Metal Gear Ness
Chapter 1: Nano-what?

NOTE: This is based VERY loosely around Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty,

"Solid..Ness? No, its not gonna fit

***********************************

Paula, Jeff, and Poo were sitting on Ness's front porch. They were having a party, 
and were waiting for Ness to bring back some pizza. In the distance you could  see Ness 
running up to his house.

	"HEY GUYS! I GOT THE PIZZA"

	The other 3 jumper up and shouted in excitement. At that very moment, a 
helicopter swooped down very low and a person in the helicopter picked up Ness. Ness 
started to wiggle around. "HEY WHATS THE DEAL"

	A voice talked back. "Just get in kid."

	Back at the house, Paula, Jeff and Poo sat back down, shocked, amazed, and 
disappointed. Paula looked up at the helicopter which flew overhead, "Well, I guess 
party's over." They all walked home.

	Back in the helicopter, Ness was settled down. "Hey whats going on here? Who 
are you people?"

	The man looked at him. "My name is Iriquois Pliskin, Lieutenant junior grade."

	The pilot of the helicopter looked back at Pliskin, "You can tell him your name."

	"Fine. My name is Solid Snake."

	Ness looked at Snake confused. "Solid Snake?"

	"Ya. Solid Snake. The pilot over there is Otacon."

	Otacon waved back. "Hi."

	Ness now looked at Otacon. "Otacon? Well my name is Ness."

	Snake smirked. "Well, that's a strange code name."
 
	"Code name? That's my REAL name"

	Snake says, " Oh, well you need a code name. How about..Solid Ness?"

	Snake thought to himself. So did Ness. Ness looked at Snake, "Solid......Ness? No, 
its not gonna fit."

	"Your right kid. How about we just called you Ness."

	Ness nodded. "I agree."

	Snake looked at Ness. "Are you wired with nanomachienes?"

	Ness, yet again, confused, looks at Snake. "Nano...what?"

	Snake says, "Well, I thought so. Otacon, you got the equipment?"

	Otacon looks back, "The portable nanos?"

	Snake nodded. Otacon pointed to a box sitting on a seat in the helicopter. Snake 
got up and walked over to the box and picked it up. He tossed it to Ness. "Here Ness, put 
this on. Put it on and I will fill you n about it."

	5 minutes later. Ness comes out with the suit on. "Hey this looks kinda cool! How 
its kinda tight around the chest area."

	Snake looked at Ness. "Well at least you go it on correctly. Well, its called a Skull 
Suit. The suit's texture isn't far removed from rubber. It protects you from a wide range 
of harmful toxic substances. The suit has a wide range of arrays and sensors. The 
pressure on your torso you talk about protects your ital organs and maximizes 
performance. This specific suit comes with and auto Codec."

	Ness looks at himself. "Auto Codec?"

	"Ya Codec is a means of communication. You can contact me and others by 
frequency. My frequency is 141.80. The Codec stimulates the small ear bones in you ear, 
so no one else can hear what is being said to you. Normally, you would have to be wired 
with nanos, but this suit has special machines that act as them. The whole concept is 
complicated for you. So I'll stop here.

	Ness is still admiring his suit. "Ok. I haven't asked you yet. WHAT DO YOU 
NEED ME FOR."

	Snake looked at Ness. "We need to go to the Big Shell, an offshore 
decontamination facility. We need to get ready. We are almost there. I will explain what 
we need to do when we get there."

	Ness looked at Snake funny. "R....ight. And of all people, why did you pick me?"

	Snake smirked again. "I dunno. You look like a person would do this stuff."

	Snake sniffed and looked at a box next to Ness. "Is that pepperoni?"

	Ness, Snake and Otacon ate the pizza.
