Troublesome Force: Chapter Six
Troublesome Force: Chapter Six

Place: Siruv's Dungeon, Cartamian Desert

Battle: Amy, Myau, Ness vs. 2 Siruv Guards
"We need electricity!" Myau yelled, restating the requirement of an electrical source to permit the defeat of the Guards.
Ness was wondering how the light bulbs suspended on the ceiling of the dungeon were lit, and then a light bulb appeared above his head and brightened up.
"Amy, Myau," he called out, "get to the far wall and smash the light bulbs at this end!" He began to withdraw back too, sending out the occasional GRA attack.
Assembled at one end, the three new friends began to assault the lights on the ceiling at the far end of the corridor, where the guards were standing.
One after the other, each light began to crack and exploded in a brilliant flash of light that electrocuted each Siruv Guard, expelled the Virus, and destroyed it.
The Guards were finally defeated.
"We'd better hurry to Dalaam," Ness said. "Who knows how close Gaira is to crashing into it?"

Place: Dalaam, Nintendo City
"What are we doing?" Ani asked. "And for that reason, why are we doing it?"
Presently, she, Jeff and Poo were rappelling down the northern cliff face of Dalaam.
"We're doing it," Poo explained, "because it's the only way that we can escape to somewhere else... and possibly save Dalaam in the process."
"But if the Dalaamians have been taken over by Viruses, why should we bother to save them?" Ani retorted.
"Because," Jeff answered, "there is a slight --- and I emphasize slight --- chance that the Dalaamians' Viruses can be expelled. But I don't know how."
"You mean it?" Ani pondered. The about-turn in her view of the Dalaamian's plight was reflective of her unpredictable personality.
"Ani," Poo quietly added, "Jeff said he doesn't know how. But I'm sure he can figure it out."

Place: Gaira, Now in Nintendo City

Battle: Alias, Ana/Ecoli, Paula, Pika vs. Neifirst
"How can we defeat her?" Paula exclaimed. "And we're already in Nintendo City!"
"Siruv will defeat you! Give up, surrender!" Neifirst boomed.
"I don't think so! NAFOI!" Paula sent a powerful flame column down from the skies at Neifirst, burning her hair.
"You're not going to defeat all of us!" Neifirst exclaimed, tired from the battle. "I'll take you down with me!"
"Kachu!" (No!)
The petite yellow mouse tried with all his might to tackle the evil Numan, or at least impede her proceeding towards the control panel of the satellite.
"No!" Ana cried. "Pika, stop! It's not worth it!"
Ana began to run towards the brave rodent.
"KACHU!" (PSI THUNDER BETA!) The two thunder frames struck the Numan, sending her unconscious.
Neifirst's body began to fade, slowly turning into a pile of dust.
Gaira began to tilt, and fall towards Dalaam prematurely.

Place: Dalaam, Nintendo City
"What's that?" Ani asked. A small fireball that began in the west, blotting out the setting sun, began to descend towards the cliff face.
"The prophecy.." Poo trailed off.
"The prophecy?" Jeff demanded, unconvinced.
"That's not the entire prophecy that I told you," Poo whispered. "I just gave the basic idea."
Poo said, "The entire prophecy is...
After he who obliterated worlds has been obliterated himself, and a lull of peace has rolled over Ramma, a new threat will arise.
The people of Ramma will obey an evil creature of unnatural construct.
And when the Prince, and two friends escape his castle, the dark sun of evil will descend from the sky, bringing with it darkness like the creature.
And should the obliterators of the obliterator be unable to destroy the sun, Ramma will be no more.
When the dark sun begins to descend, one will be at world's end. Another one, sadly on the dark sun. The remaining two, you know exactly who."

"This is the coming of the end of Dalaam, unless we can fix it."

Place: Siruv's Palace, Cartamian Desert
Amy, Ness and Myau rushed out of the palace, only to find themselves at the edge of a cliff which ended in total blackness.
"Now what are we going to do?" Myau exclaimed. "If only we had some Laerma Nuts, I could fly us across."
"Fly?" Ness was apparently shocked by this turn of events.
"But of course, Alis always carried them with her...so if we can't find her, we can't escape."
"Actually, we can," Ness glibly commented. "Get ready for a blast. PSI TELEPORT BETA!"
Ness, Amy and Myau ran around in a circle, and disappeared into thin air. Seconds later, they appeared in Onett.

Gaira crashing into Dalaam, Nintendo City
"Is that...Dalaam?" Alis asked. Although she had gained a sense at bravery during her adventures that she did not have at the beginning, in Caminett, her old behaviour still showed through at times.
A small rocky island appeared in the distance, and grew larger by the second.
"Yes, that is Dalaam," Paula said.
"Chu! Pi pi chu! Ka pikachu." (No! I can't die! I'm young.)
"Pika, don't you have other things to worry about?" Ana soothingly whispered. "We won't die. It'll be impossible for us to. Ecoli and I are trying to halt the fall of Gaira."
And indeed, Ana and Ecoli, joined for survival, were at the console, making a valiant attempt at stopping the gravity-induced freefall of the artificial satellite.
"It's not working," Paula cried. "Dalaam's getting closer!"
"Pikachu..." (It's hopeless...) Pika moaned.
"No!" Ana muttered. "There's no halt mechanism! All I can do is steer it!"
"Then do that!" Alis shrieked. "There's only a matter of minutes left until we hit Dalaam!"
"I'm too short to easily control it!" Ana exclaimed. "I'm only 6, you know!"
"I'm 15! I'll do it!" Alis yelled, pushing Ana/Ecoli out of the way, and engaging the controls. The unnatural body from Algo didn't move at first, but slowly groaned and creaked, as Alis was able to perform a 90-degree turn, saving Dalaam from destruction.
"Bring it down near the Pink Cloud!" Paula suggested. "We can jump down and get to Dalaam through the cave!"
"But where is the Pink Cloud?" Alis demanded.
"Then let me drive it!" Paula sidled up to Alis and took the controls from her.
Paula expertly piloted the ungainly satellite around the rocky island country until an oddly coloured cloud came into view, when she rolled the satellite after a loud "Hold onto something!" so the emergency exit would make an easy drop onto the cloud.
"Now what do we do?" Alis asked.
"Chu chu chu chu chu chu chu chu!" (We're alive, we're alive, we're alive, we're alive!) Pika jubilantly squeaked.
"Calm down, Pika!" Ecoli called out. "We're getting ready to jump onto the Pink Cloud."
Paula opened the door, surveyed the distance to the cloud, and jumped down. Ana, Alis and Pika followed suit.
Once they all landed, Gaira crashed into the sea.
"Quick! Into the caves!" Alis warned. "Gaira may explode!"
The four adventurers ran into the cave, just as Gaira's explosion caused an earthquake which blocked off that exit.
Pika vigorously shook off the dust that had collected on his fur, then looked at the cave entrance. "Pika, pikachu," he reported. (No, we're trapped.) "I guess this means there's a single way out: the way Ness, myself, Jeff and Poo came in initially," Paula murmured.
The cave ahead offered no solace, for there only darkness lay.

