Goodbye, Onett Written by M. Storey I leave the house, Going off just me, alone. Starting my quest, One final glance at my home. I feel the tears, Well up like stars and the moon. I won't be back, Not any time soon. I force myself 'long, This dusty old path. Waving good-bye, And I force out a laugh. Friendly faces, As I stroll right past. Goodbye old friends, Hurry up, just run fast. Past through the town, Past through all of the trees. Going forward, Leaving all my fond memories. But I cannot stop, My fate lies ahead. Armed with my strength and courage, So, so long town, You have been great. But my life now turns, It turns a new page.
