Against The World Written by Heavily Armored Hamster Sometimes I fight alone Sometimes the world is on The side of my opponent- Sometimes the furniture The appliances, the floor itself Jumps up and begins to dance And battles me Sometimes when I rise The Alarm Clock hustles me The Lamp jumps from its stand And tries to bash me The stairs laugh and trip me And the toilet explodes in rage Sometimes I fight alone Sometimes The world Just seems to be against me And it's those times When I merely have to stand A little bit taller And grip the bat A little bit tighter When the world's against me And the furniture dances about When the inanimate animates I have to accept the odds And fight against the world