Place: Dalaamian Cliff Face, Nintendo City
"There's the Pink Cloud!" Jeff exclaimed. "We can get back to Dalaam that way!"
"No, we can't," Poo gravely commented. "The entrance has been blocked. No, we must continue downwards, try to find another way back."
"The wind is howling...but it seems louder now," Ani murmured. "Like there's an indent in the cliff. A cave entrance, perhaps."
Jeff and Poo focused on what Ani was saying, and they, too, noticed that the wind seemed to be howling louder below them.
"You're probably right, Ani," Jeff concurred, "but we can't tell for sure unless we go further, which means we'd have to go below the clouds."
"But the clouds below the mountain keep us safe from outside forces," Ani countered. "It's too dangerous."
"Ani," Poo said softly, "that's only a fable the elders told. Like the prophesy. It turned out to be wrong. Maybe this fable will be wrong too."
"I hope you're correct, Prince Poo. I hope."
The three continued to descend down the cliff face. The howling wind became louder. The clouds went from being below them, to being above them. The wind continued to become louder, eventually so loud it was futile to even talk to the others.
Ani looked down, fatigued from the few hours of climbing. The cliff oddly seemed to jut in, like a bellybutton.
The Dalaamian female waved to the two boys to signal they were to follow her.
Ani screamed, but no sound was heard when her foot slipped into nothingness. Poo quickly clambered down to her, but she had lost her footing, and began to fall. As soon as she started to fall, she grabbed onto the new cliff face with both hands, and pulled herself up.
Glad to see someone who he considered the only Dalaamian left, save for him, safe, Poo smiled and joined Ani in the cave entrance. Jeff soon followed suit.
Now somewhat relieved from the howling winds that all but muted and deafened them, the three began to talk for the first time in about 45 minutes.
"The legends only spoke of such a place..." Poo trailed off.
"What do you mean, 'only spoke of such a place'?" Jeff demanded.
"We've found the Shrine of Ramma." Poo's voice was brimming with enthusiasm.

Place: Onett, Nintendo City
"Ah..it's good to be home." Ness basked in the brightly shining sun of Onett.
He, Amy Sage, and Myau were walking around Onett. Ness was in a way giving the doctor and the Musk Cat a personal tour of his hometown.
"Your cities are, apparently, not as technologically advanced as the cities of Mota and Palm," Amy commented.
"Don't you mean Motavia and Palma?" Myau, of course. Being from different time periods, per se, they held different views on how the planets of the Algo system should be called.
"And this is the arcade. Watch out for the Sharks, though. Their leader's working in the Burger shop now, so they might be a little rowdy," Ness commented.
The whirring of wheels behind them caused Amy and Myau to assume a battle position.
"Hey, Ness!" Frank said.
"Hello Frank!" Ness waved to the Sharks' leader, and waved off his friends from attacking.
"Your new friends are...shall we say, a little over-reactive, no?"
"Calm down, you two!" Ness yelled.
Amy and Myau relaxed very little.
"Well, see ya!" Frank skateboarded off.
Amy and Myau had, by this time, been able to calm down --- slightly.
Noticing it was getting late, Ness proposed, "Let's go to my house for some steak." Suddenly, an explosion rocked their world!
Ness looked up, and saw a pillar of flame in the east.
"That's the police station!" he exclaimed.

Place: Cave of the Pink Cloud, Nintendo City
Soothing music began to play.
"Tangoo!" Paula exclaimed.
The serpentine flutist advanced rapidly. In fact, there was two of them.

Battle: Alis, Ana/Ecoli, Paula, Pika vs. 2 Tangoos
Alis brandished her Laconian Sword, Ana her Iron Skillet, Paula her Holy Fry Pan, and Pika bared his teeth.
The Tangoos played a mysterious tune, sending everyone but Paula asleep, since she had a Pixie's Bracelet equipped.
"PSI FIRE OMEGA!" Paula shrieked, burning both flute players --- one for 257 HP damage, and the other for 345 HP damage. The latter Tangoo was tamed, but the last one remained.
The Tangoo breathed poisonous breath on Pika, poisoning him.
Paula took out her final Secret Herb and fed Pika it, removing the poison.
"Kachu." (Thanks.)
"No problem," Paula said, hoping she wouldn't have to heal any more.
Focusing their attacks on one Tangoo, the four (five, perhaps) heroes and heroines were able to defeat the two, and continue on their way.
