With one mighty blow, a teenager of earth becomes hero. He falls to the ground, battle tacking its toll, some pains just can't be wrought by a single bread roll. His love holds him in her arms, he is bleeding, a gash through his heart, but one cut cannot tear them apart. "My Earthbound knight, you fought so bravely and true, but where was I when I could have helped you"? "My dear my dear, do not despair. what's done is done, and I do not blame you. So please, remember my life's last breath, remember my words that you might not fret. I love you with every inch of this shattered heart, and I know in my veins this cannot tear us apart. Shed not a tear at my life's passing, but all the times remember that are worth compassing. Now I leave you, with not much but love, but if there be angels above," Then he stops, the pain too much, he breathes deeper, his love gives him her touch. And he draws one last gasp of air, and opens his mouth, not making a sound. He mouths out "I love you," then limp in his true loves arms, he dies with glory, flaming down with his enemy. A tear rolls down her cheek, and lands on his face Will there be another to fill this great space? She breaks down in tears, at this great disgrace. She knows he is gone, but a part still remains, one that evil will not touch again. Until she dies, the Earthbounder's maiden, until she dies this part has safe haven. In the back of her mind, she hears a great buzzing, she knows its that pest that started this whole thing. He asks questions, her too bewildered to answer, but he understands, and with out a word heals her own wounds. A beam of light, a bright shining star, falls to the hero, ever so bizarre. The bruises of battle seem to leave, the one through the heart and she clings to his sleeve. Two brown orbs open, and gaze to his love, his speech was correct, about angels above. Then without words they take loves embrace, a long kiss that extinguishes evil. With one final kiss, they thank him. Called by dung beetle, at times a bee, but he leaves no heart to cleave, to cleave for the single thing that cannot be bought, love. Then in the wake of evil's cold plight, his love kisses her true earthbound knight.
