EarthBound Name Jokes

INTRODUCTION

Similar to that of my EB0 Name Jokes guide (which may of may not have made the cut to be on
Starmen.Net) only with more interesting information. It's done by me, Jakob Dorof, so you know
it's good! (Mediocre) Read on.

TOWNS

1. ONETT
The word/number ONE is incorporated into it. This was actually pretty hard to notice.
(And to make matters worse, it is pronounced "On It.)

2. TWOSON
More obvious than the last. TWOson. TWO. It's pretty hard not to notice.

3. THREED
"Three" is in the word.

4. FOURSIDE
"Four" is in the word. And so ends the town "One Two Three Four" gag.

5. PEACEFUL REST VALLEY
As in the R.I.P. tombstone type peaceful rest.

6. HAPPY HAPPY VILLAGE
Home of the Happy Happyist Cult. I think they also called it this for irony; the place is really
depressing when you get there.

7. LILLIPUT STEPS
There is a book that some may or may not be familar with called Gulliver's Travels. In the book,
he is stranded at sea and finally comes to a land called Lillput.  Gulliver is a giant compared
to these people on the land who could be about as big as someone's toes. Thus, they are
Lillputians and hence the Lilliput steps are tiny.

8. WINTERS
Too obvious. If you can't tell, flood my in-box until my account breaks down. (Joking, joking...)

9. BRICK ROAD
Named that for irony, probably...There aren't any bricks to be seen. Then again, it could just be
the result of the developer's poor English...

10. SUMMERS
See WINTERS for details.

11. SCARABA
Took some thinking to get this one, but it's a joke off of "scarab" beetles.

12. MAGICANT
"Magic" is in the name. Also, a town named Magicant is in EB0.

CHARACTERS/ENEMIES

1. DOCTOR ANDONUTS
Donuts!

2. BOOGEY TENT
As in the Boogey Monster.

3. THE RUNAWAY FIVE
There are six members, and the only one with a name is Lucky. Heck, we don't even know which one
Lucky is. Anyway, I'm guessing there are SIX members for irony.

4. TALAH RAMAH
A joke off of the Dali Lama.

5. LIER X. AGGERATE
Liar Exxagerate.

Come to think of it, in Japanese, "Monotori" and "Monopori" are very similar, so you're probably
