Troublesome Force: Chapter 3

Place: Nintendo City
"Miss Polestar," Ecoli said, writhing in pain, "I have a solution to both our problems."
"What?" Paula asked, despondently.
"I could... enter.... Ana's... body," Ecoli said. Obviously, the pain was getting to him.
"No...." Ana moaned. "No viruses...."
"But Ana," Paula said, "If you don't, you might die."
"Don't care... don't want Viruses..."
If only Alis was here, Paula thought. But she and Pika had gone off somewhere, where, I don't know.

Place: Nintendo City
"Ana, you have to let Ecoli in you. Both of you might die if he stays out of you," Paula pleaded.
"I don't... want... Virus in me..."
"Ana, please trust me."
Tears welled up in Paula's eyes, and Ana was blasted by a wave of pain.
"Aaaaagh!"
Paula laid Ana's head in her lap. Her eyes were solemn.
Dr. Andonuts came over.
"What's wrong, my dear?" asked the good doctor.
"My cousin's about to die," Paula sobbed, unable to keep the tears from flowing. Her beautiful pink dress was soon stained with a generous sprinkle of teardrops.
"Is... that a Virus?" Dr. Andonuts said, stuttering.
"Yes, but-"
"Yaiee! I hate Viruses!"
"-he's a good Virus."
"Prove it."
"I... tried... to help them defeat Siruv...."
"Who's Siruv?" Dr. Andonuts inquired.

Place: Siruv's Palace
"You mean you couldn't take over a 13 year old?" Siruv boomed. "Guards, take him to the dungeon. He should rot there like all those other failures."
"Siruv, sir, majesty," a True Virus said, "we are quickly running out of able troops with which to take over Cartamians."
"Then," Siruv said, an evil 'grin' on his 'face', "we'll just take over powerful Cartamians."
"Like who?" the Virus asked.
"These three." Suddenly, on the screen behind Siruv, the faces of two men appeared: one had pointed ears, wore a cape, and brandished a scythe; and the other had blue hair dressed as a ponytail, wore white ceremonial clothing and had a wand in one hand. Also, a white creature that stood just over six feet appeared, hands inviting any challlengers, a wire-like tendon, or a tendon-like wire reaching from the middle of its head to the middle of its back. Its tail started fat, then became thin, and fattened up again at the tip.
"It shall be done, liege Siruv."

Place: Somewhere between Nintendo Town and Playstation Borough
"PIKA!" (MEWTWO!) Pika exclaimed.
"What?" Alis asked. Suddenly her head was knocked back. Obviously Mewtwo's MEGA PUNCH attack.
"Chu!" (Alis!)
"Of course," the Mewtwo said, "the Pikachu and the Palman who have been causing my liege Siruv so much trouble."
"Virus," Alis said, voice seething with anger.
"What are you going to do, tomboy?" Mewtwo mocked. "And you too, you electric rat."
"TOMBOY?" Alis asked.
"CHU?" (RAT?)

"Attack!" Alis yelled.
"GIFOI!" The flame slightly damaged the Mewtwo-Controller, because it hit him on the leg.
"KACHU!" (GITHU!) The thunderbolt was not very effective due to the Mewtwo-Controller's agility.
"Heheh," Mewtwo-Controller said. "RECOVER." Mewtwo's damage all but disappeared.
"This is a hopeless cause," Alis said, resigning herself to what she thought was her fate.
Because of the battle, they hadn't noticed the water beside them. It saved their lives.
The Mewtwo-Controller stupidly moved itself over to the sea, thinking that he could still win with less directions in which to manoeuvre.
Suddenly an Octopus (Phantasy Star Enemy) leapt out of the sea and grabbed the Mewtwo-Controller in its tentacles.
"GIFOI!" Now the GIFOI worked wonders, because the Mewtwo-Controller could do nothing much more than STRUGGLE, or RECOVER.
Pika became aware of the technique NATHU.
"KACHU!" (NATHU!)
The force of electricity within the Nathu technique was finally enough to purge the Virus from Mewtwo's system.

The Virus disappeared over the sea.
"Heeeeeellllllpppp...." the Mewtwo groaned, in severe pain.
Alis brandished her Laconian Sword, and Pika started building up electricity.
"Pika pika, pikachu!" (Let's combine attacks!) Pika suggested.
"Okay."
Alis ran towards the Octopus, Pika holding onto her back.
When Alis went for her sword-strike, Pika discharged his built-up electricity into Alis' sword, which was a perfect conductor of the electricity into the Octopus' body.
The Octopus writhed in pain, and the Mewtwo was let go.

Place: Just outside Nintendo City
"How are you feeling Ana, Ecoli?" Paula asked. Ana had finally consented to let Ecoli in her body, as long as she retained control of all bodily control.
"Pretty good," Ana replied.
"Same," Ecoli said. Although in the same body, they both retained their own voice; unlike most Cartamians with Viruses in their bodies.
Rune Walsh and Magus appeared in front of Paula and Ana/Ecoli.
"Siruv has ordered us to destroy you, before you can destroy him," Magus said.
"More infested Cartamians?" Paula asked. "Cartame is really going downhill."
"Here they come!" Ana warned.

Paula learned the SASHU and DEBAN techs.
Ana learned all the attacks Paula knew but SASHU and DEBAN, as well as RES, HEAL, RYUKA, and CURE.
"DEBAN!" Ana/Ecoli, and Paula were covered by a shield.
"SHU!" Ana covered Paula in a shield.
"EFESS!" Rune called out. Holy light struck the two cousins, and the Virus within one of them.
"LIGHTNING 2!" Magus yelled. Magus shocked Paula and Ana/Ecoli.
Suddenly a boy with only a ponytail for hair swooped in.
"Poo!" Paula exclaimed.
"Paula, what are you doing here?"
"Die, assister of the bane of Siruv's existence!"
Poo learned TSU and WAT.
Somehow, some way, the three friends knew they could combine three Techniques into one devastating Combination.
"TSU!" Ecoli said, weakening one of the two Virused wizards.
"Ready?" Paula asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be," Ana retorted.
"Yes, Paula," Poo replied courtly.
"TRINITY BLASTER!" The powers of TSU, WAT and FOI combined into one devastating holy blast that knocked only Magus back. Obviously, Rune was prepared.
"You think that that could defeat me?" Rune said.
Paula began to PRAY for their safety. Ana started SINGing Maria's Song. Both thought, that since the Viruses within them were evil, and that since they defeated related evil incarnates by PRAYer and SINGing, that maybe the same modus operandi would work on these Viruses.
Rune and Magus tried to slink away, but the strength of good within the PRAYer and of the Song was much, much too powerful and purged the demons from their bodies.

Place: Playstation Borough
"So this is Playstation Borough," Alis remarked.
"Chu..." (Amazing..) Pika was awed by Playstation Borough, but thought it wasn't as nice as Nintendo City, mainly because it was still being constructed. Bandicoots were running around everywhere.
"Those bandicoots scare me," Alis said.
"Pi chu." (Me too.)
Just then, Alis saw Paula and Ana/Ecoli appeared with Rune, Poo and Magus.

After a goodbye of sorts, Alis, Paula and Ana/Ecoli saw Rune, Magus and Poo off for their journey to defeat the all-powerful Siruv.
