A long, long time ago
I can still remember
How that video game
used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance
I'd find that pokey
and kick his pants
And maybe he would come back
for a sequel
But I would make Nintendo pay
for having EB64 delayed
Previews in the game mags
Soon Nintendo I would frag
I don't think I've ever had fun
Since I figured out EB64
Would never be done
But something pissed me off
Deep inside
The day Earthbound died

After Ness kicked that blobby face
With the help of his new bud Jeff
They defeated some foul grass
To the next sanctuary they had passed
This journey was going pretty fast
Now the leftovers smell in my room
Was smelling worse than a walkin' shroom

The game had taken my soul
To me the TV was the world's whole

A bunch of gamers lost in space
With enough free time to make a website

Cause pokey is its only friend

And as the credits went high to the top of my TV
To credit all who made this dream
