Ana: At least everyone likes you there… and you got the Ocarina!
Ninten: Yes, but still…
Loid: (in baby voice) Awww, does our wittle Ninteny-poo feel neglected?
Ninten: OH, that’s IT, wimp-boy!
(Battle swirl)
Ninten encountered the Loid Playing Rough!
Ninten used Defense-Down!
Loid’s defense dropped by 8.
Loid used Bottle Rocket.
Ninten took damage of 36.
Ninten used GGF’s Diary!
Loid: Hey… What? That won’t do anything!
Ninten whacked Loid over the head with the diary
Loid: …Ouch…
Loid took damage of 42.
Loid used the Hungry HP-Sucker!
Ninten, Ana, Teddy: WHAT?
Loid: Jeff lent it to me.
Ninten took damage of 41.
Loid healed damage of 41.
Ninten: You’re going down!
Ninten attacked with the Hank’s Bat!
SMAAAASH!
Loid took damage of 126.
Loid is in a critical state.
Teddy: He’s still alive?
Loid: Now, for a trick I learned off of my Game Boy Advance!
Ana and Teddy stare blankly.
Loid: Hey, I needed something to do after Teddy kicked me off the team.
Loid used Death Size! (For those of you that don’t know, Menardi uses this in Golden Sun.)
Ninten took damage of 236.
Ninten became quiet.
Loid: Boo-yah! Who’s the king, baby? WHO’S THE KING?
Ninten: (weakly) Just wait until I get my strength back… (Weakly slaps Loid on the ankle)
Loid: AAH! Ow, ow, ow… (Loid falls on the ground)
Ana and Teddy: (doubled over in hysterics)

(We come to the climax in Earthbound 0: Ninten is fighting Giegue. Ninten has just used Check.)
"(Ninten hears the voice of Queen Mary) Giegue cannot be defeated with force...You cannot defeat Giegue with a weapon of any kind.”
Ninten: AAH! Ninten uses 4th-D Slip. Ninten ran away from battle.
Ana: Ninten, you idiot! Come back and help! I’m keeping the party alive, and Loid can’t sing for his life!
Loid: (sings song shrilly)
Giegue covered his ears.
Giegue: Puny stink beasts! You think that a song can beat me???
Loid: (continues to sing horribly)
Giegue cried out in pain!
Giegue disappeared!
Ana: Well, that didn’t turn out so bad…
(Much later, in the depths of Mt. Itoi)
Ninten: Hello? Somebody? Anybody? …Giegue?
(The climax of Earthbound- Ness and co. are fighting Giygas. Paula has just prayed for the second-to-last time…)(This contains references to Golden Sun, again.)
Ness: (whispers something to group)
Others: OK!
Ness: Djinni Ground, unleash! (Ground comes out and holds Pokey rooted to the ground.)
Paula: Djinni Mist, attack! (Mist attacks and leaves Giygas asleep, somehow.)
Jeff: Djinni Luff, seal! (Luff flies toward Giygas and locks his psychic powers.)
Poo: I summon METEOR! (A gigantic meteor lands on Giygas and Pokey, leaving them… well, to put it nicely, permanently knocked out.)
Ness: That turned out well!

(Scene switches to various places over Eagleland)

Member of the Runaway 5: So, Lucky, who are we praying for again?
Lucky: Hmm… I’m not getting a signal anymore…

Frank: Frankystein, trace that mysterious prayer from out of the blue.
Frankystein: MY – REPORTS – SHOW – THAT – YOU – ARE – INSANE!

Tracy: Mom, if Ness doesn’t come back alive, can I have his room?

Paula: So, Ness, who did my prayers reach, anyway?

(Later, in Gondowa- a Golden Sun region)
Garet: That was strange- our Djinn just up and flew away…
Isaac: (nods)
Mia: Are you sure you don’t know what happened?
Isaac: (shakes head)
Ivan: I think he’s lying.
Isaac: …
