Scarabian Rainstorm Written by Heavily Armored Hamster Life is full of heat The heat of actions The heat of troubles And none more so Than the little country Of Scarabia The heat is sweltering There is no escape Everyday they toil In a steamy air They can't escape the heat The heat of the day But every now and then Something rolls around Clouds begin to form Above their weary heads A mighty crackle is heard And one night's vacation earned The Scarabian rainstorm begins Everybody looks to the sky Realizes the water is coming They fled to their adobes They shut the door tightly And forget about the day The sky darkens And not a sound is heard The usual hustle and bustle Replace by a silent pitter pat Of rain playfully jabbing The roofs of every home Life slows down People sit down Talk about their day Read a book or two Draw a picture Anything but their work The rainstorm stays Just a day in Scarabia And then it passes Taking on it's pleasures To another near by town A new day begins With all the troubles Washed gently away A new day begins So clean and new The new day begins And yes the heat returns But after the shower It's not so intolerable In fact, it's exciting Everything's clean again
