My Reality

Sometimes I get a sense
That my world's caving in

I start to feel weak
My mind starts to fade away

The world is bathed in light
Fading into obscurity I can't divine

Then I get this feeling,
I get this strange feeling...

But only for a second
Then I wake by the phone

Where I fell asleep
As if nothing had happened...

It's so strange
It really creeps me out

Sometimes I feel...
Like I've done this before

Like I know what's ahead
That I've been there twice today

Like time's looping
Looping frames over and over

Sometimes I feel
My body being ripped apart...

Only to awake
Right where I left off...

I don't pretend to understand
It's above my perceptions of reality

But, but...
It's like my mind's turned off...

But, but...
It's like my mind's been reset...

But, but...
It's like my mind's in a surge...

But...How could this be?
Could something be happening to reality?

Is there someone so powerful
That they can alter it's flow?

I...I don't want to know
No, please don't tell me

I like my fragile reality
I like it with all pieces in tact

I have a feeling if I knew the solution...
My reality would shatter...
