten, Ness, Paula, Teddy, Jeff, Dr. Andonuts, Ana, and Poo all walked together towards the hellish site that lay ahead.


AK: Sorry, once again I thought that Loyd's (as in relation to Dr. Andonuts) was Jeff. So if you see something that looks like that, well...you know.
