I made this little section to help you people through the first parts of the game 8-) I will also assume that you used the deafult names. I will not tell you when to save your game, so you have to decide when to save. Okdesu? (that's what that guy says whenever you confirm you want that name when you first name everything 8-) ----- Onett ----- After watching the little scene, you will gain control of Ness in his room. Walk out and go downstairs. Talk to your Mom to get brought back upstairs, this time with your Clothes on. Exit the house and follow the path to the South of your house (the path on the left). You will come across a present. Open it and you will recive a Bread Roll. Now, continue down the path until you come up to some road blocks. Talk to Pokey and the Cops there to learn something. Now, go back to your house and talk to your Mom standing in front of the door. Say yes to her question to regain control of Ness back in his PJs. Go downstairs and walk up to the door. Pokey will barge in and tell you that his brother is missing. You agree to help him (you have to), and talk to your mom. You will be sent back upstairs in your regular clothing again. Go into the room next to your's and open up the Present there to recive a Cracked Bat. Equip it and go downstairs. Talk to your Dog and he will join you! Then, talk to Pokey and he will start to follow you. Now, try to leave the house. The phone will start to ring. Walk up to the phone and press A to answer it. It is your Dad, and he yaks about how to get money and blah. Once you are done talking to him, head outside and follow that same path you did earlier. You should end up fighting a few guys. Level up to Level 3 and keep on following the path. You will see that the roadblock is now gone, allowing you to continue to the meteor! Walk past it and you should see a kiddie sleeping against a tree. Talk to him and it is really Picky, Pokey's Brother! Now that you have completed what you came here for, you should hear a buzzing. Either way, if you anwser "Yes" or "No" to Pokey's question, a bee should fly up to you. His name is Buzz-Buzz, and "A Bee he is not!". After learning a nice tidbit of info, follow the path back down to your house. When you are almost there, a weird alien-lookin' thingy should block the way! *Cue Boss Music* Well, it is called a Starman Jr., the easiest boss in the game! Just bash away while Buzz-Buzz protects you with a Sheild and bashes JR, causing over 100 HP damage! After a short while, Starman JR should be destroyed! Hurray! You beat the 1st boss! Now that JR is out of the picture, walk over to Pokey's House (to the left of your's) and talk to their dad in there. Pokey and Picky will get a serious butt-whoppin 8-) and their dad will start to lecture you. Once his speech is done, the wife will fly swat Buzz-Buzz. Talk to Buzz and he will tell you that you have to secure the 8 Sanctuary locations. He gives you the Sound Stone, and you should walk outside. Finnally, daylight! Now head South to the busy part of Onett. If you are at Level 4 or above, go WAY south and fight a few of the gang members, the Sharks, until you are at Level 5 or 6. Then, walk inside the Arcade and beat up the Shark guarding the door. Then, he will move, letting you go in the back. I suggest you have a few Hamburgers and Fries, just in case. Talk to the guy in the back and he will fight you. He is Frank, the leader of the Sharks. Just keep on bashing him and replinish your HP when nessacary (using either Lifeup Alpha, a Hamurger, or Fries). Once you beat him up, you will get a OK amount of experience and he will call in his home-made robot, Frankyenstein Mark II. This guy is really a pushover, as he has to release steam after each attack he launches. Use the Steam time to heal, then attack. After a little while, Frankyenstein Mark II will eventually give in, and you will get some nice experience. After a short talk with Frank, go back in the Arcade, then walk out and talk to Frank again. He will heal you for free! Now, go to the City Hall (right above the Arcade, I believe). Then, go upstairs and talk to the Mayor. He will give you the key to open up the Touring Entertainer's Shack. Now might be a good time to save. Then, head North and you should see a little house with the words "KEEP OUT" in Bold, Red letters. Open the door with the key, and one of the Entertainer guys will give you a Travel Charm, which you should equip. Then, go in the house and exit out the other side. Go through the cave entrance and make your way through the cave. Try to fight some Attack Slugs, as they give decent experience. After your trek through the cave, you should come up to a little shiny spot. Be at level 9 or above, as you should have learned PSI Rockin, the talk to the shiny spot, and it will fight ya. The first guardian is Titanic Ant, the big ant. Use PSI Rockin to make quick work of his Antoid Cronies, then start bashing at Mr. Titanic Ant. You should use all of your PP, as he will try to PSI Magnet them. Heal when nessacary. After a semi-long battle, Titanic Ant will give in. Congrats! You beat your first Sancuary Boss without Buzz-Buzz! I WILL UPDATE WHENEVER I CAN! ************ 7) Disclamer ************ OK, this guide should be found on TWO sites only: www.gamefaqs.com www.gamewinners.com If you want to put this guide on your web site, E-Mail me at togepiteam@pokefan.com ranting that you want this guide on your web site.
