Troublesome Force: Chapter Two

Recount of previous chapters: Pika the Pikachu, Alis Landale, and Paula Polestar journeyed to Sega Town to seek the advice of Dark Falz.
Upon arriving at his catacombs, they discovered a Virusian plot to take over Dark Falz. Going deep inside, they met up with a "False Virus" called Ecoli, who accompanied them on their quest to find Dark Falz.
But when they found Dark Falz, he had already been taken over by Viruses, and began to attack them.

Place: Dark Falz Catacombs
"Pika pika, pikachu chu pikachu chu chu pika!" (Come on, he's only the epitome of evil, how hard can he be?) Pika asked hopefully. It wasn't normal for him to be so wordy, but this wasn't a normal time, what with Cartame splintered.
"Really hard," Alis said glumly. "My Laconian Sword barely damaged him."
"Thanks a lot, Alis," Paula said. "And what are we supposed to do? Let Dark Falz eat us, or defeat him again?"
"The latter, of course," Ecoli said.
"Aren't False Viruses supposed to be nonviolent?"
"No, Miss Landale," Ecoli replied, "we False Viruses hold a heavy grudge against the True Viruses. We prefer to see them fail more often than they succeed.

Place: Dark Falz Catacombs
"THUN!" Paula cried, forming a thunderbolt in her left hand, and sending it to her right, shooting it at an evilly grinning Dark Falz.
"FIRE!" Alis compressed the air around Dark Falz until it burned, but didn't damage him much.
Pika began to think. If THUN didn't do much, and it was as powerful as his techniques got, he and his friends were doomed. Suddenly he gained knowledge of ADOL, a very powerful magic skill. "Kachu!" (ADOL!) he yelled. The world in front of him was engulfed in a brilliant flash of light. When the light subsided, Paula, Alis and Ecoli were staring at Pika, and Dark Falz was writhing in pain.
One might have attributed Dark Falz' pain to the fact he was a creature of darkness, and Adol is an attack of light, but the pain was because the Virus (or possibly Viruses) within Dark Falz were streaming out, unable to stand the attack of light.
"That's a wicked attack, Pika," Paula said.
"Chu pikachu kachu, pikachu ka pika chu?" (It was amazing, wasn't it?)
"Of course it was, Pika," Alis said.
Suddenly Ecoli doubled over and fainted.
"Ecoli!" Alis said.
"Don't worry, Alis," Dark Falz said. "EXIT."

Place: Sega Town
Suddenly Alis, Pika, Paula, Dark Falz and the fainted Ecoli appeared in Sega Town, just outside Dark Falz' catacombs.
"Let's take him to a hospital," Paula said.
"That won't work," Alis said. "They only heal live people. If you want to resurrect him, try the churches."
"Might I say something?" Dark Falz inquired.
"What?" Alis asked.
"Ecoli is a Virus. Although a False Virus, not many people believe there are actually good Viruses. No offense, Ecoli."
"None taken," Ecoli said weakly.
"They might not want to serve a Virus, because of their reputation. Even though Virus was defeated, we can not say the same for his relatives. For example, Siruv. I am sure you have heard of him before, the one who splintered Cartame."

Place: Siruv's Palace
One of the Viruses discovered by Paula, Alis and Pika to be entering Dark Falz' Catacombs walked up to the large throne upon which sat Siruv, leader of the Viruses, who many believed to be Virus' descendant.
"Siruv, my liege, we were able to take over Dark Falz, but..."
"BUT WHAT?" Siruv blasted. "Show me Dark Falz!"
"But we were not able to keep our man in there. He was driven out by a weird-looking mouse, a girl in armour, and a female child wearing a pink dress, as well as a False Virus."
"How dare YOU chance coming back to ME when you could not perform a simple task such as capturing a dark-energy emitter?"
"I am sorry, my liege, but..."
"NO BUTS!" Siruv blasted again! "Guards! Take him to the dungeon!"
Two Viruses garbed like Omnicrones (Chrono Trigger enemy) grabbed the poor Virus and dragged him off to the dungeon, where other failers awaited their death.

Place: Sega Town
"But, Suelo, why won't you treat Ecoli?"
"I'm sorry, Alis, but I just can't degrade myself to treat a Virus."
"Thanks a lot, Suelo," Alis said, leaving in a huff.
A Virus came from behind Suelo.
"You did good, for a non-controlled Cartamian," the Virus said. "For that great act, we won't put one of us in you when we rule Cartame."
I'm sorry, Alis, Suelo thought. Please don't be mad at me...

"So how was it?" Dark Falz asked.
"Suelo wouldn't treat Ecoli. I thought she was kind enough to understand, but NO, she just wouldn't treat him!"
"Chu!" (Calm down!)
"Pika's right," Paula said. "Suelo probably had some special reason for why."
"But then, where will we take Ecoli?" Dark Falz asked.
"The Mr. Saturn!" Paula said.
"What are 'Mr. Saturn'?" Dark Falz inquired.
"You mean that weird-looking creature who got mad at me because I didn't have something called 'dollars'?" Alis replied.
"Yes, Landale," Paula said, obviously getting annoyed with Alis' attitude.

Place: Siruv's Palace
"You," Siruv said, pointing to a meek Virus, "are the one to take over a child. Her friends call her.... Ana."
"Isn't she a psychic or something?"
"Exactly why we want to use her. She can use her mind-read abilities to increase our power over the video game section of Cartame. She can also use some power called PSI. Our spies have been able to compile a list of the PSI she can use.
"That poor idiot who went to get Dark Falz did not research his victim thoroughly enough. Read this list, then head to Nintendo City and attack Ana! Even if she meets the people who defeated Dark Falz, they most likely will not succeed in driving you out, as they did with the poor fool who entered Dark Falz."

Place: Nintendo City
"Ana!" Paula exclaimed. "What's wrong with you, cousin?"
Paula's cousin Ana stood poised ahead of them, pink hat on, evil grin on her face, pure PSI energy circuiting around her clenched hands.
"Siruv has enlightened me as to the proper way to go about things. For with him as our leader, Cartame will enter a renaissance unlike one ever seen before."
"Virus! Get out of my cousin!"
"Very funny, cousin. Once I show you the powers of the Viruses, you will see the same way too."
"Ana, please come to your senses. Virus, please leave."
"Paula," Ana said distortedly. "Please help me!" It was obvious to Paula that that was Ana herself.
"Ana, you know we will never surrender," Dark Falz said.
"Then," Ana/Virus said, "I fear I will have to destroy you. PSI BEAM GAMMA!"
"No!!!" Paula leaped in front of Pika, to whom the beam was focused. The badge around her neck began to glow, and reflected the light back at Ana, who used PSI FREEZE GAMMA to destroy it.
Paula amazingly became aware of the Techniques GIFOI, GIWAT, and GITHU. Alis learned GIFOI, and Pika learned GITHU.
"PSI FIRE OMEGA!" Fire burst from Ana's fingers, horribly damaging all but Dark Falz, who remained relatively unfased, and Pika, whose back had been totally ripped off from the extreme heat.
Alis ran over, and pulling a potion called Ruoginin out of her pack, applied it to Pika's wounds, and Pika immediately began to recover from his pain.
Dark Falz finally made his move, attacking Ana with a tetraset of yellow fireballs.
"PSI LIFEUP GAMMA!" Ana recovered from Dark Falz' attack immediately.
"We may not be able to defeat her," Alis said. "She's more powerful than you were, Dark Falz. Argh!" Alis was blown back by a well-timed PSI BEAM GAMMA, knocking her unconscious.
"She may not be, but... Alis!" Dark Falz exclaimed.
"GITHU!" Paula yelled. A bolt of lightning much larger than that of Tsu bore deep into Ana, but was reflected back, due to her wearing a Franklin Badge; and hit Dark Falz, who was only slightly nicked. Alis still lay behind Paula, Pika and Dark Falz.
"Kachu!" (Hold on!) Pika pulled out a small potion bottle, and running towards Alis, opened it with his mouth and sprayed it on Alis, who began to recover, then rose, groaning.
"GIFOI!" Alis yelled, before getting to fully recover. Ana was unable to reflect it, though.
Pika used his QUICK ATTACK to trip Ana, knocking off her Franklin Badge.
"Now, Pika, team GITHU!"
"Chu." (Okay.)
"GITHU!"
"Kachu!" (GITHU!)
The combined force of the two Githu techniques was able to exert enough electrical potential to expel the Virus from Ana's body.
Paula ran towards Ana just as she (Ana) collapsed.
"Cousin, are you OK?"
"Paula.... I'm sorry... didn't mean.... hurt you..." Ana said in short choppy phrases, due to the loss of energy based on the exit of the Virus from her body.
"Don't worry, Ana," Paula said, "everything's going to be alright."
"I do not mean to upset you, but unless Ana gets some other force in her body, she may die."
"Dark Falz, are you saying what I think you're saying?"
"Yes, Paula. Ana has lost so much energy she can not survive. We need to find a neutral-energy to help stabilize the equal amount of dark and light energy in her body."
"But where can we find that?"

As soon as they met Ecoli, he needs help to survive, but no one seems to want to help him. And as soon as they found Paula's cousin Ana and expelled the Virus within her, she needs another person to help her. How will they resolve these dilemmas?
